The edges of the slits are overlapped, that is the sides of the back flap overlap the small inner side flaps as at e and e, so as not to expose the body of the wearer when the back flap is in its closed position. The edges of the respective flaps are finished in the usual Way.

At the rear of the garment substantially at the Waist line thereof, and along the lower edge of the back flap, is secured a belt or band portion 1') which may be made of the same material as the garment or other suitable material. By reason of the series of fasteners provided in the belt portion or waist band. the position of the garment may be adjusted to suit the necessities of the wearer.

While I have shown buttons on one portionof the garment and buttouholes on the j other, it is evident that the position of the two may be reversed, and that other suitable fastening, means may be employed for f the buttons and buttonholes.

By the constructiondisclosed, a garment is provided which is substantially integral in the rear, the back opening bein above the waist line, there being no seat flap, the

seat portion being integral with the hip and front body portions.

I have illustrated and described the embodiment of my invention which I believe to be the one best subservingz the object which I have in View, nevertheless the invention is not restricted in details except as these are definitely expressed in the olaims.

Having now described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is- 1. In a combination-garment comprising: a substantially integral front body portion, leg portions seat and hip portions and upper back portions, the central back portion consisting of a flap which overlaps at its the scat portion. a belt or band portion along the lower edge of the back flap and means for detachy securing: the lower part of the back flap to the back and sides of the garment sul'istuntially at the waist line thereof.
