Abstract

The present invention relates to an energy switching device and a method, including at least a switching control micro-processor module, a plurality of power switching control modules and a plurality of power conversion modules, wherein the switching control micro-processor module inputs respectively electricity rates of supply mains and power generation degrees of the fuel cell, and fuel expenses to calculate and compare the energy optimum switching mode between the power generation costs of the fuel cell and fuel expenses. The plural power switching control modules are respectively connected to the switching control micro-processor module, the fuel cell, an alternating current supply main power, the power conversion module, at least an electricity storage device and an indoor distribution box such that supply main power or power of the fuel cell is switched by means of economy dispatch of the optimum energy source switching of the switching control micro-processor module. Through the power conversion module, electricity of supply main power or the fuel cell is switched to the power storage device for storing energy, and to the power distribution box for supplying power. Alternatively, excess power is reclaimed and sold to electric power companies through the smart meter of the electric power company and the smart grid.
