Description
本發明關於調節植物生長的環丙烯組成物、該組成物的製備以及用此等組成物調節植物生長的方法。
眾所周知,乙烯與植物衰老和植物壓力反應有關。因此,抑制或調節乙烯產生或控制乙烯在植物中的作用的植物生長調節劑(PGR)已經開發以嘗試改善農作物的經濟產量。
在實際應用中,此等PGR可通過包括不同調配物的各種方法施用於植物。在此等各種各樣的方法之中,最常用的方法是使用液體組成物和乾燥組成物。想用的特別調配物以及在植物生長生理學上產生的效果取決大大取決於所使用的PGR、欲處理的植物物種、環境條件、地理區域以及處理當時該區域的氣候。
某些障礙使得一些PGR的實際使用在某些情況下不切實際。例如,一類乙烯抑制劑PGR是主要為氣態小分子的環丙烯。此種環丙烯PGR的其中一個例子是1-甲基環丙烯(1-MCP),其往往以與分子包埋劑形成錯合物的形式應用,作為更為便利的儲存、運輸和投遞該1-MCP於目標植物或土壤的方式。此類1-MCP錯合物與水之間的接觸會快速將1-MCP氣體從該錯合物釋放,以完成該PGR向該目標的投遞。
當含有1-MCP錯合物的濃縮調配物的使用者希望將該調配物在水中稀釋(例如在噴霧箱中)以形成水性噴霧組成物時產生了挑戰。此種水性農用化學品噴霧組成物廣泛應用於農業中,但是其等在1-MCP的表現有時會受到1-MCP錯合物在噴霧箱中暴露至水時的降解傾向的限制。此會導致效能降低,並且在噴霧箱的頂部空間積累不可接受量的1-MCP氣體。
此外,由於作物保護劑供應鏈相對複雜,此種含有濃縮物的1-MCP錯合物可能被長時期儲存,並且在其儲存及船運期間可能經受強烈的溫度變化、高剪切、重複的震動模式以及潮濕。由於例如水介導的降解以及穩定性問題,此種供應鏈條件會提高調配物失敗的可能性。
考慮到含有1-MCP錯合物的濃縮物在世界各地儲存、運送和使用之條件和特殊情形的多樣性,因此仍對於在至少某些該等條件和情形下提供穩定性優勢的1-MCP濃縮調配物有需求。對於以下具有高負載的濃縮調配物有進一步需求:當用水稀釋時在廣泛的田間條件下在一段時間內保持穩定,且其中終端用戶可控制1-MCP從濃縮物或稀釋的噴霧調配物釋放至施用部位的速率。
本發明提供穩定的液體環丙烯組成物,其包含可流動的非水性分散液濃縮物,該分散液濃縮物包含a)連續性非水性實質上與水不混溶的液相;以及b)分散的固相,該固相包含由可固化或可聚合樹脂製備的聚合物顆粒,其中該聚合物顆粒的外表面包含膠狀固體物質,且其中該聚合物顆粒含有至少一種環丙烯氣體與分佈於分散相中的分子包埋劑的固體錯合物。在一具體實例中,膠狀固體物質是以有效於在用來製備分散相的過程期間使樹脂處穩定處於乳液狀態的量存在於分散的固相中。在另一具體實例中,聚合物顆粒還包含非可交聯移動性化學物質,以使此化學物質從分散的固相提取出來使之呈現允許環丙烯氣體或錯合物以受控速率從分散相擴散出來的多孔狀。在另一具體實例中,該聚合物顆粒還包含非多孔性微粒礦物作為擴散屏障。本發明的環丙烯組成物可以直接地或經稀釋後使用作為PGR。
