Abstract

Description

Method and device for providing item catalog

The present invention relates to a method and device for providing a product catalog. More specifically, it relates to a method and device for providing recommended stores and recommended products of the corresponding stores based on user information.

With the popularization of the Internet, the e-commerce and food delivery service markets are expanding. In particular, with the spread of infectious diseases, the proportion of people visiting offline restaurants has decreased, and the proportion of ordering food through food delivery service-related applications on smartphones is rapidly increasing.

In order to improve user satisfaction and promote purchases, there are cases where a service provider grasps the user's interest based on user information and provides a recommended store catalog to the user on the main screen related to the service. However, when only a recommended store catalog is provided, there is the following inconvenience: in order to purchase an item, the user needs to connect to the store details page of the corresponding store to confirm the item catalog sold by the corresponding store. If the desired item is not available, the user needs to return to the previous screen again to explore other stores.

Therefore, in order to eliminate this inconvenience, it is necessary to provide a recommended store catalog on the main screen related to the service, and also provide a catalog of items sold by the corresponding store.

The problem to be solved by the present invention is: In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a method and device are provided for simultaneously providing a user with a recommended store catalog and a corresponding store sales catalog.

In step S220, the electronic device 220 may confirm a store catalog including at least one store among a plurality of stores based on the user information. Regarding the criteria for determining the stores included in the store catalog, the present invention is not limited to the above examples, and any criteria that the user would consider when selecting a store may be applied, and a plurality of criteria may be combined to set the criteria.

Furthermore, in the step of confirming the store directory by the electronic device 220, the stores included in the store directory may be determined by further considering the location information associated with the user. For example, the store directory may include only stores located within a specified distance considering the location information associated with the user. Alternatively, the stores determined according to the above conditions may be arranged in order of distance based on the location information associated with the user, and only a portion of the arranged stores may be included in the store directory.

In one embodiment, when including stores of the same category taking into account search history information, store visit information, preferred item information, etc., the stores in the store directory may be ranked based on similarities between the stores within the category. In one embodiment, when determining the stores included in the store directory based on a plurality of criteria, the stores in the store directory may also be ranked based on a score assigned to each store taking into account weighted values set for each of the plurality of criteria. For example, the electronic device 220 may simultaneously consider other users' order quantity information during the user's service connection time and the user's store visit information to confirm the store catalog. At this time, the differently set weighted values for the other users' order quantity information and the user's store visit information may be confirmed, and when considering the corresponding weighted values, the stores are ranked based on the scores assigned to each store.

In step S230, the electronic device 220 may confirm an item catalog including at least one item currently being sold by the corresponding store for each store included in the store catalog confirmed in step S210. In one embodiment, the item catalog may be arranged based on the priority of each item in the item catalog, and may be set in a manner that includes information about only a portion of the items currently being sold by the store. In one embodiment, the above-mentioned priority may be determined based on at least one of the recommended quantity information of the item, the number of order information of the item, the priority information provided by the store operator selling the item, the order in which the corresponding item is displayed on the store details page of the store to which the item belongs, the user's purchase history information, or the user's service connection time information.

Regarding the criteria for determining the priority of items in the item catalog, the present invention is not limited to the above examples, and any criteria that the user would consider when selecting items may be applied, and multiple criteria may be combined to determine the priority. When multiple criteria are combined to determine the priority, the items in the item catalog may be arranged based on the scores corresponding to each item when considering the weighted values set for each of the multiple criteria.

In step S240, the electronic device 220 may generate a page including the store catalog confirmed in step S220 and the item catalog confirmed in step S230. In one embodiment, the above page is the page that the user first enters when executing the delivery service application. The above page may include store category information, recommended store information, recommended item information of the recommended store, store advertisements, coupon information that the user can use, etc., and may also be called a home page or a gateway page.

In one embodiment, a page may include information about each store in a store catalog. The store information may include at least one of the store's name, rating, category, location, or distance from the user. A page including a store catalog and an item catalog is described below with reference to FIG. 3 .

In step S250, the page generated in step S240 may be provided to the user terminal 210. The user may confirm the first page in the user terminal 210, and determine the item to be purchased by referring to the store catalog displayed on the first page and the item catalog provided by the corresponding store. The user may enter a page for confirming the entire store catalog displayed on the first page through user input, may select one of the store catalogs displayed on the first page to enter a store detail page, and may select one of the item catalogs to enter an item detail page. As described above, users can confirm store and item information on the main screen through other channels besides searching, thereby simplifying the user's purchase process, increasing the user's purchase desire, and improving the user's service satisfaction. The page for confirming the entire store catalog, the store detail page, and the item detail page are described below with reference to Figures 4 to 6.

In one embodiment, the first area 310 may include an area 320 for displaying information about a store, and the area 320 may include information about each store in the store catalog. The store information may include, for example, at least one of the store's name, rating, category, location, distance from the user, or a list of coupons that can be used in the corresponding store, but is not limited thereto, and may include any store information that is helpful to the user. In one embodiment, the first area 310 may include an area 330 for displaying information about an item, and the area 330 may include information about each item in the item catalog. The item information may include, for example, at least one of the item's name, image, rating, category, price, or a list of coupons that can be used for the corresponding item, but is not limited thereto, and may include any item information that is helpful to the user.

