Abstract

A computer case includes a housing, a first cover and a second cover. The housing includes a frame and a functional module. The frame has a first side and a second side adjacent to each other. The functional module has at least one functional element and is disposed on the first side of the frame. The frame has a first mounting opening next to the functional module. The second side of the frame has a second mounting opening. The shape and size of the second mounting opening are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first mounting opening. The shape and size of the second cover are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first cover and the first mounting opening. One of the first cover and the second cover covers the first mounting opening, and the other of the first cover and the second cover covers the second mounting opening.

Description

Computer cases and enclosures

The present invention relates to a computer case, in particular to a computer case with a replaceable panel.

With the continuous development of technology, users not only pursue more efficient electronic components, but also begin to pay attention to the aesthetics of the product during operation. In order to fully display the components used in the case, users will install light strips inside the case to highlight specific electronic components, such as graphics cards, fans, etc.

However, the existing computer case design is relatively fixed and rigid, and it is impossible to change the case shape according to the actual needs of the user to make it have both good viewing and heat dissipation effects. Therefore, how to design a computer case that can be adjusted according to user needs has become a problem that researchers in this field are committed to solving.

The invention provides a computer case and housing to satisfy the viewing effect required by users and have good heat dissipation effect.

The computer case disclosed in one embodiment of the present invention includes a housing, a first cover and a second cover. The housing includes a frame and a functional module. The frame has a first side and a second side adjacent to each other. The functional module has at least one functional element and is disposed on the first side of the frame. The frame has a first mounting opening next to the functional module. The second side of the frame has a second mounting opening. The shape and size of the second mounting opening are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first mounting opening. The shape and size of the second cover are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first cover and the first mounting opening. One of the first cover and the second cover covers the first mounting opening, and the other of the first cover and the second cover covers the second mounting opening.

Another embodiment of the present invention discloses a box including a frame and a functional module. The frame has a first side and a second side adjacent to each other. The functional module has at least one functional element and is disposed on the first side of the frame. The frame has a first mounting opening next to the functional module. The second side of the frame has a second mounting opening. The shape and size of the second mounting opening are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first mounting opening.

According to the computer case and housing of the above-mentioned embodiment, the first mounting port, the second mounting port, the first cover and the second cover are substantially the same in shape and size, so that the user can swap the first cover and the second cover according to the use requirements, so as to achieve the viewing effect required by the user and have a good heat dissipation effect.

In this embodiment, the computer case 10 includes a housing 100, a first cover 200 and a second cover 300. The housing 100 includes a frame 110 and a functional module 120. The frame 110 has a first side 1101 and a second side 1102 adjacent to each other. The frame 110 has a first mounting opening 111 located next to the functional module 120. In other words, the frame 110 and the functional module 120 together surround the first mounting opening 111. The first cover 200, for example, covers the first mounting opening 111. The second side 1102 of the frame 110 has a second mounting opening 112. The second cover 300, for example, covers the second mounting opening 112. The shape and size of the second mounting opening 112 are substantially the same as those of the first mounting opening 111. The shape and size of the second covering member 300 are substantially the same as those of the first covering member 200 and the first mounting opening 111. The so-called substantially the same means the same or similar.

The functional module 120 has a plurality of functional elements 121 and is disposed on the first side 1101 of the frame 110. These functional elements 121 may be, for example but not limited to, a power switch button, a light adjustment button, a universal serial bus port or an audio port, etc.

In this embodiment, the first covering member 200 covers the first mounting port 111, and the second covering member 300 covers the second mounting port 112, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the first covering member may also cover the second mounting port, and the second covering member may also cover the first mounting port.

In this embodiment, since the shape and size of the second cover 300 are substantially the same as the shape and size of the first cover 200 and the first mounting port 111, the following description will only take the first cover 200 as an example. The first cover 200 includes a curved portion 210, a flat portion 220 and a notch 230. The curved portion 210 and the notch 230 are connected to different sides of the flat portion 220. The shape of the notch 230 complements the shape of the functional module 120.

In this embodiment, the frame 110 has a third side 1103. The third side 1103 is opposite to the second side 1102, and the second side 1102 and the third side 1103 are respectively connected to the opposite sides of the first side 1101. The computer case 10 may also include a third cover 400. The third cover 400 is disposed on the third side 1103 of the frame.

In this embodiment, the case 100 may also include a fourth cover 130. The fourth cover 130 includes a protrusion 131 and a plate portion 132. The plate portion 132 is connected to the protrusion 131 and has a plurality of vents 1321. The vents 1321 can improve the heat dissipation effect of the computer case 10. The fourth cover 130 is disposed on the second side 1102 of the frame and is adjacent to the second cover 300. The shape of the protrusion 131 complements the shape of the notch 330 of the second cover 300. The fourth cover 130 and the frame 110 together surround the second mounting opening 112.

