To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Josnrn W. Lorns, a citizen of the United States, residing at Salinas, in the county of Monterey and State of California, have invented new and useful Improvements in Book-Marks, of whichnthe following is a specification.

This invention relates to book marks, and more particularly to the type of bookmarks having means for indicating the particular line on the page where the reading isdiscontinued or to which it is desired for any reason to call the readers attention.

The rincipal object of my invention is to pro uce a book mark havin the above characteristics which is of sim e construction and can be cheaply manuFactured.

With this and other objects in view which will be apparent I will now proceed to describe my invention in connection with the accompanying drawings, in which:
