To all wiom'z't may concern.' e Be it known that l, W/,rLLrA-M GSMWE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicagmin the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented new and useful lmprovements in Autographic Registers; and I do declare the followin to be' a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to vmake and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters and figures ofireference marked thereon, which form a part of this speciiication.
My invention relates to improvements 1n autographic registers of the type in which sliding means is employed for feeding out forms in a horizontal plane, an object being to provide a register of this character which may be readily operated when inserted in a desk so as to be iiush therewith.
A further object is to provide a register capable of feedin out the various lengths of forms ordinari y Vemployed in these ma# chines.
A further object is to provide a register with feeding teeth of s uchvproportions, and
an anti-friction roll mounting of such con'- struction, as to preclude the possibility of hole tearing in feeding out perforated forms.
A further object is to provide a register with teeth mounted to move substantially horizontally and vertically for feeding out and alining perforated forms, respectively.
A further object is to provide a register with form feeding andk alining teeth projecting from a reciprocatingsevering blade in such a manner as to readily release forms when fed out thereby.
A further object 1s to provide a register with a reciprocating severing blade having feeding teeth depending therefrom in normal engagement with the holes of perforated lforms for resisting the pull incidentto severance.
A further object is to provide a 'register with a reciprocating severing blade having teeth for engaging and feeding out perfo'- rated forms in "a straight line, and withmeans for so manipulating said blade that4 the teeth thereof will enter the holes of succeeding forms and effect registration thereof. l

With these objects in view my invention consists in thev novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts, 'all as will be described hereinafterand more particularly pointed out in the appended claims..
An embodiment of my invention is shown in the accompanying drawing forming a 'part ofthis specification, and in which FigA ure 1 is a perspective view of the register fed out thereby. F ig. 2 is a perspective view of said feeder. Fig. 3 is a vertical longitudinal showing by dotted. lines a feeder and forms section taken through the register showing roll mounting means. The preferred form of construction as shown in the drawing'comprises side frames l having bearings 2 formed integral therewith for the reception of journals 3. These journals are adapted to roll along guide the insertion of the paper formed integral with plugs 5 inserted in pasteboard roll cores 6. The curvature of bearings 2 ris such as to permit rolls 7 to move bodily a short distance to the rear in case of a sudden-pull on the perforated forms 8 during theA initial feeding thereof.
