Description
本發明係關於一種電子連接器,其具一絕緣材料外殼,並於兩個彼此相對立之側面間設有兩個插孔,其中一側之插孔係用來導入導電端子,另一側則用來導入至少一條已去除絕緣之電導線末端。連接器於端子側設有一端子鉗夾接點,藉此使連接器能在一片導電板之接觸端子上,或在連接用之接觸端子上,提供一額外的相對接點,而在連接器之導線側,每個被連接之電導線均設有一片薄片彈簧,用以形成一薄片彈簧鉗夾點,該薄片彈簧能於導線插入之方向,逆著導線斜向張開,並以薄片彈簧之末端,將所插入之已去除絕緣之電導線末端卡住。
該類型之電子連接器,早於1976年出現於英國專利案GB 1 528 993中。該專利案所示為一種安裝於一共同絕緣材料塊狀外殼中之雙極式連接器,藉此使雙極式塊狀外殼連接器及其所屬之兩條平行的接觸端子,形成一「插頭及套筒之組成」模式。根據英國專利案GB 1 528 993,其接觸端子上設置一套筒式鉗夾接點,以方便連接器之插接,其設計形式係讓連接器在需要時,能再度自接觸端子上拔除。此外,於連接器另一側所設之電導線薄片彈簧鉗夾點,同樣可在需要時被打開,其方式係利用工具,把薄片彈簧鉗夾點上之薄片彈簧按開,使電導線能再度自連接器中抽出。
由歐洲專利案EP 0 735 616 A2可知另一種形式之連接器(參照該專利案之圖十八及圖十九)。其標題為「電子插座連接器」,係一種能插在導電板上之已焊接接觸端子之連接器,並採用一種鬱金香形狀之彈性鉗夾接點套筒,使其能再度自接觸端子上被拔除。連接器之另一側,係為電導線而設之薄片彈簧鉗夾點,其設計形式同樣為(如英國專利案GB 1 528 993)能被鬆開之薄片彈簧鉗夾點。
前述兩種連接器,其端子鉗夾接點及導線鉗夾點,皆由一片彈簧鋼片構成。在端子側,該彈簧鋼片被做成套筒式鉗夾接點之形狀,而在導線側則做成一體成型之電導線薄片彈簧鉗夾點。在兩側之間的彈簧鋼片,必須具有導電功能,因此,彈簧鋼片材料之選用,還必須考慮所需之導電能力,其反映彈簧鋼片之材料成本。
在結構型態中,前述兩種連接器所採用之形式,都必須讓端子鉗夾接點側及導線鉗夾點側形成一個足夠之間距,以免彼此相互干涉。因此,該種已知型態之連接器之絕緣材料外殼,其外型尺寸相當大。
本發明之任務係創造一種前述類型之連接器,該連接器之製造成本較低,且構造尺寸可顯著縮小,以便於窄小場合中做為單極或多極之連接器。
根據本發明,達成該任務之解決方式,係讓連接器之絕緣材料外殼,能為每一相連接之電導線提供一連接室,讓接觸端子及電導線能以約略平行方式並排插入,而使接觸端子及電導線於軸向上重疊。接觸端子係被固定架設於連接室裡,電導線則在一結構允許之滑動區內,橫過電導線之導線軸滑動(最好能平行的滑動),使薄片彈簧鉗夾點之薄片彈簧末端,能壓在接觸端子對面之電導線側面上,以便薄片彈簧之鉗夾力能往接觸端子方向施加於電導線上。
根據本發明之連接器,具有兩種基本應用形式。第一種應用形式中,電導線與接觸端子係為直接接觸(參見申請專利範圍第2項),因此,在該種應用形式中,不需額外的導電材料,即可完成電導線及接觸端子間之導電任務。可節省成本及材料。此種連接器之應用形式,較偏好運用於單蕊實心電導線上,因為位於連接器之連接室裡的薄片彈簧鉗夾點,不用預先張開即可插入導線。
該類新連接器之第二種應用形式,建議用於多蕊可撓電導線上,因為可撓之導線在插入連接器之連接室之前,薄片彈簧鉗夾點可被打開。該種連接器之應用形式之特徵為(參見申請專利範圍第3項),在電導線及接觸端子之間,於彼此的主軸重疊處,設有一接觸壁面,該接觸壁面能在電導線插入連接室的過程中,以導線之軸心方向導入,直到導線插入一位於底部、往接觸壁面之方向為開放之導線兜袋裡。利用此種接觸壁面之導引方式,可避免不必要的個別線蕊自多蕊可撓導線上散開。接觸壁面能在結構上允許之滑動區內,橫過電導線之導線軸滑動,並且能與該電導線同時往接觸端子推過去,使電導線直接和接觸壁面接觸,藉此使接觸壁面直接與接觸端子接觸。
