In a later type developedto overcome this objection, theitracks lwereplaced outside of ,y the doorway and atan angle to the doors i in their closed position so that they` could f be, opened,folded 4and swung entirely out-- side of the doorway.` This type is open to the very serious objection that the position of the outer end of the tracks has to be carefully adjusted for different thicknesses of Y doors, or the number of the leaves of the door, or for varying positions to which the folded and open doors are iinally swung.

To brace the transverse track 31, I ,form on the upper end of the' web 32 the offset eye 34 lthrough which passes the braceV rod or bolt 35, the lower end of whichpasses through an aperture in the twisted an-d turned up end 36 ofthe transverse track 31 and is secured thereto by a nut.
VThe operation of my improved. support will be readily apparent. When the doors are closed, the tracks 23 are in the full line position shown parallel to the closed'doors, and as the doors are opened and folded the hangers 20 run out in the tracks 23, which swing out Vto the dotted line position shown in Fig. 2, and which position will be just as far as is necessary to accommodate the opened and folded doors, irrespective of their thickness, the number of leaves or the A position to which they are moved, To illustrate this, the door on the right hand side of Fig. 2 is shown as opened less than the door on the yleft hand side with the result that the cooperating track 23 is not swung out so far as is the track 23 on the other side. lhen thedoors are closed, the tracks swing backto their' normal parallel position, and it will be obvious that in equipping` folding doors with these supports, it is not neces.- sary to supply various sizes of the transverse tracks or make any adjustment therein, as all that is necessary is to mount the invention as embodied in the Vform which lV v at present consider best adapted to carry out its purpose, it will be understood that it is capable of modifications, and that do not y desire Vto be limited in the interpretation of the following claims except as may be necessitated by the state Vof the prior art." the combination with a hanger secured to a door, of a horizontal track thereforrpivctally supported at its inner end, an antifriction roller journaled on the outer end of said-track, a curved transverse track upon which the roller runs as the horizontal track swings outward wnen the door is folded and opened, and a flange projecting` from the outer end of the horizontal track beneath the transverse track.