依據本發明,發現環丙烯氣體與在非水性實質上與水不混溶液體中的分子包埋劑的固體錯合物的非水性分散液濃縮物可通過使用可固化或可聚合樹脂聚合物將環丙烯錯合物包封於聚合物基質中來製備,該聚合物基質中使用膠狀固體,從而在被用來製備分散相的過程期間使該聚合物樹脂穩定處於乳液狀態。該環丙烯錯合物能被分佈於可固化或可聚合樹脂的聚合物基質中,其以顆粒形式分散於連續的與水不混溶的液相中。其他活性成分可選擇地分散、溶解或懸浮於連續相中。環丙烯從該分散的固相釋放出來的速率可通過選擇性地在該分散相中摻入移動性非可交聯分子得以控制,其中此等分子經選擇以能與將形成微粒聚合物基質的未固化或未聚合樹脂易混合、溶於該固體聚合物顆粒將暴露至的水或一些其他介質、且其分子大小使得當其從分散相提取出來後所形成的孔隙允許環丙烯之所欲釋放。本發明的非水性分散液濃縮物對於被包埋的環丙烯氣體具有有益的長期的保護,從而提供了在儲存、運輸以及使用方面的實用價值。本發明的分散液濃縮物還提供了控制環丙烯氣體從濃縮物或最終使用的稀釋調配物釋放至標的部位的速率的能力。
適合使用於製備分散相聚合物基質的可聚合樹脂可選自於可固化或可聚合的熱固性或熱塑性聚合物的單體、寡聚體或預聚體。
本發明進一步關於包含環丙烯氣體和分子包埋劑的包封固體錯合物的聚合物顆粒,該分子包埋劑可以均勻地或不均勻地分佈於該聚合物顆粒中也可以域之形式存在該顆粒中且其中該顆粒外表面區域包含膠狀固體物質。
用於製備聚合物基質的可固化或可聚合樹脂可經選擇以具有足夠疏水性,使得當濃縮物經稀釋於水中以形成水性噴霧溶液時,該可固化或可聚合樹脂聚合物基質的顆粒會保護分佈於其中的環丙烯錯合物免於暴露至水一段時間,其原則上取決取決於分散聚合物顆粒的大小以及聚合物基質的孔隙度和極性。在一具體實例中,環丙烯錯合物均勻地分佈於聚合物基質中,或以域的形式存在該聚合物基質或其顆粒中。本領域中熟習該項技術者可輕易決定本發明的範圍內對固相的最佳顆粒大小,其對所欲的最終應用是足夠的。本領域中熟習該項技術者也可輕易決定聚合物基質的最佳孔隙度,其係(例如)通過選擇形成具有適當交聯密度和結晶度的合適的聚合物基質的可交聯或可聚合單體、通過將溶解和擴散出基質的移動性非可交聯分子摻入基質中、和/或通過將非多孔性微粒礦物作為擴散屏障摻入基質中。本領域熟習該項技術者也能選擇合適的單體、寡聚體或預聚體,其可與適當的疏水的以及親水的化學基團之組成物聚合成熱固性或熱塑性聚合物基質,從而最佳化該聚合物基質的極性。
本發明也包括在某一位置(例如土壤或葉片)調節植物生長的方法,其包括將該位置用根據本發明的分散液濃縮物處理或將根據本發明的濃縮物分散於水中,然後將該位置用所得到的經稀釋水性終端調配物處理。
因此,在一具體實例中,本發明的非水性液體分散液濃縮物組成物包含:a)連續的實質與水不混溶的非水性液相,其可選擇地含有至少一種農用化學活性成分;以及b)分散的固相,其包含由可固化或可聚合的熱固性或熱塑性樹脂製備的聚合物顆粒,其中該聚合物顆粒的外表面含有膠狀固體物質,其量有效於在用來製備分散相的過程期間使樹脂穩定處於乳液狀態,以及其中該聚合物顆粒含有至少一種環丙烯氣體和分散於其中的分子包埋劑的固體錯合物。
適合用於分散固相的可固化或可聚合熱固性樹脂應被理解為包括可經不可逆地聚合或固化以形成在低於熱分解點的高溫下不會熔化或變形的聚合基質的所有分子。聚合反應可熱起始、藉由添加化學固化劑起始、或藉由適當的照射以產生自由基或離子而起始,例如藉由可見光、UV、微波或其他電磁輻射、或電子束輻射。例子包括酚醛樹脂、脲、三聚氰胺、環氧樹脂、聚酯、矽樹脂、橡膠、聚異氰酸酯、多聚胺和聚氨酯。此外,可注意生物衍生的或生物可降解的熱固性樹脂,其包括由天然物質(例如蔬菜油、大豆、木材及類似物)衍生而來的環氧樹脂或聚酯樹脂。
