To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, NELSON Gonen'r'r, a

' durable since it does not use the. springs,

brackets, and catches which are so troublesome in the doors now in common use owing to the fact that they become easily broken. Furthermore, these hinges, brackets, and springs collect dust etc., and it is almost impossible to. properly clean them.

A still further very important object of the invention is to provide an oven door of this nature which is exceedingly simple in its construction, one which is eflicient and reliable in its operation, not likely to easily become out of order, and otherwise wel adapted for the purpose for which it is designed.

With the above andnumerous other objects in view, as will appear as the description proceeds, the invention residesin certain novel features of construction, and in the combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and claimed.

Referring to the drawing in detail it will be seen that the stove is designated generally by the letter S and includes an oven the opening 5. Along the portion 0 having 9 vertical sides of the opening 5 there is provided on the oven brackets designated generally by the letters B. The door when closed, has its upperprojections 17 resting on the extensions 11 and its lower projections 18 resting in the hook portions 11. To open the door, the handle, 19 is grasped and the door is raised to clear the-projections 17 of the extensions 11 and then the door may be lowered to the position shown in Figure 3, when the projection 17 will rest on the arms 7. If it isdesired to extend the door to the position shown in Figure 1 in order that a baking pan or the like can be rested thereon, the projections 18 are piaced in engagement with the under sides l o the arms 7 while an intermediate portion of the door rests on the bar 15.

1. Intcombination, a. stove provided with an opening, a door associated with the open.- ing, brackets associated with the stove and provided with upper and lower hook portions, andintermediately'disposed arms, and a bar attached to the ends of said arms,

2. In combination, a door provided with projections at its upper corners and projections at its lower corners, a pair of brackets disposed in parallelism, each bracket formed from a single sheet of material bent over upon itself intermediate its ends to form arms terminating in loops, a portion 10 projecting upwardly from the arms and terminating in an outwardly disposed extension for receiving the upper projections of the door, and a portion extending downwardly from the arms and terminating in hooks to receive the lower projections of the doors, and a bar having its ends disposed in the loops on the ends of the arms.
