Description

(No Model.)
- A. NASCHER.
sUs-PENDBR END. No. 300,495. Patented June 17,1884.
WITNESSES v i Q; Mdmmvw UNITED STATES PATENT @rrrcs ADOLF NASCHER, OF NEXV YOPJ N. Y.
SUSPENDER-END.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 300,4:95, dated June 17, 1884.
Application filed January l7, 1584. {No modelv) 4., all wltom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, Alien NASOHER, of the city, county, and State of-New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Suspenderdtnds, of which the following is a I specification.
This invention has reference to an improved Suspender-end, which is made of one continuous piece of braid, into which the ring or hook that forms the connection with the buckle of the suspension-strap is directly inserted, so as to dispense with the leather or other fastening of the ring to the suspender-end.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a side elevation of my improved Suspender-end provided with a connectingring and with a suspension device for the drawers, and Fig. 2 is a side view of a suspending end with a connecting-hook.
Similar letters of reference indicate cone 2 sponding' parts.
A in. the drawings represents a suspendercnd, which is braided in one continuous piece from button-hole to button-hole. The button holes a a 0i thesuspender-end' are formed, in the act of braiding, integral therewith in the usual well-known manner. The connecting ring or hook B, by which the connection is made with the buckle of the snspender-straps, is connected, in the act of braiding, to the suspenderend. A direct connection of the ring or hook with the suspenderend without any leather or other fastening is thereby obtained. \Vhen the braiding of the suspender end has reached the point where the ring or hook Bis to half the length of the suspender-end, and
then the operation of braidingis continued until the. suspender-end is completed. A
spring-clasp, D, or other suitable device is attached to the loop 0, which serves to grasp the drawers, whereby the latter are supported by the same suspenders which support the pantaloons. The loop or loops G form an integral portion of the braided suspender-end A, whereby the utility of the same is increased with little increase in the cost of the same.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- A Suspender-end braided continuously from button-hole to button-hole and provided with aconnect-ing ring or hook inserted at an intermediate point and braided therein, in combination with a loop or loops, made integral with the Suspender-end and provided with a fastening device at the ends to support the drawers, substantially as described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
ADOLF NASGHER. Witnesses:
