in the county have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Draft-Yokes for Railway-Car Drafflitigging, of which the following is a full, clear, concise, and exact description, reference being had to the ac companying drawings, forming a part of this specification.

My invention relates to improvements in draft yokes for railway car draft rigging.

The object of my invention is to provide an eflicient draft yoke which may be readily gonnected to, and disconnected from, a. draw- In the specification, partly Chicago,

Referring to the drawings, the numeral indicates the upper limb, 7 the lower limb and 8 the rear connecting member of the draft yoke. At its forward end the yoke is provided with a hollow head to receive the draw bar 9. the said draw car being provided with the usual upper and lower shoulders 10 and 11, respectively. I claim:

1. In a draft yoke for railway car draft 1 rigg1ng, a gib adapted to engage a shoulder upon a draw bar, a swinging latch secured thereto and having a gib to engage another shoulder on a draw bar, the said latch having an arm to receive a tool, whereby the latch may be swung into looking, or unflocking, 'position in reference to the draw ar.
