Abstract
Vertical continuously working coke oven comprises a thermal treatment box with zones of thermal shock, coking and calcinations and side vertical one-side projection in zones of coking and calcination, two sloped channels for discharge of gaseous chemical coking products from thermal treatment box, communicating with the box from the side of its projection, heating piers, equipped with horizontal heating flues, vertical collector channels for discharge of combustion products, arranged at the side of of the projection of the thermal treatment box at both sides thereof. For yield increasing and improving of quality of coal-tar resin with retention of coke high quality, the oven is equipped with two vertical channels, arranged at the side of the projection of the thermal treatment box at both sides thereof.