在一具體實例中,使用於本發明的液體農用化學品組成物的分散液濃縮物係該等使用當在室溫條件下與固化劑結合時展現緩慢固化或聚合反應的固化劑、單體、寡聚物、預聚物或其摻合物所形成者。特別合適者是該等在與固化劑混合後在室溫條件下至少15分鐘、更合適的是30分鐘、最合適的是1小時未展現黏度明顯提高的固化劑、單體、寡聚物、預聚物或其摻合物。
適合用於本發明的可聚合樹脂也可經選擇以具有足夠疏水性者,使得當濃縮物用水稀釋以形成水性噴霧溶液時,該固化聚合物基質的顆粒保護分佈於其中的環丙烯錯合物免於暴露至水一段時間,其原則上取決取決於分散聚合物顆粒的大小以及聚合物基質的極性和孔隙度。
本領域熟習該項技術者可輕易地決定在本發明範圍內使用足以達到所欲終端應用的固化聚合物顆粒的理想顆粒大小。在一具體實例中,分散的固相b)的聚合物顆粒具有平均粒徑1~200微米,更特別地為平均粒徑1~100微米,且最特別地為平均粒徑2~80微米。在本發明上下文中,平均粒徑是指體積加權平均值,通常用D(v,0.5)表示。
在一具體實例中,適合的聚合樹脂係該等與使用於連續相中的非水性液體實質上不相混溶者。

在本文中,環丙烯氣體和分子包埋劑的固體錯合物有時稱為「環丙烯錯合物」。
例如,在一種製備其中1-MCP被包埋於分子包埋劑中的環丙烯錯合物的方法中,將1-MCP氣體通入α-環糊精的水溶液中,而錯合物首先從溶液中沉澱然後經過濾分離。由上述方法製得的環丙烯錯合物經分離、乾燥、然後以固體形式儲存,例如作為含有活性成分的粉末,以稍後添加至本發明的分散液濃縮物。

環丙烯從分散的固相釋放的速率可進一步藉由視情況將非多孔性微粒礦物摻入分散相中作為擴散屏障來控制。為了本發明的目的,非多孔性是指礦物缺乏大於單個環丙烯分子的孔,使環丙烯通過礦物顆粒的擴散係數少於10-15m2/s。

非水性液體分散液濃縮物組成物可方便地存儲於容器中,該濃縮物組成物可從該容器中倒出或泵出,或者在施用之前向該容器中添加液體載劑。
本發明的非水性液體分散液濃縮物組成物的優點包括:延長的存儲穩定期,例如室溫下6個月或更長;因為稀釋是以水或其他液體載劑完成以製備施用混合物,對於使用者,簡單操作成為可能的;降低環丙烯錯合物的降解;減少存儲期間或稀釋時懸浮物的沉降;少量攪動便可輕易使該組成物重新懸浮或重新分散。
本發明的組成物的施用率將取決於數個因素,包括(例如)是否選擇使用了可選擇的農用化學活性成分、欲控制的有害生物為何或者欲調節其生長的植物為何以及所選擇使用的調配物為何、以及化合物是否欲施用至葉子或土壤、施用供根吸收或藉由化學灌溉(chemigation)施用。然而,作為一般指導,適合的施用率為1~2000g活性成分/公頃,特別是2~500g活性成分/公頃。對於1-MCP和植物生長調節劑,使用率為大約0.1~50 g/公頃。
在一具體實例中,本發明組成物中使用的可選擇的農用化學活性成分的適合比率與包含該活性成分的產品的現有產品標籤上所給的現存比率是可相比的。例如,牌嘧菌酯可以112g~224g a.i./公頃的比率施用而QuiltTM牌嘧菌酯(75g/L)和並環唑(125g/L)的預混物可以0.75~1.5L/ha的比率施用。