具有前述特徵之連接器,製造成本特別低廉。在該類新連接器中,只用一小片彈簧鋼片,且僅用於建造薄片彈簧鉗夾點而已。只要薄片彈簧鉗夾點之薄片彈簧,能被架於絕緣材料外殼,則所運用之材料價格還可大幅降低。申請專利範圍第8項所述便與此相關,薄片彈簧鉗夾點係為一彎成U字形之雙臂薄片彈簧,具有一薄片彈簧鉗夾臂以及一薄片彈簧支撐臂,而薄片彈簧支撐臂則位於連接器之絕緣材料外殼內,利用定位凸點方式固定於絕緣材料外殼上。
減少連接器之結構高度,也屬本發明之範疇,即連接器所插放之接觸端子及電導線之軸向長度能重疊。只要電導線能插入到一位於連接器之接連室底部之連接壁面,使電導線末端能靠近導電端子或其他接觸端子之足點時,則可使重疊程度變為最大。藉由這種讓重疊部分變大的方式,可使連接器之結構高度,不會比所插入之電導線深度高出太多。
該種新連接器,每一極都設有一個或兩個電導線之連接室,根據申請專利範圍第4項所述,一具有兩個連接室之連接器,只需一個接觸端子便足夠,因為接觸端子可設置於兩個連接室中間,並同時作為兩個連接室之接觸端子。
根據本發明之連接器,原則上可插放於每個所需之接觸端子及/或連接端子上。本發明之申請專利範圍第5項建議,在連接室內之每一接觸端子頂端,以一絕緣材料之凸緣加以精確定位。接觸端子之定位精確度,可改善電導線於接觸端子上之接觸狀況。
申請專利範圍第6項所述之接觸端子之精確定位具相同目的,其使接觸端子之足部,能利用一位於側邊之支點,固定於連接器之絕緣材料外殼上。
接觸端子於連接器之絕緣材料外殼內之精確定位及固定裝設之方式,可視加工工廠之需求,於製造新連接器時,將接觸端子釘於連接器之連接室內,使加工工廠可直接把連接器露在外面之接觸端子足部,裝在例如一片導電板之焊接孔上,並加以焊接。
一種於足部設有隆起之接觸端子,係具優點的,因為其頂點垂線會在接觸端子之縱軸橫向上延伸(參見申請專利範圍第7項)。參照接觸端子縱軸上之電導線接觸線之後,可於兩條線之交叉點得到一點狀、具較高額定表面壓力之接觸點,以改善接觸點之電流流通狀況。
圖一所示為一穿過本發明之連接器之截面圖,其接觸端子3為插放狀態,並且被焊接於導電板4上。接觸端子3具有一隆起5,且利用絕緣材料之凸緣6,將其精確定位於絕緣材料外殼8之連接室7裡。
電導線9係由上側插放至連接器裡。在連接器之連接室7裡,接觸端子3及電導線9係緊鄰一起,並於縱軸上重疊。接觸端子及電導線9,係經由隆起5直接接觸,而使接觸端子及電導線之間,能進行電流之傳導。
電導線9(如圖一所示之外殼)係利用薄片彈簧11之彈簧力(鉗夾力),向左逆著接觸端子3滑動。滑動之過程,係於結構所允許之滑動區10裡進行。此種方式,能保證電導線永遠牢固的搭靠於接觸端子上。
在連接器內所設之薄片彈簧係U字形的,並由一片彈簧鋼片製成,且具一薄片彈簧鉗夾臂11,及一薄片彈簧支撐臂12。該彈簧係利用其頂端圓弧13及其支撐臂12,固定於絕緣材料外殼內。
在連接器之絕緣材料外殼內,通常設有一檢驗孔14。絕緣材料外殼,也可再配備一由絕緣材料製成之按壓器,該按壓器能夠用手操作,以便必要時,能把薄片彈簧鉗夾臂11自電導線9上壓開,使電導線之鉗夾被鬆開,並且讓該電導線能自連接器上被抽出。利用一絕緣材料外殼上所設之操作孔,並將一工具(例如一支螺絲起子)伸入至薄片彈簧鉗夾臂11上,通常也可得到相同結果,如圖三所示。
圖二所示係一屬於本發明類型之多極連接器之透視圖,其具一由絕緣材料所製成之塊狀外殼15。在塊狀外殼內所設置之總數為五個的單極連接器,皆具有相同結構,且均與圖一所示之應用實例相同。其以交替換邊之方式排列。這種排列方式是省空間的,但也可以由其他任何一種所需之排列方式取代。
圖三所示為本發明之單極連接器之截面透視圖,其具一連接室16,而該連接室具有能夠連接多芯可撓導線17之特徵。該連接室左邊緊鄰著一個接觸壁面18,該壁面係置於可撓之導線17及接觸端子19之間,而且能夠在結構上所允許的滑動區20內,橫過電導線17之導線軸滑動,並且能與該導線同時往接觸端子19推過去,以便於接觸端子、接觸壁面、及可撓之導線之間,牢固的建立一個良好之導電連接。在插入的過程中,接觸壁面18會導引可撓之導線,直到進入一位於底部、往接觸壁面方向為開放之導線兜袋21裡,並因而防止插入過程中,使個別之線芯自多芯之可撓導線17上散開。在薄片彈簧22及接觸壁面18之間的導線鉗夾點,可在該電導線需要被連接以及被鬆開時打開,而這只要把螺絲起子伸入至連接室裡之操作孔23,再利用螺絲起子將薄片彈簧自電導線上撥開即可。24則為一般之檢驗孔。
