This invention relates to in'iproveinents in fur knives and has particular reference to a safety razor blade holder for utilizing old` safety razor blades for use in the fur cutting trade.

The blade in the present instance is shown as of the Gillette type, but -it will'be appreciated that the sections may be slightly Ymodified to accommodate vother types of safety razor blades. The bladev 18 is cut to such shape as to lie within the confines of the edges of the members but to allow thecutting edge to be exposed through the cut-away portions 17. The outer surfaces of the members adjacent the edges 15 and 16 are bevelled as at 19 to accommodate the lingersl of the user when holding the device in the hand yfor cutting purposes andv to impart a finished appearance thereto. The head- 13 of the member 11 carries a rotatable button 22 having a heady 23 which is disposed in a recess on the eXterior'face ofthe member, anda head 24 which extends beyond the inner facel and which head is ,provided with a flat vface 25.
