IMPROVEMENTIN STOVE- POLISH.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 179,277, dated J nne 27, 1876; application filed May 27, 1876.,
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that We,-GHARLEs H. GURFEW and ALFRED HALL, of Fiskedale, Worcester county, Massachusetts, have invented a new and Improved Compound for Stove-Polish, of which the following is a specification:
Our improved compound consists of plumhago, one pound nitrate of silver, thirty grains; common table-salt, thirty grains; and cream-tartar, ten and one-half grains, mixed together and pulverized-the said compound being an improved polish for stoves, and any other iron-work requiring a brilliant luster,
- which can be produced by it with less labor than is necessary with those now in use.
