Description
本發明係關於一種顯示高對比度及優秀像清晰度之防眩光膜及其製備方法。
當LCD、PDP、OLED、背投(Rear-projection)TV等之平板顯示器(FPD;Flat Panel Display)暴露於自然光等外部光時,表面反射光會引發使用者眼睛疲勞或頭痛,且於顯示器內部形成之圖像具有無法作為可辨識之清晰圖像之問題。為解決這些缺點,一般使用防眩光膜(Anti-Glare Film),透過其在顯示器表面形成凹凸狀來散射外部光線,或者利用用於形成塗覆膜之樹脂與微粒間的折射率來誘導內部散射。
以上述目的而言,適用於顯示器等表面之防眩光膜不僅需具有防眩光效果,而且還需具有高清晰度和高對比度。一般霧度值越高,外部光線之擴散程度則越大,從而達到良好的防眩光效果,但此時會出現表面散射引起之圖像歪曲和內部散射引起之白化現象,而使對比度(contrast ratio)下降。
如上所述,由於清晰度及對比度提高時,防眩光特性下降;而當提高防眩光特性時,則會有清晰度及對比度下降之問題。因此對於製備一種高解析度顯示器用防眩光膜而言,如何控制好這些特性將為重要技術。
本發明之發明人為解決上述先前技術之問題,對一種能顯示高對比度及優秀像清晰度,亦能優異的防眩光之防眩光膜進行反覆研究,並進而完成本發明。
本發明之目的在於提供一種能顯示高對比度及優秀像清晰度,亦能具有優異的防眩光特性之防眩光膜及其製備方法。
一種防眩光膜,包含透明基材層和層疊於透明基材層上之防眩光層,其中該防眩光層包含體積平均粒徑為5 μm至10 μm之有機或者無機微粒和光硬化樹脂,該有機或無機微粒及光硬化樹脂之折射率之差值為0.005至0.05,且該有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑與防眩光層之厚度滿足以下數學式,
其中,該式中d為有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑,T為防眩光層之乾燥厚度。
而且,本發明提供一種該防眩光膜之製備方法。
下面,將詳細地說明本發明具體實施例之防眩光膜及其製備方法。
本發明之發明人不僅對能夠顯示高對比度及優秀像清晰度,且具有優秀防眩光特性之防眩光膜進行反覆研究,以了解當防眩光層中包含之微粒的體積平均粒徑和防眩光
層之厚度滿足規定數學式時,即能夠製備出一種不僅具有優秀的防眩光特性且亦能顯示高對比度及優秀像清晰度之防眩光膜,從而完成了本發明。
根據本發明一具體實施例之防眩光膜,其包含透明基材層和層疊於此透明基材層上之防眩光層,該防眩光層包含體積平均粒徑為5 μm至10 μm之有機或無機微粒及光硬化樹脂,該有機或無機微粒及光硬化樹脂之折射率差值為0.005至0.05,且該有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑與防眩光層之厚度滿足下列數學式。
其中,該式中d為有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑,T為防眩光層之乾燥厚度。
即,當向防眩光層上部凸出之有機或者無機微粒之凸出部分高度較大時,雖然由於表面凹凸可提高防眩光特性,但過多次之光散射難以達到高對比度及優秀的像清晰度。另外,即使適當地調整這些微粒之凸出高度來提高防眩光特性,但仍存在像清晰度及對比度變差之問題。
有鑑於此,本發明人經研究了解到,當將此種有機或無機微粒之凸出部分和防眩光層之厚度調整為滿足規定數學式時,即可製備出一種具有優秀防眩光特性及優秀顯示影像清晰度及對比度之防眩光膜。這裡所述之式係為上述之數學式。
進一步,根據本發明之一具體實施例之防眩光膜,該有機或無機微粒在該防眩光層之向上凸出部分中,該有機或無機微粒之凸出部分之長度與高度之比可為1:0.03至1:0.18。
具體來說,有機或無機微粒為球狀且其中一部分係覆蓋防眩光層,而另一部分係凸出於防眩光層。此時,該“有機或無機微粒凸出部分之長度”表示:假設當防眩光層在球狀有機或無機微粒向上凸出之部分橫向切斷微粒之截面時的微粒橫截面之橫向長度,“有機或無機微粒之凸出部分之高度”表示向上凸出防眩光層之微粒之垂直高度。
