In summary, the connector assembly disclosed herein not only allows for serial connection of electrical signals from multiple expansion cards on multiple connectors, but also ensures structural stability for the multiple connectors within the overall connector assembly.

The snap-fit structure includes a pressing portion 143, a connecting arm 144, and a hook 145. The pressing portion 143 is disposed on a side surface of the cover body 142. The pressing portion 143 and the hook 145 are located at both ends of the connecting arm 144. In other words, the connecting arm 144 is connected between the hook 145 and the pressing portion 143. The pressing portion 143 and the hook 145 swing relative to the cover body 142. A top plate 148 covers the cover body 142. The cover body 140 may further include a partition 146 disposed between the cover body 142 and the top plate 148 to electrically isolate the bus 130A from the bus 130B. The partition 146, the cover body 142, and the top plate 148 collectively define two cavities for accommodating the bus 130A and the bus 130B, respectively. Each cavity forms an opening OA and an opening OB on the cover body 140. Specifically, the partition 146 divides the space formed by the cover body 142 and the top plate 148 into two cavities, each with an opening OA and an opening OB for heat dissipation. As shown in Figure 1 , the housing 120 and the cover body 140 are engaged with each other via the inverted hook 125 and the hook 145 , respectively. Sleeves 150A and 150B are positioned within the two cavities of the cover body 140 , respectively. Sleeves 150A and 150B penetrate the cover body 142 and the top plate 148 .

