To the attainment of these ends and the accomplishment of other new and useful objects, as will appear, the invention consists in the features of novelty in substan-` tially the construction, combination and arrangement of the several parts, hereinafter more fully described and claimed and shown in the accompanying drawing, illustrating the invention and in which:

The casing is constructed of a single of sheet material bent into shape to the side walls 10, 11 and end wall 12, and the edges of the side walls 10 and lllare delected laterally as at 13, and 14.:v toward each other, and the extremities of these delected portions are then bent to form the spaced substantially parallel ortions 15, 16 to constitute spring members etween which members or4 portions 15, 16, a member 17 projects, and this member is pivotally connected to the portions 15 by means of a suitable pivot pin 18.

piece y orm The portions l5, 16 are provided with transverse recesses 19. which open inwardly toward the space-between the portions 15, 16 and the member 17 is provided with a rib 20, which is adapted to enter the recess 19 to hold the member 17 in its folded or unfolded positions. Supported by the member 17 are comb teeth 21 and a brush 22 may also be supported by the member, the comb and brush being adapted to be folded into the casing, as shown more clearly in Fig. 4.

The casing may be of any desired size and configuration to form a housing for the elements 21, 22 and in order to move the member 17 about its pivot, there is provided a projection 23 connected with the member 17 which acts as a linger hold.

In order to properly position the comb or the brush with respect to the casing in order that they may be used, and to llmit the movement ofthe member 17 about its pivot in one direction, there is Provided a stop 24 which is formed from a portion of one of the portions 15, 16 and extends transversely of the space between the portions 15, 16 in a position that a shoulder 25 on the member 17 will abut thereagainst at the same time that the rib 20 enters the recess 19.

The portions 15, 16 being elastic or springy, will hold the brush or comb in position and will yield to permit the member 17 to be moved about its pvot to fold or unfold the article.

Pivotally connected with one of the side walls, preferably the wall 11, is a toilet implement 26, adapted to be moved about the pivot 30 into and out of the casing.

`A button hook 31 is also pivotally connected as at 32 to the side wall 10 of the casing so as to fold into and out of the casing, and the side wall 10 may be notched or recessed as at 32 to assist in unfolding the implement. A similar recess may be provided on the other side of the casing to assist in manipulating the implement 27. The end wall 12 ofthe casing at the top thereof and adjacent the side walls 11, 12 is notched or recessed as at 33, 34 and these recesses are adapted to respectively receive the implements 27, 31 when the latter are unfolded, and renders it possible to position these implements properly when desired forV Y use.

A mirror 35 may be secured to the outer face of one of theside members 10, 11 by cutting out portions of said member to form l clips adapted -to be bent over the edges of the mirror as at 35, and the projection 23 may beprovided with an aperture ,or opening 36 for the reception of a chain or the like. With this improved construction it will be manifest that a very compact; structure is provided and thatv several. implements, necessary for toilet purposes, have been combined into one simple structure, of such a size that the implements may be'unfolded when desired for use and folded within the casing when the device is not in use. e Obviously the'casing may be constructed of any suitable sheet material. What is claimed as new is: Y l. A foldable toilet article comprising a casing embodying spaced 'members .con-

nected at one edge, the opposite edges of the members being deiected toward each other and then laterally with respect to the deflected portions to form spaced substantially parallel spring portions, a member having a p ortion projecting between said spring portions, a fastening device passing' through the last recitedmember and engag-' ing the said spring portions to form a lpivot for the former, whereby the member maybe tions to form a 'stop' to limit the movement` ofthe pivoted member about its pivot in one direction.

A foldable toilet article embodying a casing constructedfrom a single piece of sheet material bent tovform a casing having spaced side walls and an end wall, the edges of the said side walls opposite to the end wall being deiiected toward and terminatshort of each other and then-bent lateral y to form spaced substantially parallel rspring portions, a member projecting between said spring portions and connected with the casing for folding and unfolding pivotal movement with respect thereto, co-` operating means on the member and one of the said spring portions adjacent the pivot of the folding member for holding` the member in its folded and unfolded positions, and a stop projecting transversely of the space between the said spring portions to form an abutment for limiting the pivotal movement of the member in one direction.
