Abstract

The invention relates to the inactivation of viruses in the production of immunoglobulins, in particular, of G fraction. A method includes treatment of the immunoglobulin solution, isolated by alcohol fractionation and treatment with the solvent-detergent mixture. The treated immunoglobulin is immobilized on the sulfopropyl-cationite sorbent, and two-stage washing is performed by means of the column chromatography followed by elution. At the first stage of washing the acetate buffer solution is used, which contains the sodium octanoate, sodium chloride and propylene glycol, and at the second stage the acetate buffer solution is used. The method provides high efficiency in the elimination and inactivation of viruses, which increases viral safety of the immunoglobulin preparations.