As shown in Figure 1, in this embodiment, the connector 200 includes a conductive terminal 210, a shell 220, a bus 230A, a bus 230B, a cover 240, a sleeve 250A, and a sleeve 250B. The shell 220 covers a plurality of conductive terminals 210. The shell 220 has at least one slot, and the slot is configured for insertion of the expansion card C2. The plurality of conductive terminals 210 are arranged on the circuit board PCB2, and a portion of the plurality of conductive terminals 210 is located in at least one slot to mate with the expansion card C2. The bus 230A and the bus 230B connect the plurality of conductive terminals 210. The cover 240 covers the bus 230A and the bus 230B. Sleeves 250A and 250B are connected to busbars 230A and 230B, respectively. As shown in FIG1 , housing 220 includes a hook 225. Cover 240 includes a cover body 242, a snap-fit structure, and a top plate 248. The snap-fit structure is used to snap with hook 225. The snap-fit structure includes a pressing portion 243, a connecting arm 244, and a hook 245. Pressing portion 243 is disposed on a side surface of cover body 242. Pressing portion 243 and hook 245 are located at both ends of connecting arm 244. In other words, connecting arm 244 is connected between hook 245 and pressing portion 243. The pressing portion 243 and the hook 245 swing relative to the cover body 242. The top plate 248 covers the cover body 242. The cover body 240 may further include a partition 246 disposed between the cover body 242 and the top plate 248 to electrically isolate the bus 130A from the bus 130B. The partition 246, the cover body 242, and the top plate 248 collectively define two cavities for accommodating the bus 230A and the bus 230B, respectively. Each cavity forms an opening OA and an opening OB on the cover body 240. Specifically, the partition 246 divides the space formed by the cover body 242 and the top plate 248 into two cavities, each having an opening OA and an opening OB for heat dissipation. As shown in Figure 1, the housing 220 and the cover 240 are engaged with each other via the hook 225 and the hook 245, respectively. As shown in FIG. 4 , the fixed conductive terminal 110A and the suspended conductive terminal 110B are substantially conformal. The difference between the fixed conductive terminal 110A and the suspended conductive terminal 110B is that the fixed conductive terminal 110A further includes solder pins 114, which are connected to the fixed structure 113. The fixed conductive terminal 110A can be integrally formed, and the first end 111A, the second end 112A, the fixed portion 113A, and the soldering pin 114 are located on the same plane. The first end 111A and the second end 112A define a first recess T1 and a second recess T2, respectively. The fixed conductive terminal 110A is soldered to the circuit board PCB1 via the soldering pin 114. The suspended conductive terminal 110B includes a first end 111B, a second end 112B, and a fixed portion 113B. The suspended conductive terminal 110B can be integrally formed, with the first end 111B, second end 112B, and fixed portion 113B located on the same plane. The first end 111B and second end 112B define a first recess T1 and a second recess T2, respectively. The fixed conductive terminal 110A and the suspended conductive terminal 110B are secured to each other by riveting the fixed portion 113A and the fixed portion 113B, respectively. The connector 300 is disposed on the circuit board PCB1. The connector 300 is configured for insertion of the expansion card C1. The latch 360A and the latch 360B pass through the connector 300. The connector 300 includes a conductive terminal 310, a housing 320, a bus 330A, a bus 330B, a cover 340, a sleeve 350A, and a sleeve 350B. The connector 300 is disposed on the circuit board PCB1. Housing 320 encloses a plurality of conductive terminals 310. Housing 320 is configured for insertion of expansion card C1. Buses 330A and 330B connect to the plurality of conductive terminals 310. Cover 340 covers at least a portion of buses 330A and 330B, i.e., buses 330A and 330B extend a considerable distance rearward (direction Y). Sleeves 350A and 350B connect to one end of buses 330A and 330B, respectively (including the portion exposed from cover 340). Through this structural design, the sizes of sleeves 350A and 350B are larger than those of sleeves 150A and 150B in the above-mentioned embodiment, thereby improving the maximum current conducting capacity. As shown in Figure 10, the housing 320 includes a hook 325. The cover 340 includes a cover body 342, a snap structure, and a top plate 348. The snap structure is used to snap with the hook 325. The snap structure includes a pressing portion 343, a connecting arm 344, and a hook 345. The pressing portion 343 is arranged on the side of the cover body 342. The pressing portion 343 and the hook 345 are located at both ends of the connecting arm 344. In other words, the connecting arm 344 is connected between the hook 345 and the pressing portion 343. The pressing portion 343 and the hook 345 swing relative to the cover body 342. A top plate 348 covers the cover body 342. The cover body 340 may further include a partition 346 disposed between the cover body 342 and the top plate 348 to electrically isolate the bus 330A from the bus 330B. The partition 346, the cover body 342, and the top plate 348 collectively define two cavities for accommodating the bus 330A and the bus 330B, respectively. Each cavity forms an opening OA and an opening OB on the cover body 340. Specifically, the partition 346 divides the space formed by the cover body 342 and the top plate 348 into two cavities, each with an opening OA and an opening OB for heat dissipation. As shown in Figure 1 , the housing 320 and the cover 340 are engaged with each other via a hook 325 and a hook 345 , respectively. As shown in FIG12 , housing 420 includes a hook 425. Cover 440 includes a cover body 442, a snap-fit structure, and a top plate 448. The snap-fit structure is configured to snap onto hook 425. The snap-fit structure includes a pressing portion 443, a connecting arm 444, and a snap-fit hook 445. Pressing portion 443 is disposed on a side of cover body 442. The pressing portion 443 and the hook 445 are located at both ends of the connecting arm 444. In other words, the connecting arm 444 is connected between the hook 445 and the pressing portion 443. The pressing portion 443 and the hook 445 swing relative to the cover body 442. The top plate 448 covers the cover body 442. The cover 340 may also include a separator 446 disposed between the cover body 442 and the top plate 448 to electrically isolate the bus bars 430A and 430B. Partition 446, cover 442, and top plate 448 collectively define two cavities for accommodating bus 430A and bus 430B, respectively. Each cavity has an opening OA and an opening OB formed on cover 440. Specifically, partition 446 divides the space formed by cover 442 and top plate 448 into two cavities, each having an opening OA and an opening OB for heat dissipation. Bus 430A is separated from bus 430B by partition 446. As shown in Figure 12, housing 420 and cover 440 are engaged with each other by hook 425 and hook 445, respectively. Cable LA and cable LB are located in the two cavities of cover 440.

In the connector assembly and connector disclosed herein, because the stopper is located in the middle of the latch and has a diameter larger than the diameter of the latch, the second connector is separated from the first connector by a certain distance, thereby achieving structural stability for the first and second connectors in the connector assembly. In the connector assembly and connector disclosed herein, crown springs are wrapped around the inner surfaces of the first and second sleeves. These crown springs not only increase the contact area between the latch and the first and second sleeves, thereby meeting the requirement for high current transmission, but also provide a positive force between the latch and the first and second sleeves, thereby assisting in securing the second connector to the latch. In summary, the connector assembly disclosed herein not only allows for serial connection of electrical signals from multiple expansion cards on multiple connectors, but also ensures structural stability for the multiple connectors within the overall connector assembly.