該有機或無機微粒之凸出部分之長度與高度之比較佳為1:0.03至1:0.18,這係因為假使有機或無機微粒之凸出部分之長度與高度之比小於1:0.03時,難以具有防眩光特性,若大於1:0.18時,則防眩光特性會因為過大而無法具有高對比度特性。
而且,除體積平均粒徑之外,為了適當地誘導光之散射效果,該有機或者無機微粒可使用粒徑在5 μm至10 μm之範圍內之微粒。當使用這種微粒時,防眩光層之厚度可為4.2 μm至9.8 μm,更佳為4.5 μm至9.7 μm,最佳為4.6 μm至9.6 μm。當防眩光層之厚度小於4.2 μm時,則包含於防眩光層之粒子向上凸出之高度不利於防眩光效果,然而當防眩光層之厚度超過9.8 μm時,則塗膜會變得過厚而具有易脆(brittle)之傾向。
此外,該有機或無機微粒只要係習知用於形成防眩光膜者,其構成即無限制。具體來說,該有機微粒可使用選自由:壓克力樹脂、苯乙烯樹脂、環氧樹脂及尼龍樹脂所構成之有機微粒群組中之至少一種,且該無機微粒可使用選自由:氧化矽、二氧化鈦、氧化銦、氧化錫,氧化鋯及氧化鋅構成之無機微粒群組中之至少一種。

而且,為防止使用者所感知之眼睛眩暈現象和誘導光之散射效果,故需添加有機或無機微粒。相對於100重量份之該光硬化樹脂,較佳可使用1重量份至20重量份,更佳可使用5重量份至15重量份,最佳可使用6重量份至10重量份之有機或無機微粒,以達到最佳效果。
相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,當該有機或者無機微粒之含量小於1重量份時,不能充分呈現通過內部散射之霧度值,而當超過20重量份時,因為用於製備防眩光層之塗
覆組成物之黏性變高,導致塗覆性變差,且通過內部散射之霧度值變得過大,而可能會使得對比度下降。
一方面,根據上述實施例之防眩光膜,只要該光硬化樹脂能夠用於防眩光膜之製備,其構成並無特別限制。根據該具體實施例之防眩光膜所包含之光硬化樹脂,只要與有機或無機微粒之折射率的差值在0.005至0.05之範圍內之均可使用,其構成並無特別限制。
若微粒與光硬化樹脂之折射率差值小於0.005,則很難獲得防眩光膜所要求之適當的霧度,若微粒與光硬化樹脂之折射率差值超過0.05,則由於內部霧度值會變大,而可能很難顯示高對比度。
具體來說,上述光硬化樹脂可使用壓克力樹脂,例如,反應性丙烯酸酯低聚物、多官能基丙烯酸酯單體或者它們之混合物。該反應性丙烯酸低聚物可使用聚氨酯丙烯酸酯低聚物、環氧丙烯酸酯低聚物、聚酯丙烯酸酯、聚醚丙烯酸酯或者其之混合物。
該多官能基丙烯酸酯單體可使用二新戊四醇六丙烯酸酯(dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate)、二新戊四醇羥五丙烯酸酯(dipentaerythritol hydroxy pentaacrylate)、新戊四醇四丙烯酸酯(pentaerythritol tetraacrylate)、新戊四醇三丙烯酸酯(pentaerythritol triacrylate)、三亞甲基丙基三丙烯酸酯(trimethylene propyl triacrylate)、丙氧基化甘油三丙烯酸酯(propoxylated glycerol triacrylate)、三甲基丙烷乙氧基三丙烯酸酯(trimethylpropane ethoxy triacrylate)、1,
6-己二醇二丙烯酸酯(1,6-hexanediol diacrylate)、丙氧基化甘油三丙烯酸酯(propoxylated glycero triacrylate)、二丙烯酸三丙二醇酯(tripropylene glycol diacrylate)、二丙烯酸乙二醇酯(ethylene glycol diacrylate)或者其之混合物。
一方面,由於上述實施例之防眩光膜設計為防眩光層,其所包含之粒子的大小與防眩光層之厚度係滿足規定之數學式,因此除了防眩光特性之外,對比度及像清晰度等亦優秀。具體來說,通過JIS-K-7105測定之透射率為90%以上,霧度為0.5至5.0,60°反射光澤度為75至90,影像清晰度為250%以上。
