This invention relates to condensers especially adapted for application to automobiles.
invention is to provide a radiator attachment having simple and reliable means whereby to condense the vapors created in the cooling system of an automobile, thereby dispensing with the necessity of employing the breather pipe now widely, used in connection with automobiles.
By the use of this invention the alcohol veniently applied to automobiles without. changing the construction of the same and without marring the appearance of the vehicle.
A further object is to; provide a condenser for automobile radiators which is neat in appearance, cheap to manufacture and of highly simplified construction.
Other objects and advantages of the invention will be apparent during the course of the following description. I

theconstruction of the same h N In carrying out'the invention the cap 8 is provided with a cone-shaped bottom 10 welded or otherwise secured to the-inner wall of the cap at a point above the screw threads thereon and the upper portion of the cone-shaped bottom is secured to the top of the cap and communicates with an outlet pipe 11. The outlet pipe 11' extends through the to of the cap 8 and has its upper end formed with a nozzle12 which discharges the vapor or steam as the case may be intoa header 14 of semiebulbous formation.
A plurality of return pipes 16 are connected to the header 14 and have their lower ends extended through the top of the cham her or cap 8. The lower ends'of the return pipes15 communicate with a return chainber 1801? annular formation and the return chamber is provided with a plurality of outlet pipes 20 which permit the condensed liquid to return to the cooling system of the engine. a
p In case the pressure of the steam exceeds a predetermined point, the, relief valves 25 are automatically opened so as to permit this excess steam to be discharged. Any number of the relief valves 25 may be extended through the top of the cap 8 and the valves 25 of. course have communication with the annular chamber 18. Having thus described the invention, what is claimed is 1. A condenser for automobile radiators comprising a cap having means whereby the same may be secured to the nipple of a radiator,,a cone-shaped bottom wall arranged within said cap and having its outer edge secured to the cap at a point spaced intermediatethe upper and lower ends of the same, the apex of the cone-shaped bottom wall being connected to the top of the cap,
outlet pipe having communication with the apex of said bottom Wall and having its upper and formed with a nozzle, a header receiving the nozzle of said pipe,a plurality same may be secured to the nipple of a radiator, a cone-shaped bottom wall arranged Within said cap and having its outer edge secured to the cap at a point spaced intermediate the upper and lower ends of the same, the apex of the cone-shaped bottom 1?. wall being connected to the top of the cap,