圖四所示為一連接器,其與圖一所示之連接器類似,然而,其插放於連接室裡之接觸端子25,具有一個位於下方之支點26,該支點之方向係逆著連接器之絕緣材料外殼,並且改善了接觸端子在連接室裡之定位精確度。
圖五所示為本發明之單極連接器之截面圖,其具兩個為電導線27及28而設之連接室,且僅需插在一個接觸端子29上,便可建立一個導電連接。接觸端子29在其縱軸方向上具有鏡面對稱之構造,並用來做為兩個連接室之接觸端子。端子兩邊分別設有一支點30,以確保連接器能夠定位精確的插放於接觸端子上。
連接器通常都是插放於導電板上之接觸端子,或是插放於其他的相對接點(例如裝設於一電氣器具上)之接觸端子上。而這一點,則可選擇在電導線連接至連接器之前或之後進行。必要時,例如一個與連接器連結一起之零件故障時,可以把連接器自接觸端子上拔除,然後把完整的一群零件(例如由故障的零件,以及與該零件結合在一起之連接器所構成)與新的一群零件互換的話,對於作業技術係具優勢的。
實務上,某些應用實施例不允許新連接器自接觸端子上拔除,也就是說,接觸端子應具備一個防滑扣,防止接觸端子自連接器之連接室裡被拔出來。該種方式係如圖六至圖八所示。
圖六所示為一連接器,該連接器與圖四所示之應用實例類似,不過其接觸端子額外設有一防滑扣,在此應用實例中,該防滑扣係以逆鉤式定位鈕31之方式,卡在相對應連接器之絕緣材料外殼上之凹槽。
圖七及圖八顯示兩個連接器,該連接器之絕緣材料外殼係以如下方式建構成型,即讓兩個連接器共同形成一個導電用插座。在其基本架構中,連接器32及33與圖四所示之應用實施例類似,不過在圖左之連接器32中,其(由兩個連接器共用)接觸端子34設有一防滑扣35,扣在絕緣材料外殼36上,而圖右之連接器33中,其絕緣材料外殼37能夠從(兩個連接器所共用)接觸端子34上抽出,而使圖式中之導電插座被開啟。
圖九至圖十五顯示兩個根據本發明原理建造之連接器之應用實施例,當連接器本身被焊接於導電板上時,本實施例也可優良的用來做為插入式連接器,插在一個彎折之接觸端子上。
圖十一所示為一片導電板38,板上係以間隔排列方式,焊接著較長的彎折接觸端子39及較短的彎折接觸端子40,這種間隔的排列方式,可以保證導電板38上之接觸端子之焊點,能有一個足夠且彼此不會互相干擾之間距。
在彎折之接觸端子所設之插入式連接器,其截面圖係如圖九及圖十所示。圖十二及圖十三所示為一設於共同絕緣材料塊狀外殼上之六極連接器41。圖十一及圖十二所示為六極連接器41尚未
插在導電板38上之彎折接觸端子前之圖式。圖十三所示為同一個六極連接器經插入之後之圖式。
圖十四所示為一具有彎折接觸端子之導電板42(與圖十一所示之導電板38相同),該導電板設於一電燈之限流器外殼43內部,以便本發明之六極連接器44,能毫無困難的以一次之插入程序,即可完成限流器至電燈之間之所有導線連接(參見圖十五)。

Claims (6)
- 一種具有電子連接器之裝置(32、33、41、44),至少一接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)及至少一電導線(9、17、27、28),- 其具一絕緣材料外殼(8、36、37),且於兩個彼此對立之側面間設有兩個插孔,其中一側之插孔係用來導入導電端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40),另一側則用來導入至少一條已去除絕緣之電導線末端(9、17、27、28),- 