另一方面,根據上述實施例之防眩光膜,該透明基材層之透明基材材料之構成並無特別限定,只要是防眩光膜製備技術領域中常使用之材料均可。具體來說,可選自由三醋酸纖維素(TAC)、聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)、聚碳酸酯(PC)及冰片烯類聚合物組成之群組中之至少一種,但並不局限於此。較佳地,當防眩光膜適用於高解析度顯示器用偏光板時,可使用三醋酸纖維素(TAC)來製備。較佳地,此種透明基材層之透射率至少為85%。而且,霧度值為1%以下,且厚度可係為30 μm至120 μm,然而本發明並不受上述霧度值及厚度而限定。
根據上述實施例之防眩光膜可進一步包含一低反射層(Low-Reflection Layer),該低反射層係進一步層疊於該防眩光層之上及/或該透明基材層之背面。此時,低反射層
之厚度可為40 nm至200 nm,折射率可為1.2至1.45。較佳地,用於形成此種低反射層之低折射材料為折射率1.40以下之NaF、LiF、AlF3
、Na5
AlF6
、MgF2
、YF3
等金屬氟化物,且該金屬氟化物可單獨使用或者將兩種以上混合使用,並且粒徑較佳為1 nm至100 nm。
再者,該低反射層中可進一步包含氟系矽烷,具體來說可使用十三氟辛基三乙氧基矽烷(tridecafluorootyltriethoxysilane)、十七氟癸基三甲氧基矽烷(heptadecafluorodecyltrimethoxysilane),十七氟癸基三異丙氧基矽烷(heptadecafluorodecyltriisopropoxysilane),可使用一種或者將不同之兩種以上混合之氟系矽烷,然而並不局限於此。
根據另一實施例之防眩光膜,其可進一步包含防污染層,該防污染層係層疊於該防眩光膜之透明基材層背面及/或該防眩光層上。此種防污染層之厚度可大於0 nm且小於100 nm,該防污染層可通過使用含有氟基之單官能基及多官能基丙烯酸酯而形成,然而本發明並不局限於此。
一方面,本發明提供一種根據另一具體實施例之包含上述防眩光膜之顯示器。此種顯示器可為高解析度平板顯示器,具體來說可為LCD、PDP、OLED,背投(Rear-Projection)TV。
而且,本發明提供一種根據另一實施例之防眩光膜製備方法。根據本發明一實施例之防眩光膜製備方法,其包含:
提供透明基材層;將包含體積平均粒徑為5 μm至10 μm之有機或無機微粒、與該有機或無機微粒的折射率差值為0.005至0.05之光硬化樹脂及光引發劑之塗覆組成物塗覆於該透明基材層,並使該微粒之體積平均粒徑與防眩光層之厚度滿足以下之數學式;以及將塗覆之該塗覆組成物照射電子束或者紫外線,以進行光硬化,而後乾燥,形成防眩光層。
其中,該式中d為有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑,T為防眩光層之乾燥厚度。
該塗覆組成物之塗覆方法可使用習知方法,該塗覆方法沒有特別限制,具體來說可使用輥塗法、桿塗法、噴塗法,浸塗法或者旋轉塗法之濕式塗法。
而且,在塗覆組成物之塗覆步驟中,為了提高作業性並改善最終形成之防眩光層之膜強度等,該塗覆組成物可進一步包含有機溶劑。考慮塗覆組成物之適當黏性及最終形成之膜的膜強度等情況下,相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,該有機溶劑較佳可使用50重量份至500重量份;更佳可使用100重量份至400重量份;最佳可使用150重量份至350重量份。
此時,雖然可使用之有機溶劑種類之構成沒有特別限制,可使用選自由碳原子數1至6之低級醇、乙酸酯、酮、
溶纖劑、二甲基甲酰胺、四氫呋喃、丙二醇單甲基醚,甲苯及二甲苯構成之群組中之一種或至少一種之混合物。
此時,該低級醇可例如為甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇、丁醇、異丁醇或者二丙酮醇等,而本發明並不局限於上述之例。該乙酸酯可為乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸異丙酯、醋酸丁酯或溶纖劑乙酸酯,該酮可為甲基乙基酮、甲基異丁基酮、乙酰丙酮或者丙酮,但並不局限於此。
