Abstract
An ultrasonic installation for nonchemical disinfection of water by cavitation consists of a cylindrical tank that holds the upper cylindrical section with a lid equipped with a central inlet pipe with a plug valve, and the lower cylindrical section with a bottom mounted on shock absorbers and equipped with a central outlet pipe with a plug valve, between which by means of circular shock-absorbing and sealing gaskets the main membrane is horizontally installed with holes along the periphery, on which from the upper side a hemispherical membrane with holes along the periphery is rigidly and centrally mounted, to the lower part of which a magnetostrictive transducer is similarly attached, and from the upper side a funnel-shaped concentrator is similarly secured, between which the holes are located along the perimeter of a magnetostrictive transducer, and under it additional membranes, the odd of them are equipped with a central opening, and even membranes - with holes on the periphery, and between the holes a hollow conical concentrator is fixed with a stepped outer surface, in each of which concentrators with holes secured by a nut are rigidly and horizontally mounted.
