In the drawings v Figure 1 is a front elevation of the rack, F Fig. 2 is a section taken on line 2--2 of F h ig. 3 is a section taken on line 33 of Fig. dis asection taken on line of Fig.1,
Fig. 5 isa detail perspective view of one of the scissor supporting brackets.
By referring to the drawings, it will be seen that 1 designates the supporting board which is provided with suitable apertures 2 for permitting a securing means to pass therethrough.
A pinv cushion 3 is carried upon the supporting board or plate 1 and a tray 4 is carried upon the supporting board 1 to one side supported This tray 4 is provided with a central partition 6 for dividing the tray 4 into abu-tton containing compartment 8. A shelf 9 is supported below the tray 4 by means of a bracket 10 and this shelf 9 is adapted to constitute an efficient support for a thimble or other article used in sewing, when the same is not in use.
A darning needle supporting rack 11 is carried upon the supporting board or plate 1 and is engaged and supported by a bracket 12. This darning needle supporting rack 11 is provided with a plurality of apertures 13 adapted to extend through an apertured post 22.

A pair-of scissor sup-porting brackets 15 are secured to the supporting board or plate hese racks are substantially U-shaped in cross section and are struck from a single sheet of metal having a laterally extending tongue 16 struck therefrom which tongue 16 1s adaptedto extend into the supporting board or plate 1 as shown clearly in Fig. 2 of the drawing. Thescissors are adapted to be placed within the scissor supporting bracket 15, by having the respective ends fitting or resting within the respective brackets 15.
