  • FIG. 5 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new wrist worn device holder embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5 , the wrist worn vaporizer holding device 10 generally comprises a pair of connectors 12, the connectors 12 of which are selectively mutually couplable and attached singly to a strap 14 proximate to opposed ends 16 of the strap 14. The strap 14 is configured to be wrapped around a wrist of a user so that the connectors 12 are positioned to be mutually coupled, thereby securing the strap 14 around the wrist. The pair of connectors 12 may comprise a hook and loop fastener 18, or other connecting means, such as, but not limited to, clasps, buckles, and the like. Additionally, the present invention anticipates the strap 14 being endless and resiliently stretchable. Thus configured, the strap 14 could be stretched for inserting the wrist of the user, and then released to secure the strap 14 to the wrist.
  • Each cord 20 of a pair of cords 20 has opposing ends 22 that are attached to an outer face 24 of the strap 14 so that the cord 20 defines a loop 26. As shown in FIG. 1 , the cords 20 cross over the outer face 24 of the strap 14 so that the pair of cords 20 is X-shaped. The loops 26 are configured for insertion of a vaporizer 28 to removably attach the vaporizer 28 to the strap 14, and thus to the wrist of the user. The vaporizer 28 thus is transportable with and accessible to the user. The present invention is anticipated to be useful in limiting misplacement of a vaporizer 28 and increasing its availability to the user.
  • The cords 20 may be resiliently stretchable and thus configured to be stretched to expand the loops 26, positioning the user to insert the vaporizer 28 through the loops 26. The cords 20 are configured to rebound, upon their release, to removably attach the vaporizer 28 to the strap 14 and to the wrist of the user.
  • A pair of slits 30 is positioned in the strap 14, with each slit 30 being substantially perpendicular to opposed edges 32 of the strap 14 and extending between a respective opposing end 22 of one cord 20 and an associated opposing end 22 of the other cord 20. In this configuration, the pair of cords 20 comprises an endless band 34, which is positioned through the pair of slits 30. A pair of outer segments 36 of the endless band 34 cross over a section 38 of the strap 14 between the slits 30 so that pair of outer segments 36 is X-shaped. A pair of inner segments 40 of the endless band 40 extend along an inner face 42 of the strap 14 between the slits 30, as shown in FIG. 2 . The slits 30 are configured for insertion of the vaporizer 28 so that the section 38 of the strap 14 between the slits 30 rests atop the vaporizer 28 with the outer segments 36 crossing over the section 34. The vaporizer 28 being positioned through the slits 30 further secures it to the wrist of the user.
  • The wrist worn vaporizer holding device 10 also may include a pair of sheathes (not shown). Each sheath is attached to the strap 14 and would extend along an outside edge 44 of a respective slit 30. In this configuration, the pair of cords 20 also comprises an endless band 34, which is positioned through the pair of slits 30 and the pair of sheathes. The present invention also anticipates other connecting means for removably coupling a vaporizer 28 to a strap 14, such as an open ended tube attached to the strap 14, over which the pair of cords 20 extends, an open ended tube that is resiliently stretchable, magnets for magnetically engaging vaporizers 28 having ferromagnetic shells, and the like.
  • The present invention anticipates a wrist worn vaporizer holding system 46 comprising a wrist worn vaporizer holding device 10, as described in the specification above, and a vaporizer 28. The vaporizer 28 is inserted through the loops 26 of the wrist worn vaporizer holding device 10 so that the vaporizer 28 is removably attached to the strap 14 and to the wrist of the user. The vaporizer 28 thus is transportable with and accessible to the user.
  • In use, the strap 14 is wrapped around a wrist of a user and the connectors 12 are mutually coupled to secure the strap 14 around the wrist. A vaporizer 28 is inserted through the loops 26 to removably attach the vaporizer 28 to the strap 14, and thus to the wrist of the user, so that the vaporizer 28 is transportable with and accessible to the user.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