作物應被理解為也包括該等已通過例行育種方法或通過基因工程賦予對除草劑或各類除草劑(例如ALS-、GS-、EPSPS-、PPO-、ACCase和HPPD-抑制劑)之耐受性的作物。已通過例行育種方法賦予對咪唑啉酮(例如甲氧醚磺隆(imazamox))之耐受性的作物的一個例子是夏季成熟型(油菜)。已通過基因工程的方法賦予對除草劑之耐受性的作物的例子包括例如以和為商標名的各種市售可得的抗草甘膦和抗草丁膦(glufosinate)玉米。
作物亦應被理解為該等已通過基因工程方法賦予對有害昆蟲之抗性的作物,例如Bt玉米(抗歐洲玉米螟)、Bt棉花(抗棉玲象鼻蟲)以及Bt馬鈴薯(抗科羅拉多甲蟲)。Bt玉米的例子為(Syngenta seed)的Bt 176玉米雜種。Bt毒素是由土壤細菌蘇雲金芽孢桿菌自然形成的蛋白質。在EP-A-451 878、EP-A-374 753、WO 93/07278、WO 95/34656、WO 03/052073和EP-A-427 529中描述了毒素、或者能夠合成這種毒素之轉基因植物的例子。包含一或多種編碼殺蟲抗性基因和表達一或多種毒素的轉基因植物的例子為(玉米)、Yield (玉米)、(棉花)、(棉花)、(馬鈴薯)、和。植物作物或其種子材料皆能同時抗除草劑和抗蟲食(「堆積(stacked)」轉基因事件)。例如,種子可具備表達殺蟲的Cry3蛋白的能力同時耐受草甘膦。
作物也應被理解為包括該等通過例行的育種或基因工程方法獲得且包含所謂的產量軌跡(output trail)(例如改善的儲存穩定性、較高的營養價值以及改善的風味)之作物。
其他有用植物包括草皮草,例如於高爾夫球場、草坪、公園和路旁中者、或商業上種植以用於草皮者、以及觀賞植物,例如花卉或灌木。
作物區域為所培育的植物已經於其上生長的或該等所培育的植物的種子以播灑於其中的土地區域,亦為欲於其上生長所培育的植物的土地區域。
其他活性成分(例如除草劑、植物生長調節劑、除藻劑、殺真菌劑、殺細菌劑、殺病毒劑、殺蟲劑、殺鼠劑、殺蟎劑、殺線蟲劑、殺軟體動物劑)可能存在於本發明的乳液調配物中或者可作為該乳液調配物之罐式混合伙伴劑(tank-mix partner)添加。

本發明的組成物可與肥料混合並仍保持其穩定性。該肥料可能含有(例如)硫、氮、磷和/或鉀。
本發明的組成物可採用例行農業方法使用。例如,本發明的組成物可與水和/或肥料混合以及可通過任何工具在出苗前和/或出苗後施用至所欲的位置,該工具例如為飛機噴灑箱、直噴式噴霧設備、背負式噴霧罐、牛浸式大桶(cattle dipping vat)、用於地面噴霧的農機設備(例如桿架式噴霧機、人力噴霧機)、及類似物。該所欲的位置可為土壤、植物、及類似者。
在一具體實例中,該分散液濃縮物是藉由以下者製備:

在一具體實例中,分散液濃縮物是由將分散相預混物添加至連續相預混物中來製備的,其中:
1)該分散相的預混物是通過以高剪切混合器摻合如下者所製備而成:至少一種環丙烯錯合物、至少一種適合的熱固性樹脂單體、寡聚體、預聚體或其摻合物、適合的硬化劑、催化劑或引發劑、可選擇的非可交聯移動性化學品、以及可選擇的作為擴散屏障的非多孔性微粒礦物;
2)該連續相的預混物是通過以低剪切混合器摻合如下者所製備而成:實質上與水不混溶的非水性液體和作為乳液穩定劑的膠狀固體。
