This invention relates to new and useful improvements in nose punches of the type adapted for use in forming a hole in the nose of live stock for the insertion of a ring.

The primary object of the invention is to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth, a manually operable tool of the aforementioned character embodyinga construction andarrangement of parts whereby the operation of cutting or punching the hole through the animals nose maybe expeditiously and positively accomplished. a