而且,為了照射紫外線達到硬化之目的,該塗覆組成物可包含光引發劑,此時,相對於100重量份之該光硬化樹脂,可添加0.1重量份至10重量份之光引發劑。相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,當光引發劑含量小於0.1重量份時,紫外線照射發生之光硬化可能會不完全,然而,相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,當光引發劑含量超過10重量份時,則可能會降低最終形成之防眩光膜之膜強度。
此時,可使用之光引發劑之種類只要係習知用於形成防眩光膜者,其構成並無限制。具體來說,可使用選自1-羥基環已基苯基甲酮(1-hydroxy cyclohexylphenyl ketone)、苯偶酰二甲基縮酮(benzyl dimethyl ketal)、羥基二甲基苯乙酮(hydroxydimethyl acetophenone)、安息香(benzoin)、安息香甲醚(benzoin methyl ether)、安息香乙醚(benzoin ethyl ether)、安息香異丙醚(benzoin isoprophyl ether)及安息香丁醚(benzoin butyl ether)中之一種或者兩種以上之混合物,然而本發明並不局限於此。
而且,該塗覆組成物還可包含選自由:勻染劑、潤濕劑、消泡劑、以及體積平均粒徑為1 nm至50 nm之二氧化矽構成之添加劑群組中之至少一種添加劑。此時,相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,可分別添加0.01重量份至10重量份範圍內之上述添加劑。
上述之勻染劑具有使防眩光塗覆組成物來塗覆之塗覆膜之表面均勻之作用。而且,該潤濕劑不僅具有降低防眩光塗覆組成物之表面能量之作用,而且將防眩光塗覆組成物塗覆於透明基材層上時,有助於均勻塗覆。
此時,為除去防眩光塗覆組成物內之氣泡,可添加消泡劑。而且,作為無機物粒子所添加之該二氧化矽,較佳係具有增加塗膜內之耐刮性及塗膜強度之作用,而且當使用體積平均粒徑為1 nm至50 nm之二氧化矽時,可確保獲得透明之塗膜,不影響塗膜之光學物性。
一方面,該製備方法中,光硬化及乾燥步驟最好使防眩光層之厚度達到4.2 μm至9.8 μm。對於防眩光層之厚度與防眩光層所包含之有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑之關係,以上述之膜的具體實施例中所說明之內容代替。
而且,相對於100重量份之光硬化樹脂,該塗覆組成物所包含之有機或無機微粒之含量可係為1重量份至20重量份。另外,塗覆組成物所包含之有機或無機微粒之種類、折射率及體積平均粒徑等值,以該防眩光膜之實施例中所說明之內容代替。
如上所述,本發明可提供一種具有優秀的防眩光特性,且顯示高對比度且高像清晰度之防眩光膜。
夏墅,藉由具體實施例對本發明的作用及效果進行更加詳細的說明,但這些實施例僅用於例示本發明,本發明的權利範圍並不局限於下述實施例。
均勻混合10 g之聚氨酯低聚物(製造商:SK CYTEC)、20g之多官能單體(化合物:DPHA,Dipentaerythritol Hexa Acrylate)、30 g之甲基乙基酮溶劑、30 g之異丙醇、2 g之光引發劑(Igacure184,Ciba)及1 g之添加劑(Tego Glide 450),以準備之硬化塗覆液組成物,其中,添加2 g之體積平均粒徑為5μ
m,折射率為1.525之有機微粒丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯共聚合物樹脂(製造商:Sekisui Plastic),藉此製備防眩光塗覆組成物。
在厚度為80μ
m之由三醋酸纖維素組成之透明基材上,藉由桿塗覆法塗覆上述之防眩光塗覆組成物,以使乾燥厚度達到4.5μ
m至4.8μ
m,接著照射280 mJ/cm2
紫外線以進行光硬化,而製備防眩光膜。
本實施例使用係以體積平均粒徑為8μ
m,折射率為1.525之有機微粒丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯共聚合物樹脂(製造商:Sekisui Plastic)來代替實施例1中之有機微粒,並且經塗覆使防眩光層之乾燥厚度達到7.5μ