所得的分散相預混物和連續相預混物的混合物在高剪切條件下攪拌適當時間以形成Pickering乳液,並接著根據需要將其加熱或使其暴露至光線或其他電磁輻射條件(UV、微波)以使分散相聚合。本領域中熟習該項技術者可通過下面的觀察來引導而輕易測定乳化的剪切速率以及持續時間:如果剪切速率太慢,乳液和所得聚合物基質顆粒會相對粗,且可能比所欲的要大;如果剪切速率太高或持續時間太長,乳液穩定膠體最終於連續相耗盡從而使任何新的分散相和連續相之間的介面表面都得不到有效保護,使得分散相發生快速聚結或雜絮凝,並且有效地失去Pickering乳液。
在一具體實例中,環丙烯錯合物在分散於會形成聚合物基質顆粒的可聚合樹脂(單體、寡聚體、和/或預聚體等)中之前可能被研磨成所欲的顆粒大小。必要時,該固體可在乾的狀態下使用氣流研磨機或其他適合的設備研磨,從而達到所欲的顆粒大小。顆粒大小可能為平均粒徑大約0.2~大約20微米,適合者為大約0.3~大約15微米,更適合者為大約0.5~大約10微米。

使用於製備分散固相的固體聚合顆粒的適合的可聚合的樹脂包括熱固性樹脂,例如環氧樹脂、酚醛樹脂、聚脲樹脂、聚氨酯樹脂、氨基塑膠樹脂以及聚酯樹脂。
在一具體實例中,使用於製備分散固相的固體聚合顆粒的適合的可聚合的樹脂為生物可降解或生物衍生的,其包括(例如)由天然物質(例如蔬菜油、大豆、木材及類似物)衍生而來的環氧或聚酯樹脂。
關於環氧樹脂,所有習慣用的雙-以及聚環氧化物的單體、預聚體或其摻合物都是適用於實施本發明的環氧樹脂。在一具體實例中,適合的環氧樹脂為該等在環境溫度呈液態者。該雙-和聚環氧化物可能為脂肪族的、環脂肪族的或芳香族的化合物。這類化合物之典型的例子為雙酚A縮水甘油醚、甘油醚、以及脂肪族或環脂肪族的二元醇或多元醇的β-甲基甘油醚,包括以下者的:氫化雙酚A、乙二醇、1,2-丙二醇1,3-丙二醇1,4-丁二醇、二甘醇、聚乙二醇、聚丙二醇、甘油、三羥甲基丙烷或1,4-二(羥甲基)環己烷或2,2-雙-(4-羥基環己基)丙烷、二-和多酚(典型是間苯二酚)的甘油醚、4,4'-二羥基二苯基甲烷、4,4'-二羥基二苯基-2,2-丙烷、酚醛(novolak)和1,1,2,2-四(4-羥基苯基)乙烷。其他例子為N-縮水甘油基化合物,包括乙烯尿素、1,3-丙烯尿素或5-二甲基乙內醯脲或4,4'-亞甲基-5,5'-四甲基二乙內醯脲的2-縮水甘油化合物、或例如三縮水甘油基異氰酸酯者。
技術上重要的其他縮水甘油化合物為羧酸(特別是二元-以及多元羧酸)的甘油醚。典型的例子是琥珀酸、己二酸,壬二酸,癸二酸,鄰苯二甲酸對苯二甲酸、四和六氫酞酸、間苯二甲酸或偏苯三酸或二聚化脂肪酸的甘油醚。
與縮水甘油化合物不同的聚環氧化物之實例是乙烯基環己烯和二環戊二烯的雙環氧化物、3-(3’,4’-環氧環己基)-8,9-環氧-2,4-二氧螺環-[5,5]十一烷、3,4-環氧環己烷羧酸之3’,4’-環氧環己基甲酯、丁二烯二環氧化物或異戊二烯二環氧化物、環氧化的亞麻油酸衍生物或環氧化的聚丁二烯。
其他適合的環氧樹脂為具有2~4個碳原子的二元酚或二元脂肪醇的二縮水甘油醚或改良的二縮水甘油醚,較佳者為2,2-雙(4-羥苯基)丙烷和雙(4-羥苯基)甲烷的二縮水甘油醚或改良的二縮水甘油醚或此等環氧樹脂的混合物。生物可降解或生物衍生化的環氧樹脂(例如蔬菜油的二縮水甘油醚)也適合使用於本發明。