連接器於端子側設有一端子鉗夾接點,藉此使連接器(32、33、41、44)能在一片導電板(4、38、42)之接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)上,或在連接用之接觸端子(34)上,提供一額外之相對接點,- 在連接器(32、33、41、44)之導線側,每個被連接之電導線(9、17、27、28)均設有一片薄片彈簧(22),用以形成一薄片彈簧鉗夾點,而該薄片彈簧能於電導線(9、17、27、28)插入之方向,逆著導線斜向張開,並以薄片彈簧之末端,將所插入之已去除絕緣的電導線(9、17、27、28)末端卡住,- 連接器(32、33、41、44)之絕緣材料外殼(8、36、37),能為每一相連接之電導線(9、17、27、28)提供一連接室(7、16),讓接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)及電導線(9、17、27、28)能以約略平行之方式並排插入,而使接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)及電導線(9、17、27、28)於軸向上重疊,- 接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)係被固定架設於 連接室(7、19)裡,- 且薄片彈簧鉗夾點之薄片彈簧末端,能夠壓在接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)對面的電導線(9、17、27、28)側面上,以便薄片彈簧(11、22)之鉗夾力能往接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)之方向施加於電導線(9、17、27、28)上,其特徵為,- 接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)之頂端設有隆起(5),使頂點垂線於接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)之縱軸橫向上延伸,並於所接觸之電導線(9、17、27、28)方向凸起,- 電導線(9、17、27、28)在一結構容許之滑動區(10、20)橫對其導線軸向可滑動,- 且薄片彈簧鉗夾點之薄片彈簧端部在大約隆起(5)高度接著在電導線(9、17、27、28)上。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其特徵為,- 電導線(9、17、27、28)與接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)係為直接接觸。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其特徵為,- 連接器(9、17、27、28)具有兩個連接室(7、16),- 且接觸端子(29)設於兩個連接室(7、16)中間,並同時作為兩個連接室(7、16)之接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其特徵為,- 接觸端子(3、19、25、29、34、39、40)頂端,係一絕緣 材料之凸緣(6),精確定位於連接器(32、33、41、44)之絕緣材料外殼(8、36、37)內。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其特徵為,- 接觸端子之足部,係利用一位於側邊之支點(26、30),固定於連接器之絕緣材料外殼上。
- 根據申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其特徵為,- 薄片彈簧鉗夾點係一個彎成U字型之雙臂薄片彈簧(22),具有一個薄片彈簧鉗夾臂(11)及一個薄片彈簧支撐臂(12),- 而薄片彈簧支撐臂(12)則位於連接器之絕緣材料外殼內,利用定位凸點方式固定於絕緣材料外殼(8、36、37)上。
