Abstract

This invention is a rotating structure for a center island tea table, which includes a table body and a shaft. The bottom of the table body is provided with a shaft fitting hole, which can be rotatably fitted onto the shaft. The shaft is fixed to the ground to form a rotatable support structure, so that the table body can rotate in place. The table body can also be spliced with other table tops to expand the usable area, thereby increasing convenience and increasing flexible usability.

Description

Island tea table rotating structure

This work is about a rotating structure for a center island tea table, specifically the technology involved in rotating tabletop structures.

Existing island tables are mostly fixed designs, positioned in the center of a kitchen or open space for dining, preparing meals, or socializing. However, these tables are limited by length and space, typically accommodating only a fixed number of people. This makes them difficult to adapt to changes in family size or for occasional guests, resulting in limited flexibility and inconvenience.

Furthermore, traditional island tables are often made of heavy materials, resulting in a stable structure but a bulky and heavy design. This makes them difficult to rotate or adjust, further limiting their ability to be configured in different directions or extended for use. Therefore, improvements are still needed.

This design was inspired by the fact that island tables lack flexibility and convenience, and features a rotating structure for the island tea table.

The primary purpose of this invention is to provide a rotating structure for a center island tea table, comprising: a table body comprising a tabletop and a base, the base having a shaft engagement hole and a plurality of casters disposed on the bottom of the base; and a shaft having a sleeve section and a fixed section. The fixed section of the shaft is positioned on the ground, and the shaft engagement hole of the base engages with the sleeve section, allowing the table body to rotate relative to the shaft.

In a preferred embodiment, the sleeve section of the shaft column is provided with several supporting cylinders, enabling point contact with the bottom surface of the table. This not only reduces contact friction, but also helps to reduce material usage and structural costs, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

In a preferred embodiment, the several supporting cylinders provided on the sleeve section of the shaft column can rotate about their own axes, thereby reducing friction when the table rotates, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

In a preferred embodiment, several fixing elements are provided around the shaft engagement hole of the table body. The fixing elements provided in the shaft engagement hole are engaged with the sleeve portion of the shaft body, thereby securing the table body and enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

In a preferred embodiment, the shaft is provided with a through-hole inside, allowing wires, water pipes, etc. to pass from below into the interior of the table, thus providing the structure with space for wiring, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

In a preferred embodiment, the table body further includes a foldable tabletop portion, wherein the foldable tabletop portion is disposed on a side of the table body and is provided with at least one support leg. The foldable tabletop portion extends from the side of the table body to enhance the multi-functionality of the invention.

In a preferred embodiment, the table is provided with a receiving groove, and the receiving groove is provided with a light strip to increase the illumination and aesthetics of the table, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this creation.

The table is secured to the shaft, with casters on the base to facilitate angle adjustment and positioning. The shaft's mounting holes are embedded in the shaft, creating a stable support center that allows the table to rotate 360 degrees in place. As more users join, the table can be positioned at different angles and connected to other tabletops to expand the usable area, eliminating the problem of lack of seating for users and increasing convenience and flexibility.

To help the Review Board better understand the structure, features, and other purposes of this invention, the following preferred embodiments are described in detail with accompanying drawings. However, the embodiments described in these drawings are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to be the sole limitations of the patent application.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 3, which illustrate the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention in its assembled, disassembled, and side views. The table comprises: a table body 10 comprising a tabletop 11 and a base 12. The base 12 has a shaft engagement hole 120, and casters 121 disposed on the bottom of the base 12; and a shaft 20 comprising a sleeve section 21 and a fixed section 22. The fixed section 22 of the shaft 20 is positioned on the ground, and the shaft engagement hole 120 of the base 12 engages with the sleeve section 21 of the shaft 20, allowing the table body 10 to rotate relative to the shaft 20.

