With the above construction the window light may be quickly installed and the one piece metal frame 15 produces a neat and ornamental appearance to the window and may be easily secured to the frame. v lWhat l claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is: i

1. ln an automobile curtain window, the combination, with a wooden frame having a visional opening and an outside fabric with an inner fabric lining attached to said frame, ofa marginal metal frame having a continuous inwardly proj ecting Harige forming a continuous metal frame lining for the visional opening, a transparent member inclosed within the limits of the flange and having its outer surface engaging the inner securing the marginal frame to the wooden frame, and an inner retainer member secured to the frame within the opening and engaging the inside of said transparent member.