適用於實施本發明的環氧樹脂硬化劑可能為任何適合的環氧樹脂硬化劑,典型地可選自伯胺和仲胺以及它們的加成物、氰胺、二氰胺、多元羧酸、多元羧酸之酐、多聚胺、聚胺基醯胺、胺的加成聚合物以及聚環氧化物和多元醇。
其他適合的硬化劑為多元羧酸酐,典型為鄰苯二甲酸酐、橋亞甲基四氫鄰苯二甲酸酐(nadic anhydride)、甲基橋亞甲基四氫鄰苯二甲酸酐、甲基四氫鄰苯二甲酸酐、甲基六氫鄰苯二甲酸酐、以及(另外)四氫鄰苯二甲酸酐和六氫鄰苯二甲酸酐。
酚醛樹脂包括可溶酚醛樹脂和酚醛清漆樹脂。可溶酚醛樹脂可能由酚或經取代酚與過量的甲醛在鹼催化劑的存在下反應所形成。酚醛清漆樹脂可能由過量的酚或經取代酚(例如,間苯二酚、對位取代苯酚,例如對叔丁基苯酚或甲酚)與甲醛在酸催化劑存在下反應所獲得。
聚酯樹脂包含鹼性樹脂和催化劑。該系統之鹼性樹脂組分可包括反應性聚合物、或單體、或兩者的結合。適合的反應性聚合物包括(但不限於)不飽和聚酯、乙烯酯、以及通過自由基機理之方式聚合的雜合環氧聚酯和丙烯酸聚酯系統。適合的單體包括(但不限於)苯乙烯、乙烯基甲苯、其他甲基苯乙烯單體、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、以及其他丙烯酸酯單體。適合的過氧化物催化劑包括(但不限於)酮過氧化物、異丙苯基氫過氧化物、二苯甲醯基過氧化物、過氧化酯、過氧化縮酮、以及過氧二碳酸鹽。適合的酮過氧化物包括(但不限於)過氧化甲基乙基酮、過氧化2,4-戊二酮、過氧化甲基異丁酮、過氧化乙醯丙酮、過氧化環己酮。
適合的氨基塑膠縮合物的例子包括尿素、二氰胺、三聚氰胺或草醯胺和醛類,例如甲醛、乙醛、異丁醛、羥基三甲基乙醛、巴豆醛、羥乙醛、糠醛、羥甲基糠醛、乙二醛、以及葡萄糖。在該適合的氨基塑膠中,也可提及尿素和甲醛、尿素和乙二醛、尿素和乙醛、尿素和異丁醛、尿素和巴豆醛、尿素和羥基三甲基乙醛以及2-氧代-4-甲基-6-脲基-六氫嘧啶之縮合產物。
固體(例如二氧化矽和粘土)已於文獻中教示可於農用化學品調配物中用作為粘度修飾劑,以通過在整個連續相中形成網狀物或凝膠而抑制重力驅動性沉澱或乳油分離,由此提高低剪切粘度,並且使細小顆粒、表面活性劑微胞或乳滴的運動減慢。而本發明的膠狀固體扮演加工助劑的角色以通過吸附於瞬態的液-液介面使包含樹脂單體的液滴在固化期間穩定,由此在該固化的液滴周圍形成屏障,因此,不論該固化液滴是否已於沉澱物或乳油層中累積,與其接觸或相鄰的固化液滴不能聚結。通過例如下面所述的功能測試可能區分二不同的功能(流變修飾或乳液穩定)。膠狀固體在穩定固化的聚合液滴之乳液的有效性取決於顆粒大小、顆粒形狀、顆粒濃度、顆粒可濕性和顆粒之間的相互作用。該膠狀固體必須足夠小,從而能夠塗層於該分散的固化聚合物液滴表面,並且該固化液滴必須足夠小,使得當含有所得固體聚合物顆粒的分散液濃縮物被稀釋以使用時,獲得對抗該顆粒之沉澱的可接受的分散穩定性。最終聚合物顆粒(且因此,膠狀固體)也必須足夠小,從而在標的部位提供可接受的均勻產物分佈。對於形成分散相和連續相兩者的液體,該膠狀固體也必須具有足夠的親和力,使得其等能夠吸附於瞬態的液-液介面處,從而使用乳液在固化期間保持穩定。此對於Pickering型乳液穩定化的可濕性、顆粒形狀和適合性可通過製備缺少作為乳液穩定劑的膠狀固體的對照調配物而輕易地評估。在此例子中,固化的聚合物液滴會聚結,並且形成聚結塊而非細小固體聚合物顆粒之分散液。
