Referring to the drawing: Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a stretching device constructed in accordance with the invention as positionedin a. tie. i I I Figure 2 is a perspective view of the stretching device. Referring to the drawing in detai1,;the stretcher includes a length of substantially flat metal bent intermediate its ends as indicated at 5 to provide the leg members 6 and g '7 respectively. The leg members 6 and-7lie in closeen- With the foregoing and otherobjects in gagement with each other at a point adjacent to the portion 5 so that the device will present a relatively flat surface to insure x against wrinkles being formed by the stretcher, at'this point. i
From the foregoing it will be seen that the leg members 6 and 7 will normally lie in a position as shown by Figure 2, to the end that when the'de vice is inserted within the open end of a necktie, the outer edges of the leg members 6 and 7 will be forced into en- A tie stretcher embodying a length of flat metal bent intermediate its ends, to provide leg members, the adjacent faces of the leg members contactin with each other throughout portions of thelr lengths, the free ends of I the leg members being arranged in spaced relation with each other, and the inner, adjacent faces of the leg members lying in the same plane. a