m至7.8μ
m,除此之外,利用與實施例1相同之方法來製備防眩光膜。
在實施例1中經塗覆使防眩光層之厚度達到4μ
m,並使用一體積平均粒徑為5μ
為,折射率為1.525之有機微粒丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯共聚合物樹脂(製造商:Sekisui Plastic),除此之外,利用與實施例1相同之方法製備防眩光層。
比較例2係以體積平均粒徑為4μ
m,折射率為1.525之有機微粒丙烯酸酯-苯乙烯共聚合物樹脂(製造商:Sekisui Plastic)來代替實施例1中之有機微粒,並經塗覆使防眩光層之乾燥厚度為3.5μ
m至3.8μ
m),除此之外,利用與實施例1相同之方法製備防眩光膜。
一方面,用於製備以上實施例及比較例涉及之防眩光膜之塗覆組成物中包含的微粒之體積平均粒徑,以及所製備之防眩光膜之防眩光層之乾燥厚度,如下表1所示。
1)測定透射率、霧度
根據JIS-K-7105,並利用村上色彩技術研究所(Murakami Color Research Laboratory)之HM-150來測定透射率和霧度值。
2)測定60°反射光澤度(Gloss)
利用BYK Gardner公司之micro-TRI-gloss來測定60°反射光澤度(Gloss)。
3)像清晰度(%)
利用Suga儀器股份有限公司(Suga Test Instrument Co.,LTD.)之ICM-1T來測定像清晰度。
4)對比度
根據韓國產業規格(KS C IEC 61988-2-1)測定對比度。
5)反射率
利用島金(Shimadzu)公司之Solid Spec-3700測定防眩光膜之反射率。
6)熒光燈之擴散性
在防眩光膜背面黏貼黑色膠帶後,照射螢光燈,觀察膜表面形成螢光燈之像之程度。對觀察結果進行如下分類。
◎:未觀察到螢光燈之像
○:雖形成螢光燈之像,但整體擴散
X:清晰地顯示螢光燈之像
下表2顯示上述之1至6之實驗結果。
如該表1所示,防眩光膜之防眩光層所包含之微粒之體積平均粒徑與防眩光層之厚度滿足規定數學式,且使用體積平均粒徑為5μ
m至10μ
m之微粒之實施例1及2之防眩光膜之情形,如螢光燈之擴散性數據及光澤度實驗結果所示,防眩光特性不但保持一定水準以上,且亦顯示出高對比度。
相反地,當防眩光層所包含之微粒之體積平均粒徑和防眩光層之厚度不滿足規定數學式,且部分微粒之粒徑超出5μ
m至10μ
m之範圍時(比較例1之防眩光膜),由防眩光層外凸出之粒子高度部分較大,且由螢光燈之擴散性及光澤度值可知,雖然防眩光特性優秀,但影像清晰度下降且對比度也顯示較差。
一方面,雖然防眩光層所包含之粒子之體積平均粒徑和防眩光層之厚度滿足規定數學式,但使用一體積平均粒徑小於5μ
m之微粒,且部分微粒之粒徑超出5μ
m至10μ
m範圍的微粒時(比較例2),儘管防眩光層上有微粒凸出之一定長度,然而如螢光燈之擴散性及光澤度結果中所示,防眩光效果不佳。
Claims (13)
- 一種防眩光膜,包含一透明基材層和層疊於該透明基材層上之一防眩光層,其中該防眩光層包含體積平均粒徑為5 μm至10 μm之一有機或無機微粒及一光硬化樹脂,該有機或無機微粒及該光硬化樹脂之折射率之差值為0.005至0.05,且該有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑和該防眩光層之厚度係滿足以下數學式,該有機或無機微粒之各別粒徑為5 μm至10 μm,
其中,該式中之d為該有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑,T為該防眩光層之乾燥厚度。 - 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中該有機或無機微粒在該防眩光層之一向上凸出部分中,該有機或無機微粒之一凸出部分之長度與高度比為1:0.03至1:0.18。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中該防眩光層之厚度為4.2 μm至9.8 μm。