TO ALL WI-IOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM A. GILES, of Chicago, in the county of' Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a. new and ornamental Design for Clock Cases; and I do hereby declare and make known that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of thc same, reference being had to the accompanying photographic representations thereof, forming part of this specification.
The material of which the clock case is constructed is black walnut wood, being ornamented and embellished, however, with bronze figures upon each side and a bronze design upon the face of the clock below the dial, as shown in the said photographic representation. The clock may be arranged upon the pedestal shown, or upon any other, as the pedestal upon which the clock stands forms no part of my design.
In the accompanying photograph, a a represent the two bronze side figures, and b the design upon the face, the figures upon which are shown in alto relieve. The remainder of the case, the dial excepted, is of polished black walnut, carved as represented.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for clock cases, consisting of the black walnut case in combination with the bronze figures upon each side, and the bronze alto relieve figures upon the front, as shown and described.