In this embodiment, the material of the first cover 200, the second cover 300 and the third cover 400 is, for example, glass, but not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the material of the first cover, the second cover and the third cover may also be a light-transmissive material such as acrylic or a light-opaque material such as metal.

In this embodiment, the number of functional elements 121 is multiple, but not limited to this. In other embodiments, the number of functional elements may also be only one.

In this embodiment, the first cover member 200 and the second cover member 300 are, for example, solid cover plates, but are not limited thereto. In other embodiments, please refer to FIG. 4. FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a computer case disclosed according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

The computer case 10A of this embodiment is similar to the computer case 10 of the first embodiment, so the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment will be described below, and the similarities will not be repeated. In the computer case 10A of this embodiment, the second cover 300A is made of an opaque material such as metal, and the flat plate portion 320A of the second cover 300A has a plurality of ventilation holes 320A1, so that the heat dissipation effect of the computer case 10A can be improved.

In this embodiment, the material of the first cover 200 is glass, the second cover 300A is a light-proof material such as metal, and the flat plate portion 320A of the second cover 300A has a plurality of ventilation holes 320A1, but this is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the material of the first cover may also be a light-proof material such as metal, the second cover may also be glass, and the flat plate portion of the first cover may also have a plurality of ventilation holes.

The first cover 200 and the second cover 300 and the first cover 200 and the second cover 300A in the above embodiment are of the same type, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the first cover and the second cover may also be of any of the above types. For example, the first cover may be a cover with ventilation holes, and the second cover may be a glass cover. In this way, it is possible to have both aesthetics and good heat dissipation effect.

According to the computer case and housing of the above-mentioned embodiment, the first mounting port, the second mounting port, the first cover and the second cover are substantially the same in shape and size, so that the user can swap the first cover and the second cover according to the use requirements. For example, when the first cover is a cover with vents and the second cover is a glass cover, the user can swap the first cover with the second cover according to the actual fan heat dissipation path to achieve the viewing effect required by the user and a good heat dissipation effect.

Claims (11)

A computer case, comprising: A box, comprising a frame and a functional module, the frame having a first side and a second side adjacent to each other, the functional module having at least one functional element and arranged on the first side of the frame, the frame having a first mounting opening next to the functional module, the second side of the frame having a second mounting opening, the shape and size of the second mounting opening being substantially the same as the shape and size of the first mounting opening; and a first covering member and a second covering member, the shape and size of the second covering member being substantially the same as the shape and size of the first covering member and the first mounting opening, one of the first covering member and the second covering member covering the first mounting opening, and the other of the first covering member and the second covering member covering the second mounting opening. The computer case as described in claim 1, wherein the first cover member and the second cover member each include a bent portion, a flat portion and a notch portion, the bent portion and the notch portion are connected to different sides of the flat portion, and the shape of the notch portion complements the shape of the functional module. The computer case as described in claim 2, wherein the flat plate portion of the first covering member and the flat plate portion of the second covering member each have a plurality of ventilation holes. The computer case as described in claim 1, wherein the material of the first covering member and the second covering member is opaque or translucent material. The computer case as described in claim 1 further includes a third cover member, the frame has a third side, the third side is opposite to the second side and is connected to two different sides of the first side, and the third cover member is arranged on the third side. The computer case as described in claim 5, wherein the material of the third covering member is a light-transmissive material. A computer case as described in claim 2, wherein the case further includes a fourth covering member, the fourth covering member is disposed on the second side of the frame and is adjacent to the second covering member, and the fourth covering member and the frame together surround the second mounting opening. A computer case as described in claim 7, wherein the fourth covering member includes a protrusion and a plate portion, the protrusion is connected to the plate portion, the shape of the protrusion complements the shape of the notch portion of the second covering member, and the plate portion has a plurality of ventilation holes. A computer case as described in claim 1, wherein the at least one functional component is a power switch button, a light adjustment button, a universal serial bus port or an audio port, etc. A box comprises: a frame having a first side and a second side adjacent to each other; and a functional module having at least one functional element and arranged on the first side of the frame, the frame having a first mounting opening next to the functional module, and the second side of the frame having a second mounting opening, the shape and size of the second mounting opening being substantially the same as the shape and size of the first mounting opening. A box as described in claim 10, wherein the at least one functional element is a power switch button, a light adjustment button, a universal serial bus port or an audio port, etc.
