Abstract

A ceiling fan is disclosed. Above a housing for accommodating the fan is connected with a wind pipe for feeding in cold or hot air and below the housing is a lower frame rim for assembling with light steel. A bottom opening of the lower frame rim is a chassis having ventilation holes and a center of the chassis is a round hole for installing an exhaust disc. The fan is installed relatively above the round hole. A rim of the round hole of the chassis is a blade frame surrounding a fan blade. Separation with a gate effect is formed between a top rim of the blade frame and the housing, so that air enters from the ventilation holes and discharges from the exhaust disc, thereby assembling the entire ceiling fan in a light steel frame on a ceiling and increasing intensity of ventilation at a same time.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • a) Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a ceiling fan, and more particularly to a ceiling fan which can be assembled in a light steel frame on a ceiling and can increase intensity of ventilation at a same time.
  • b) Description of the Prior Art
  • Equidistant grid-shaped frames assembled by light steel are usually provided on a ceiling in a room or a specific area, and interiors of the frames are emplaced with baffles of various materials to achieve soundproofing, fireproofing or aesthetics. Whereas, in addition to providing inside the grid-shaped frames with lighting equipment or inlets and outlets of an air condition system of a building, fan structures will be also installed in the light steel frames for indoor air circulation.
  • For most of the conventional fan structures, a protruded cover plate will be assembled at a bottom of the fan, forming an abrupt structure on the ceiling, which spoils smoothness and sense of beauty for the ceiling constituted by the light steel. In particular, as air has to enter from a side of the cover plate at the bottom of the fan, the fan blade must be lower than the ceiling by a significant distance that sufficient air can be sucked in. Apart from the issue of aesthetics, this will more easily result in louder noise.
  • However, if the distance between the fan blade and the ceiling is reduced, air that is sucked in will be decreased significantly and an effect of air circulation will be reduced in a great deal, too. As a result, it has been long an issue to be solved by industries about how to assemble the ceiling fan in the light steel frame on the ceiling and increase the intensity of ventilation at a same time.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a ceiling fan which can be assembled in a light steel frame on a ceiling and can increase intensity of ventilation at a same time.
  • To achieve the aforementioned object, for the ceiling fan of the present invention, an upper side of a housing for accommodating the fan is connected with a wind pipe for feeding in cold or hot air; whereas, a lower side of the housing is formed with a lower frame rim suitably for assembling with the light steel. A bottom surface of the lower frame rim is installed with a chassis having plural ventilation holes and a center of the chassis is formed with a round hole for installing an exhaust disc. The fan is installed relatively above the round hole. The present invention is characterized in that a rim of the round hole is formed with a blade frame which surrounds relatively the blade of the fan.
  • Therefore, separation with a gate effect is formed between a top rim of the blade frame and the housing, allowing air to enter from the ventilation holes and then discharge from the exhaust disc, thereby achieving the objects of assembling the entire ceiling fan in the light steel frame on the ceiling and increasing the intensity of ventilation at a same time.
  • According to the aforementioned main features, a top of the housing of the said ceiling fan is provided with a through-hole and a flange is provided at a rim of the through-hole to join correspondingly with the wind pipe.
  • Specifically, the present invention is provided with following functions:
      • 1. The design of the blade frame can be utilized to form between the top rim and the housing the separation that is provided with the gate effect, allowing air to enter from the ventilation holes of the chassis and then discharge from the exhaust disc at the center of the chassis, which achieves the objects of assembling the entire ceiling fan in the light steel frame on the ceiling and increasing the intensity of ventilation at a same time.
      • 2. Under the function of the flange of the through-hole at the top of the housing, the joining effect between the housing and the wind pipe can be intensified, thereby increasing structural reliability of the entire ceiling fan.
  • To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 shows a structural view of appearance of a ceiling fan of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 shows an exploded view of the ceiling fan of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 shows a cut-away view of the ceiling fan of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • FIG. 1 shows a structural view of appearance of a ceiling fan of the present invention and FIG. 2 shows an exploded view of the ceiling fan of the present invention. For the ceiling fan of the present invention, an upper side of a housing 20 for accommodating a fan 10 is connected with a wind pipe 30 for feeding in cold or hot air, and a lower side of the housing 20 is formed with a lower frame rim 21 suitably for assembling with a light steel frame. An opening on a bottom surface of the lower frame rim 21 is installed with a chassis 40 having plural ventilation holes 41 and a center of the chassis 40 is formed with a round hole 42 for installing an exhaust disc 50. The fan 10 is installed relatively above the round hole 42.
  • Upon implementation, the fan 10 is constituted by a motor 11 and a fan blade 12. The round hole 42 is provided with a set of brackets 43 for installing the fan 10 and the exhaust disc 50 and a top of the housing 20 is provided with a through-hole 22. A rim of the through-hole 22 is provided with a flange 23 to join correspondingly with the wind pipe 30. As the method of assembling the chassis 40 with the housing 20, and the method of assembling the exhaust disc 50 with the chassis 40, whether by screw locking or snap latching, are not essential to the present invention and thus are not described further.
  • The present invention is characterized in that a rim of the round hole 42 of the chassis 40 is formed with a blade frame 44 which surrounds relatively the fan blade 12. Referring to FIG. 3 at a same time, separation with a gate effect is formed between a top rim of the blade frame 44 and the housing 20, such that when the fan 10 is operating, in addition to that air guided by the wind pipe 30 can be blown directly toward the exhaust disc 50 to an exterior of the housing 20, air outside the housing 20 can also enter into the housing 20 from the ventilation holes 41 of the chassis 40 and then be discharged from the exhaust disc 50 at the center of the chassis 40, thereby achieving the objects of assembling the entire ceiling fan in the light steel frame on the ceiling and increasing the intensity of ventilation at a same time.
  • Comparing to the conventional structure, the ceiling fan of the present invention uses primarily the design of the blade frame to form between the top rim and the housing the separation with the gate effect, allowing air to enter from the ventilation holes of the chassis and then discharge from the exhaust disc at the center of the chassis, such that the entire ceiling fan can be assembled in the light steel frame on the ceiling and the intensity of ventilation can be increased at a same time. In particular, under the function of the flange of the through-hole at the top of the housing, the joining effect between the housing and the wind pipe is intensified, thereby increasing the structural reliability of the entire ceiling fan.
  • It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
