Abstract

The present invention provides a song-request system with advertising effects, comprising a song-request unit and multiple user units. The user units can be connected to the song-request unit via a network. When a user unit selects a song through an input device, the song-request processing device of the song-request unit will retrieve the selected song from a song database and send the selected song and at least one corresponding advertising video to the user unit. The melody of the selected song can be played on the user unit's audio player, while the lyrics of the selected song and the advertising video can be displayed on the user unit's display. Users of the user unit can not only sing along to the selected song but also watch the corresponding advertising video on the display.