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中相對於100重量份之該光硬化樹脂,該防眩光膜係包含1重量份至20重量份之該有機或無機微粒。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中該有機微粒係至少一選自由:壓克力樹脂、苯乙烯樹脂、環氧樹脂及尼龍樹脂所組成之群組。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中該無機微粒係至少一選自由:氧化矽、二氧化鈦、氧化銦、氧化錫、氧化鋯及氧化鋅所組成之群組。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其中該光硬化樹脂係至少一選自由:反應性丙烯酸酯低聚物群組和多官能基丙烯酸酯單體群組,其中該反應性丙烯酸酯低聚物群組係由:聚氨酯丙烯酸酯低聚物(urethane acrylate oligomer)、環氧丙烯酸酯低聚物(epoxy acylate oligomer)、聚酯丙烯酸酯(polyester acrylate)及聚醚丙烯酸酯(polyether acrylate)所構成;以及該多官能基丙烯酸酯單體群組係由:二新戊四醇六丙烯酸酯(dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate)、二新戊四醇羥五丙烯酸酯(dipentaerythritol hydroxy pentaacrylate)、新戊四醇四丙烯酸酯(pentaerythritol tetraacrylate)、新戊四醇三丙烯酸酯(pentaerythritol triacrylate)、三亞甲基丙基三丙烯酸酯(trimethylene propyl triacrylate)、丙氧基化甘油三丙烯酸酯(propoxylated glycerol triacrylate)、三甲基丙烷乙氧基三丙烯酸酯(trimethylpropane ethoxy triacrylate)、1,6-己二醇二丙烯酸酯(1,6-hexanediol diacrylate)、丙氧基化甘油三丙烯酸酯(propoxylated glycero triacrylate)、二丙烯酸三丙二醇酯(tripropylene glycol diacrylate)及二丙烯酸乙二醇酯(ethylene glycol diacrylate)所組成。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之防眩光膜,其通過JIS-K-7105測定之透射率為90%以上,霧度為0.5至5.0,60°反射光澤度為75至90,影像清晰度為250%以上。
- 一種顯示裝置,係包含申請專利範圍第1項至第8項中之任一項所述之防眩光膜。
- 一種防眩光膜製備方法,包含:提供一透明基材層;將包含體積平均粒徑為5 μm至10 μm之一有機或無機微粒、與該有機或者無機微粒的折射率之差值為0.005至0.05之一光硬化樹脂及一光引發劑之一塗覆組成物塗覆於該透明基材層,以使該有機或者無機微粒之體積平均粒徑與一防眩光層之厚度滿足以下數學式;以及將所塗覆之該塗覆組成物照射電子束或者紫外線,以進行光硬化,而後乾燥,以形成該防眩光層,該有機或無微粒之各別粒徑為5 μm至10 μm,
其中,該式中d為該有機或無機微粒之體積平均粒徑,T為該防眩光層之乾燥厚度。 - 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之防眩光膜製備方法,其中該有機或無機微粒在該防眩光層上之一凸出部分中,該有機或無機微粒之一凸出部分之長度與高度比為1:0.03至1:0.18。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之防眩光膜製備方法,其中於該光硬化及乾燥步驟中,係使該防眩光層之厚度達到4.2 μm至9.8 μm。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之防眩光膜製備方法,其中相對於100重量份之該光硬化樹脂,該塗覆組成物係包含1重量份至20重量份之該有機或無機微粒。