在一具體實例中,採用掃描電子顯微鏡測量,該膠狀固體具有0.01-2.0微米,特別地為0.5微米或更少,更特別地為0.1微米或更少的數加權中位數粒徑直徑。
各種各樣固體物質可能被用作為用於製備本發明的分散液的膠狀穩定劑,包括炭黑、金屬氧化物、金屬氫氧化物、金屬碳酸鹽、金屬硫酸鹽、聚合物、二氧化矽和粘土。適合的膠狀穩定劑不溶於任何出現在濃縮物調配物之製備的液相中。如果農用化學活性成分在任何用於稀釋最終組成物的液體中以及在連續相及(瞬態的)分散的液相中具有適度低的溶解度(即在室溫低於大約100ppm),並且可於適合的粒徑製備,且對於瞬態的液-液介面具有適合的潤濕特性,如上所述處,則該活性成分可扮演膠狀穩定劑亦是可能的。特別的無機物質之實例為鈣、鎂、鋁和矽(或如此物質的衍生物),例如二氧化矽、矽酸鹽、大理石、粘土和滑石之至少一者的氧化合物。特別的無機物質可能為天然產生的或在反應器中被合成的。特別的無機物質可能為選自(但不限於)如下者的礦物質:高嶺土、膨土、氧化鋁、石灰石、鋁礬土、石膏、碳酸鎂、碳酸鈣(重質或輕質的)、珍珠岩、白雲石、矽藻土、碳酸鈣鎂石、菱鎂礦、水鋁土、海泡石、坡縷石、雲母、蛭石、伊利石、水滑石、水輝石、多水高嶺土和三水鋁石。其他適合的粘土(例如鋁矽酸鹽)包括該等含有高嶺石、蒙脫石或伊利石的粘土礦物者。其他具體的例子為厄帖浦石、合成鋰皂石、海泡石。
在一具體實例中,非多孔性微粒無機物質與環丙烯錯合物一起分佈於聚合物顆粒之中以扮演可選擇的擴散屏障。該擴散屏障是通過將如此物質與環丙烯錯合物一起懸浮於非水性可固化液體混合物中來製備的,該非水性可固化液體混合物是用來製備作為分散相b)的熱固性或熱塑性樹脂聚合物顆粒的。適合的微粒擴散屏障物質包括炭黑、金屬氧化物、金屬氫氧化物、金屬碳酸鹽、金屬硫酸鹽、聚合物、二氧化矽、雲母和粘土。對於相同的微粒無機物質而言,同時穩定乳液和扮演擴散屏障是可能的。
在本發明的一方面,該微粒無機物質為高嶺土粘土。高嶺土粘土也指瓷土或含水的高嶺土,並且主要含有礦物高嶺石(Al2Si2O5(OH)4),其為一種含水矽酸鋁(或鋁矽酸鹽)。
在本發明的一方面,該微粒無機物質可能是經表面修飾的。表面修飾是指該無機顆粒表面經修飾從而具有活性基團。該顆粒表面可能使用各種各樣通用結構為X---Y---Z的化學物質修飾,其中X是對該顆粒表面具有高親和力的化學組成部分;Z是具有所欲功能的(活性)化學組成部分;以及Y是將X和Z連接在一起的化學組成部分。
X可能(例如)是烷氧基矽烷基團,例如三乙氧矽烷或三甲氧矽烷或三氯矽烷,其當顆粒在表面上具有矽醇基(SiOH)時特別有用。X也可能(例如)是酸性基團(例如羧酸或丙烯酸基團),其當顆粒在表面上具有鹼性基團時特別有用。X也可能(例如)是鹼性基團(例如胺基)、環氧基、或不飽和基團(例如丙烯或乙烯基)。
Y可是任何可以將X和Z連接在一起的化學基團,例如聚醯胺、聚異氰酸酯、聚酯或撐烷基鏈;更適合地,其為撐烷基鏈;且甚至更適合地,其為C2-6撐烷基鏈,例如乙烯或丙烯。
反應性基團Z可以是選自任何基團,且可與Y不同,其能使用於與交聯劑反應。
