As many sections2 may be employed as required for surrounding the particular pail or receptacle, and it will be seen that the clamping band is thus adaptable to pails of varying sizes within quite a wide range. Each section 2 is provided with a caster bracket supplied with a caster 6 so that when the sections are connected to form a complete band and are tightened about a pail by drawing up on the nuts 5., the pail clamped within'the sections will be supported on casters and thus rendered easy to move about the floor. Each of the caster brackets may consist of a strap bent into U-. The object in view is the provision of an adjustable carriage or support for a pai shape, as indicated at 7, with the intermedlate portion of the U riveted or otherwise fixed to the section 2, andthe outstanding arms of the U apertured to form verticallyalined bearings for the shank or shaft clamping band.

It has been proposed to supply scrubbing pails with mop wringers or wringing apparatus provided with foot levers, and I find it desirable with some of such levers which extendbeyond the pail to provide means for steadying the pail, and in the present construction I employ a caster bracket of somewhat modified. form from that above described, consisting of a strap formed'into a horizontal portion 12, an upright portion 13, an upper horizontaYportion 14, and an inclined portion 15 connecting the upper horizontal portion 14 with the outer end of the lower horizontal portion 12, the inclined portion being formed with a horizontal offsettoward its lower portion. A caster 16 has its shank journaled in the outer part of the horizontal portion 12 and in the offset of portion 15. The upright portion 13 extends from the inner end of horizontal portion 12 and .is formed with an inwardly extending hook 17 spaced above the horizontal portion 12 a distance proportionate to the height required accordingto the form of the other caster brackets employed. It is to be observed that regardless of the size of the receptacle to which the clamping band may be applied, each section of the band will contribute a support in the form of a caster, so that when the band is in place on any given receptacle, the receptacle is adequately supported whether three sections have been employed or a much greater number, the points of support being increased in number proportionately to the number of sections employed and consequentlyproportionately to the size of the receptacle to be sustained. Each section 2 consists of a strip, preferably of strap metal, and each section may be considered an article of manufacture in itself, and when so considered, to .be complete should be provided with the caster bracket or its equivalentand in most instances with the hook.

4. The combination with a pail, of a caster bracket outstanding therefrom, a caster journaled in the outstanding portion of the bracket, a rod connected to the of engagement with the upper portion, of the pail, and

means connected with and extending below the bracket adapted to engage the lower portion of the pail for connecting the bracket thereto.
