A method for predicting fracture healing comprises clinical examination, radiography, detection of genetic polymorphism of eNOS Τ 786 and measurement of IL-6, TGF-β1 levels; the fracture healing may be predicted at heterozygous carrier status of 786-TC and IL-6 level of 3.3-8.8 ng/l and TGF-β1 level of 17-25 ng/ml.
