- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a shoulder bag assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a back perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view taken along line 3-3 ofFIG. 1 of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure showing a first cut being opened. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new shoulder bag device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 4 , theshoulder bag assembly 10 generally comprises ashoulder bag 12 that is comprised of a plurality ofpanels 14 that is each strategically attached together to form theshoulder bag 12. Theshoulder bag 12 has a plurality ofstorage compartments 16 that is each integrated into a respective one of thepanels 14 store objects carried by a user. Each of thepanels 14 comprises a respective portion of a pair of denim jeans, and each of the respective portions includes arespective pocket 18 of the pair of denim jeans. Moreover, therespective pocket 18 on each of the respective portions defines a respective one of thestorage compartments 16 of theshoulder bag 12. - The plurality of
panels 14 includes afront panel 20, aback panel 22 and aperimeter panel 24 extending between thefront panel 20 and theback panel 22. Theperimeter panel 24 has afirst cut 26 extending into an interior of theshoulder bag 12 to define anentry 28 of theshoulder bag 12 for accessing the interior of theshoulder bag 12, and theback panel 22 has asecond cut 30 extending into the interior of theshoulder bag 12. A pair ofcouplings 32 is each coupled to theperimeter panel 24, and each of thecouplings 32 is positioned on opposite ends of thefirst cut 26 from each other. Each of thecouplings 32 may comprise astrap 34 coupled to theperimeter panel 24 and aring 36 integrated into thestrap 34. Theperimeter panel 24 has a firstlateral side 31, a secondlateral side 33, atop side 35 and a bottom side 37. The firstlateral side 31 is flattened between thetop side 35 and the bottom side 37, and the secondlateral side 33 curves outwardly between thetop side 35 and the bottom side 37. Furthermore, thetop side 35 has a width that is less than the width of the bottom side 37, and thefirst cut 26 is positioned on the firstlateral side 31. - An
inner pocket 38 has aperimeter edge 40 is coupled to aninside surface 42 of theback panel 22. Theperimeter edge 40 surrounds thesecond cut 30 such that thesecond cut 30 defines anentry 44 into theinner pocket 38. Afirst closure 46 is movably coupled to a boundingedge 48 of thefirst cut 26 for opening and closing thefirst cut 26. Asecond closure 50 is movably coupled to a bounding edge 51 of thesecond cut 30 for opening and closing thesecond cut 30. Each of thefirst closure 46 and thesecond closure 50 may comprise a zipper or other type of mechanical closure. - A
shoulder strap 52 is provided and theshoulder strap 52 is coupled to theshoulder bag 12 for wearing over a user's shoulder. Theshoulder strap 52 has afirst end 54 and asecond end 56, and each of thefirst end 54 and thesecond end 56 is coupled to a respective one of thecouplings 32 on theperimeter panel 24 of theshoulder bag 12. Theshoulder strap 52 comprises afirst portion 58 which slidably engages asecond portion 60 such that theshoulder strap 52 has an adjustable length. - In use, a variety of objects are stored in the interior of the
shoulder bag 12 and in theinner pocket 38. Additionally, a variety of objects can be stored in each of thestorage compartments 16. The respective portions of the pair of denim jeans of which theshoulder bag 12 is constructed enhances the ornamental appeal of theshoulder bag 12. Additionally, theshoulder strap 52 is employed for carrying theshoulder bag 12. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
