WRINKLE REMOVER.
APPLICATION FILED FEB. 24, 1920.

. UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
MARIE LOUISE BOISVER'I, NE'E mm). or monwanAn -ounimc, CANADA.
WRINKLE-REMOVER.
Specification of Letters Patent. Patented O t 19 1920 Application filed February 24. 1920.1 Serial No. 360,808.
To aZZ wh.0m-z't may concern:
Be it known that I, MARIE LOUISE BOIS- VERT, ne PINARD, residing at 17 8 Pare Lafontaine, in the city ofMontreal, in the Province of Quebec, in the Dominion of Canada, have invented certain new'and useobject ofthis invention is to provide a 'de-.
vice of this character that will be invisible being concealed in the hair of, the wearer as well as being so adapted that it will draw upwardly a fallen facial, thus removing the wrinkles, without any inconvenience whatever to the user. I
A further object is to provide a device of this character cheap to manufacture, light and particularly easy to apply.
Another object is to provide a device of this character with a buckle and eyelets on the head tapes so that the invention may be easily adjusted to the head.
The invention will be better understood with the aid of the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the.invention, illustrating the buckle and eyelets and hooks forming part of said invention. 7,
Fig. 2 is an illustration of the head of a woman showing how the invention is applied thereto.
Fig. 3 is a plan view in perspective of the buckle locking member.
Fig. 4 is .a perspective view of the frameof the buckle.
Like numerals of reference indicate corresponding parts in each figure.
In the drawings 1 are rectangular pads preferably made of rubber having a surface 2 on which is applied any suitable adhesive composition.
Each of said-pads 1 at their upper edge are provided with two slots 3 through which pass the small tapes 4 and 5 respectively,
Both ends of the tapes 4 are rigidly secured to the large tapes 6 while the tapes 5 have oneend rigidly secured to the said tapes 6,
the other end passing through the slot 3,, and being provided at its free end 7 with a hook 8 which can be conveniently adjusted by means of the eyelets 9 provided on the tapes 6. Intermediate of said tapes 6 is a buckle10'having an horizontal opening 11 and transverse slot 12. The.tapes 6 are madeto pass through the openings 11 and the slot 12, but it is to be noted that they. are previously folded. In the loops'13 provided by the folded tapes 6 after they have been properly arranged in the. buckle, the locking member 14 is then inserted in said loops so as to lock the tapes after they have been conveniently adjusted. The buckle has the property of not allowing the tapes 6 to loosen after they have been adjusted, uniessfihelocking member is. pulled out of the no e.
Secured under said tapes 6 and under the eyelets 9 are strips 15 to prevent the scalp from coming into contact with the metal eyelets. Itv will readily be seen .that when a. suitable adhesive composition is applied on the surface 2 of the pads 1, the devicev is then made to pass over the top of the head,
and the pads l are made to adhere to the temples. It is then adjusted over the head I by pulling on the ends of the tapes6, and
then, by the tapes 5 by means of the hooks 8 and the eyelets 9 on the large tapes 6; When the device has been'properly adjusted the hair may becombed as usual, thus covering the device and rendering it completely invisible.
What I claim as my invention is 1. A wrinkle remover of the character described comprising. a pair of pads of any suitable material provided with an adhesive surface, two relatively large tapes each 'provided with a plurality of eyelets, a buckle adapted to secure said tapes together, a
small tape secured at each end of said large tape adjoining one edge thereof and adapted to engage adjacent an end of each of said I pads, another small tape adapted to engage each of said pads adjacent their other ends provided with a .hook adapted to engage said eyelets whereby said pads can be adjusted substantially as described.
2. A wrinkle remover of the character described comprising a pair of pads of any suitable material provided with an adhesive surface, two relatively large tapes each provided with a plurality of eyelets suitably distanced from one apother. a buckle comprising a hollow member having a transverse slot therein adapted to receive the folded free ends of the large tapes, locking member adapted to engage the folded ends of said tapes, a small tape secured at each h end of said large tape adjacent one edge thereof and adapted to engage adjacent one end of said pads,'another small tapeadapted to engage each of said lugs adjacent their otherends provided with a hook adapted to engage said eyelets in said large tapes whereby said pads can be adjusted substantially as described.
3. A wrinkle remover, in combination with the securing tapes, a buckle comprising a hollow member having a transverseslot on one side thereof, said securing tapes bein adapted to pass through said hollow mem er entering from each end thereof and projectin through said transverse slot 15 MARIE LOUISEBOISVERT, NEE PINARD.