選擇膠狀固體的種類及數量,從而在固化期間提供組成物可接受的物理穩定性。此能夠被熟習該項技術者通過對一系列含有不同量的該組分的組成物進行例行評價而輕易地測定。例如,膠狀固體使組成物穩定的能力能夠通過製備含有膠狀固體的試驗樣本並且可確認可固化乳滴之乳液是穩定的且不會顯現聚結來驗證。聚結由於形成肉眼可見的大的液滴並且最終在調配物中形成液體單體層而是明顯的。如果沒有明顯的聚結並且固體聚合物顆粒呈現精細分散,那麼該組成物在固化期間的物理穩定性是可接受的。
例如,在一具體實例中,膠狀固體是以分散相的1-80重量%,特別地為4-50重量%的量使用。可使用膠狀固體之混合物。
下面的實施例進一步闡明本發明的某些方面,但其並非對本發明之範圍作限制。除非通篇說明書和申請專利範圍特別說明,百分比均是按重量計。
實施例1-5
A.調配物的製備
如下表1所述分散相的成分用剪切混合器預混(「HAIP」是α-環糊精和1-MCP的錯合物,其呈粉末形式。HAIP包含大約4.5重量%的1-MCP(AgroFresh,Inc.,Pa)),635稀環氧樹脂與556環氧樹脂硬化劑(2:1)(Reichhold,Inc.,NC)。連續相如表1採用低剪切混合器預混。將該預混的分散相添加至該預混的連續相中,然後採用高剪切混合器混合5-10分鐘。為了使環氧樹脂固化加速,將該混合的調配物以高溫(70℃)處理3小時。下面的對照實施例3之組分僅在高剪切混合器中均質。
B. MCP釋放速率
將該調配物以適當的乳化劑(Kinetic,Toximul TA-6,Stepfac 8180和Toximul 8320、等)於氣密密封瓶中稀釋於水中(水中MCP濃度為25 ppm)然後攪拌。通過氣相層析分析瓶子頂部空間的MCP的濃度來監測MCP的釋放。
C.偏上性測試
將該調配物以適當的乳化劑(Kinetic,Toximul TA-6,Stepfac 8180和Toximul 8320、等)稀釋於水中(水中MCP濃度為25ppm),然後噴霧於番茄植株上。在1-MCP處理1小時後施用乙烯磷(ethephon)。在施用1-MCP之前測量第三葉柄相對植物的莖的夾角並和處理後的第24小時再次測量。最終數據以第三葉柄相對莖的角度之改變的平均值表示。

實施例10
A.調配物的製備
用高剪切混合器預混分散相。用低剪切混合器預混連續相。將預混的分散相添加至該連續相中,然後用高剪切混合器混合5-10分鐘。為了環氧樹脂固化加速,將該混合的調配物以高溫(70℃)處理3小時。
B.釋放速率
將該調配物以適當的表面活性劑稀釋於水中,然後置於振動器中。以適當的時間間隔取樣。釋放速率通過層析分析監測。

Claims (15)
- 一種非水性液體分散液濃縮物組成物,其包含:(a)連續性實質上與水不混溶的非水性液相;(b)分散的固相,其包含具有α-環糊精與1-甲基環丙烯之錯合物分佈於其中的聚合物顆粒,該聚合物顆粒係由以下者製備:(i)將該1-甲基環丙烯-α-環糊精錯合物溶解或懸浮於包含可固化或可聚合熱固性或熱塑性樹脂的非水性可固化液體混合物中,(ii)將該溶液或懸浮液在與水不混溶的非水性液體中乳化成平均液滴大小為1-200微米,該液體亦包含膠狀固體乳液穩定劑,與(iii)使該可固化或可聚合熱固性或熱塑性樹脂混合物交聯、聚合或固化以產生具有該1-甲基環丙烯-α-環糊精錯合物分佈於其中的聚合物顆粒,且其中該顆粒之外表面包含膠狀固體物質。
