Be it known that l, Mrnox S. TELLER, a citizen of the United States. residinga t Kings ton, in the county of Ulster and State of New York. have invented new and useful improvements in Universal Business Filing- Uards, of which the following is a specification.

While the character of the perforations forming the said lines is such as to permit of the ready removal or tearing out of the piece C when in the use of the card that need be done, they are still sufficiently strong and durable to maintain the piece C in place, so that it may keep the side tahs t t in good order and shape for the performance of their functions in the filing-boxes and not he doubled 0r hroken or creased over, and thus injure their Usefulness. When the card comes to hand. the recipient need only take hold of it with one hand and hy the thumb and finger of the other rarcfully tear or hreak out the piece C, when the card mar he at once secured on the rod of the card-index filing-case the same as other cards.
