Abstract

A method of postoperative analgesia involves anesthetic management and surgical treatment. At the stage of closure of the wound between the muscle layer and the aponeurosis, an epidural catheter is introduced in a patient, the catheter tip is located in the muscular layer 2-3 cm below the "middle of the wound", the back end thereof is inserted via subcutaneous fat in the skin, 4-5 cm above the top edge of the wound, and with the catheter fixed on the skin with a sterile bandage, a wound is sutured in layers.
