It is already known, to provide a turbo-blower apparatus capable to be applied to various elements, for instance, for drying hair, linen, or for producing a sufficient heat capable to create sweating.

The purpose of the present invention is to allow a rational use of this turbo-blower in using a cabin arranged for taking either a heat bath or a shower.

To this end, the invention relates to a cabin for sweating by means of heat baths, wherein said cabin is constituted by several screens delimiting a surrounding wall inside of which a movable wall is placed.

According to a characteristic of the invention, the movable wall has holes provided for both the passage through of the individuals head and shower taps.

A cabin according to the invention is shown, by way of non-limitative example, in the attached drawings wherein FIG. I is a perspective view of a cabin permitting to have either a shower or a heat bath, a movable wall dividing the cabin so as to allow having either a shower or a heat bath,

As shown in FIG. 1, the invention relates to the embodiment of a cabin from anti-splashing screens made, for instance, of glass or plastic material, said screens being fitted together so as to form, either a shower cabin or an independent cabin adaptable to a bath-tub; a non-limitative exampleis shown in FIG. 1. In this Figure the cabin comprises four screens 1 as shown in the accompanying figures as l, l l and 1.. respectively, on one of said screens a shower 2 has been fitted.

On the screen 1 means are provided for fixing a wall 3, adapted to divide the cabin, hooks 4 are integral with said wall and are fitted on supports 5 integral with the screen 1 The hooks 4 provide holding means for certain of the parts. Identical supports 4, are provided at the upper part of the screen 1 so as to permit the wall 3 to be moved over and to bring it to obturate the upper part of the cabin. Those hooks co-operating with supports 5 allow a rotation of the wall 3.

In one corner of the cabin a movable seat 5 is wall 3 which then rests on the upper part of the seat and divides the cabin into two parts.

On the wall 3 a hole is provided to allow the user to pass his head outside the space reserved for the heat bath.

Stops 10 are provided on one of the faces of the wall 3, said stops applying on the inner face of the screen 1 so as to maintain said wall.

Locking means 11 are provided on both the screen and wall so as the latter can be clamped, in one motion only, in a vertical position when the user wishes to have a shower.

Locking elements 11 are constituted by a cylindrical handle 11, co-operating with an open clasp 11 inside which is located the handle 11 said clasp reclosing on the handle.

On one of the screens, the from screen or door 1 an aperture 12 is provided for fitting the apparatus producing the heat source.

According to the shower construction and in order to adapt the apparatus to showers which already exist, one or several screens may be removed and will then be replaced by the walls of the construction between which the low part of the shower is placed.

Deflectors 13 will be provided on the aperture 12 so as to permit the heat flow to be directed downwards or upwards.

FIG. 2 illustrates another use which may be carried out with the cabin shown in FIG. 1. In this embodiment the intermediary wall 3 is arranged on the top of the cabin, so as to obturate the latter, an apparatus 14 for spreading linen being arranged inside said cabin; thus, when closing the front screen 1 acting as a door, the cabin becomes air-tight and can receive a certain quantity of linen to be dried after the turbo-blower is operated.

For maintaining the wall 3 at the upper part of the cabin, it is necessary to provide additional support means, projecting inside the periphery of the cabin delimited by screens, or to provide a small elbow at the upper part of screens, so as to precisely reduce said periphery.

FIG. 3 shows a mode of embodiment according to which the cabin is constituted by an assembly of screens 1 which rest upon the edges of the bath-tub 15.

This example will be adapted, there again, either to the upper part of the cabin, made with screens 1, or to the surface of the bath-tub, according to its former intended purpose.

However, so as to permit'to direct the hot air proceeding from the turbo-blower, a swivelling shutter 16 will be provided on the lower surface of the assembly (see FIG. 6), said shutter being actuated from the outside by the user in order to distribute the hot air to any part of his body, or, when the apparatus is used for drying linen, so as to direct the air downwards and thus secure a closed circuit inside the cabin.

FIG. 4 and 5 respectively show as regards FIG. 4, the distribution of the hot air inside the cabin illustrated in FIG. 1, after the turbo-blower be actuated; thanks to dotted lines P, which illustrate the displacement of the hot air, it is easy to understand the effect produced, either on the linen, or the body of an individual wishing to have a heat bath; as regards FIG. 5, the distribution of the hot air inside a bath-tub or a cabin in accordance with the one illustrated in FIG. 3.

The turbo-blower is fitted on a screen of the cabin and a suitable means oflocking will temporarily be provided, such as for example the screwing of a disc 17 on the threading provided around a portion 18 of the cylindrical part of the turbo-blower 19, the lower part of the turbo-blower 19 having a greater diameter than the one of the aperture made in the screen.

Screens made of glass or plastic material may advantageously replace traditional layings, and it will be possible to place between the wall and the screen, drawings or engravings so as to promote the users relaxation.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the example of embodiment hereabove described and presented, from which other modes and forms of embodiment can be provied without departing thereby from the scope of the invention.

What is claimed is:

1. In a sweating unit for obtaining heat baths and the like, a plurality of anti-splash screens fitted together to form an independent cabin, a shower mounted on one of said screens, a horizontally disposed movable wall mounted in said cabin, similar supports mounted in the upper portion of the cabin for selectively receiving said wall to permit the wall to selectively close the top of the cabin, a movable seat arranged in one corner of the cabin, legs for supporting said seat, a tank below said cabin receiving the lower ends of said legs, said seat including an adjustable plate, said wall adapted to selectively rest on said seat to divide the cabin into two parts, there being a hole in said wall, stops on said wall for maintaining said wall in its proper position, locking elements for selectively holding said wall in vertical position, and means on one of said screens for attaching a heat source to the cabin.

2. The structure as defined in claim 1, and further including a folding clothing hanger in said cabin for permitting use of the cabin as a clothes dryer.

3. The structure as defined in claim 1, and further including deflectors arranged contiguous to the means for attaching the heat source to the cabin, and wherein the screens are adapted to be supported on a bath tub.

4. The structure as defined in claim 1, and further includiing swivelly mounted shutters.

5. The structure as defined in claim 1, and further including turbo blower means, and temporary locking means.
