A guard member or sleeve 34: is mounted over spring 33 and 18 provided withan upper slot 35 for receiving the rib orliange portion 36 adjacentpintle barrel l9 of hinge part 17 when said hinge partwith the-attached window is moved downwardly into closed position. A slot 37 is provided at the lower end of sleeve 34 to receive the rib or flange portion 38 of hinge part 16,
and this sleeve thereby provides-means for i positively locking the hinge part 17- against swinging movement on hinge part 16 when said part 17 is lowered and while the locking finger 29 extends above barrel 19 to hold 1t and-the attached window in locked position.