In one embodiment, on the user terminal 210, the store catalog can be formed in the form of a list listed horizontally in the first area 310, and the user can explore the stores in the store catalog by scrolling the first area 310. In one embodiment, the stores that can be explored by scrolling can be limited to a specified number (e.g., 5). That is, when the user connects to the delivery application through the user terminal 210, the first store in the store catalog and the item information in the first store can be displayed in the first area 310 on the page 300 provided to the user terminal 210. When the user scrolls the first area 310, the second store and the item information in the second store can be displayed. When the process is repeated, the information related to the third store, the fourth store, and the fifth store can be confirmed in sequence. When the user scrolls while the information related to the fifth store is displayed on the first area 310, the information of the first store can be displayed again. In this example, the case where the specified number is 5 is used as an example for explanation, but the present invention is not limited to this, and can be set to any number set by the service provider.

In one embodiment, the items in the item catalog displayed in the first area 310 in the page 300 may also be limited to a specified number (e.g., 3). In this case, the specified number may be determined in correspondence with the number of items that can be displayed on the gateway page according to the physical size of the user terminal 210. In one embodiment, the specified number of items displayed on the gateway page may be determined by considering the priority of the items in the item catalog. That is, the priority of the items may be considered and only the specified number of items with a high priority may be determined as the items displayed on the gateway page.

As described above, the priority of items can be determined based on, for example, the order quantity of the items, the rating of the items, the priority information provided by the store operator to which the items belong, the order in which the items are displayed on the store details page to which they belong, the user's service connection time, or at least one of the user's purchase history, but is not limited to these. The priority can be determined based on any information that the user will consider when selecting an item, and the priority can also be determined by selecting multiple information and based on the weighted values set for each information.

In one embodiment, when determining the specified number of items to be displayed on the gateway page, some items that meet the set conditions can be filtered and excluded from the item catalog. For example, in the case of items belonging to beverages or alcoholic beverages, items without images, or items belonging to food, they can be prevented from being displayed on the gateway page. At this time, it can be determined based on the category information stored in the database of the electronic device 220 whether the item belongs to beverages, alcoholic beverages, or food, and when the price does not reach a fixed amount, it can also be filtered in a way that it is not displayed on the gateway page.

In one embodiment, the page 300 may include a catalog refresh button 311 in the first area 310. In response to a user input to the catalog refresh button 311, the store catalog displayed in the first area 310 may be replaced with a new store catalog. In one embodiment, the number of stores included in the store catalog based on user information among a plurality of stores provided by the service provider may be limited to a specified number, and thereby the number of refreshes may also be limited to a specified number.

In one embodiment, the page 300 may include a view all catalog button 312 in the first area 310. Referring to FIG. 4 , in response to the user's input to the view all catalog button 312, a page 400 providing a complete store catalog may be entered. The page 400 providing a complete store catalog may include information of all stores included in the store catalog, and the user may explore information of each store in the store catalog by scrolling up and down. In one embodiment, the page 400 may further include a catalog of items corresponding to each store.

In one embodiment, corresponding to the user's input to the area 320 corresponding to the store information in the first area 310 of the page 300, the user can enter the store details page 500 of the corresponding store as shown in FIG. 5. The store details page 500 may include a catalog page, which includes basic guide information of the corresponding specific store and the items sold by the corresponding specific store. In addition, store details such as coupons, delivery, and reviews related to the corresponding store may be included. Referring to FIG. 5b, items 501, 502, and 503 in the item catalog can be displayed differently on the store details page 500. For example, the items 501, 502, and 503 in the item catalog can be displayed with different coarseness or different colors, and can also be displayed as emphasized. As described above, the items 501, 502, 503 in the item catalog are displayed differently on the store detail page, so that the user can find the item confirmed on the gateway page more easily and quickly.

In one embodiment, in response to the user inputting into the area 330 corresponding to the item information in the first area 310 of the page 300, the user may enter the item detail page 600 of the corresponding item as shown in FIG6 . At this time, the user may enter the item detail page 600 directly from the gateway page, or may first enter the store detail page 500 of the store that sells the corresponding item from the gateway page, and then enter the item detail page 600 after a specified time. The item details page 600 may include item information such as an image of the item, an item description, and an item price, and may include an area 610 for selecting the purchase quantity of the item, and an area 620 for adding the item to the shopping cart in order to purchase the corresponding item. As described above, the user moves to the item details page in response to the user's input corresponding to the item information confirmed on the gateway page, so that the user can more easily purchase the item confirmed on the gateway page. Claims (17)

A method for providing an item catalogue is performed by an electronic device, comprising the following steps: confirming user information corresponding to a user terminal; based on the user information, confirming a store catalogue including at least one store among a plurality of stores; for the at least one store, confirming an item catalogue including at least one item sold in the store; and providing a page including the store catalogue and the item catalogue to the user terminal; wherein the user information The information includes the user's search history information, store visit information, preferred item information, discount coupon information, service connection time information and purchase history information; wherein the store catalog is arranged based on a score determined by considering the weighted value of each of the search history information, store visit information, preferred item information, discount coupon information, service connection time information and purchase history information given to the user. As in the method for providing a product catalog of claim 1, the page includes information about each store in the store catalog, and the store information includes at least one of the store's name, rating, category, location, and distance from the user.