By combining the above structures, the rotating structure of the island tea table in this creation is completed.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 4, which are the reference diagrams of the three-dimensional assembly state, three-dimensional decomposition state, side cross-section state and rotational motion state of the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention. By matching a table body 10 and a shaft column 20, the table body 10 is fixed on the shaft column 20. The base portion 12 of the table body 10 is provided with several casters 121 to assist in angle adjustment and displacement positioning. The table 10's shaft engagement hole 120 is embedded in the shaft 20, forming a stable support center. This allows the table 10 to rotate 360 degrees in place. As the household grows or guests arrive, the table can be positioned at different angles and connected to other tabletops to expand the usable area, overcoming the problem of lack of seating for others and increasing convenience and flexibility.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 4, which illustrate the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention in its assembled, disassembled, side-view, and rotating states. In a preferred embodiment, the sleeve section 21 of the shaft 20 is provided with several supporting cylinders 210, which form point contact with the bottom surface of the table. This not only reduces contact friction, but also helps reduce material usage and structural costs, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 4, which illustrate the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention in its assembled, disassembled, side-view, and rotating states. In a preferred embodiment, the several supporting cylinders 210 provided on the sleeve section 21 of the shaft column 20 can rotate about their own axes, reducing friction during the rotation of the table body 10 and enhancing the multifunctionality of this invention.

Please refer to Figure 5, which shows the fixings of the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention being engaged with the shaft. In a preferred embodiment, several fixings 122 are provided around the shaft engagement hole 120 of the table body 10. The fixings 122 provided in the shaft engagement hole 120 engage the sleeve section 21 of the shaft body 20, thereby securing the table body 10 and enhancing the multifunctionality of this invention.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 3 and 6, which illustrate the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention in its assembled, disassembled, side cross-sectional views, and the through-hole portion housing the pipes. In a preferred embodiment, a through-hole portion 23 is provided within the cylindrical body 20, allowing wires, water pipes, etc. to pass from below into the interior of the table. This provides wiring storage space within the structure, enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

Please refer to Figure 7, which illustrates the configuration of the foldable tabletop portion of the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention. In a preferred embodiment, the table body 10 further includes a foldable tabletop portion 13, which is disposed on a side of the table body 10 and has at least one support leg 130. The foldable tabletop portion 13 extends from the side of the table body 10, thereby enhancing the multifunctionality of this invention.

Please refer to Figure 8 for a reference diagram illustrating the light strip configuration of the rotating structure of the island tea table in this invention. In a preferred embodiment, the table body 10 is provided with a receiving slot 123, which is provided with a light strip 30. This increases the illumination and aesthetics of the table body 10, thereby enhancing the multi-functionality of this invention.

In summary, this invention can indeed achieve the aforementioned functions and purposes. Therefore, this invention should meet the patent application requirements, and an application is filed in accordance with the law.

Claims (7)

A rotating structure for an island tea table comprises: a table body, wherein the table body has a table top and a base, the base is provided with a shaft engaging hole, and the bottom layer of the base is provided with several casters; and a shaft, wherein the shaft has an engaging section and a fixed section, the fixed section of the shaft is arranged on the ground, and the shaft engaging hole of the base is embedded in the engaging section of the shaft, so that the table body can rotate relative to the shaft. As described in claim 1, the rotating structure of the island tea table comprises several supporting cylinders provided on the sleeve section of the shaft column. As described in claim 2, the rotating structure of the island tea table, wherein the plurality of supporting cylinders provided on the sleeve section of the shaft column can rotate around its own axis. As described in claim 1, the rotating structure of the island tea table is provided with several fixing parts around the shaft mating hole of the table body. As described in claim 1, the island tea table rotating structure has a through-type hollow portion inside the shaft cylinder, so that the structure has a circuit accommodating space. As described in claim 1, the island tea table rotation structure, wherein the table body is further provided with a foldable table top portion, the foldable table top portion is arranged on one side of the table body, and the foldable table top portion is provided with at least one support leg so that the foldable table top portion extends to the side of the table body. As described in claim 1, the island tea table rotating structure, wherein the table body is provided with a receiving groove, and the receiving groove is provided with a light strip.
