Description

用以施加接觸壓力於片材之輥輪
本發明係有關用以施加壓力於一或多片材之輥輪。
在輪胎生產中,材料被接合在一起。為此目的,以適當壓力將一片橡膠壓在另一片橡膠上。這造成片材永久性接合在一起。待接合在一起的片材常常並非平面。結果,必須不斷將一狹窄條帶接合至一寬很多的片材。藉由層疊器輥輪生成所需要的壓力。已知具有使多重個別的碟安裝至一軸之層疊器輥輪。
圖1顯示此習知層疊器輥輪的示意立體剖視圖。圖中顯示安裝至一軸之多重的碟。各碟塗覆有一不黏材料,且碟能夠在軸上彼此獨立地自由旋轉。各碟進一步在中心具有一孔,其明顯大於軸的直徑,讓各個碟在徑向方向得以移離該軸。由於層疊器輥輪之個別的碟可相對於彼此改變其位置,層疊器輥輪可依照待接合片材的表面輪廓作調整。片材上的壓力係單獨由碟的重量所生成。因此,可只在重力方向施加壓力的力量。為了達成一夠大壓力,碟必須具有一特定重量。此外,必須確保個別的碟不會彼此黏在一起,否則所想要的接觸壓力將不會平均地分佈於整體寬度。因此,每一個碟均需要涉及高成本之高品質之精製表面,這是必要的,譬如,縱使殘留的橡膠粒子沉積在各碟之間,仍必須防止各碟黏在一起。
本發明揭露用以施加接觸壓力於一或多個片材之輥輪及其使用技術。
根據一面向,一用以施加接觸壓力於一或多個片材之輥輪係提供一其上配置有複數個碟之輥輪軸。碟可在徑向方向移動並施加接觸壓力至一或多個片材。碟的接觸壓力可被氣動式或液壓式施加或控制。
可經由輥輪內部的一內部壓力來控制碟的接觸壓力。輥輪內部的壓力可在空間的一特定方向上被導引至碟。空間的一特定方向上係指碟將被強迫成為一特別方向,較佳與片材呈相對,且這與重力無關。
在一些實施例中,輥輪軸為中空且提供一凹部,讓碟的接觸壓力得以經由配置於輥輪軸內部之一內輥輪軸體中的內部壓力被控制。此裝置可包括一管及一管狀分離層,其中分離層係包圍該管且設置於管與碟之間。分離層可直接地附接至管。
在一些實施例中,分離層係至少部份地由撓性金屬製成,特別是一由簧鋼或箔製成的梳板。管在各端被一插塞所封閉。
在不同實施例中,輥輪可提供一或多項下列特徵。可以一設置於插塞的一者內部之閥來控制管內部的壓力。可藉由各側上的一固持環將碟固接於軸上。碟可具有一不黏塗層。可進一步藉由改變輥輪內部之裝置的內部壓力在操 作期間即時地調整接觸壓力。在特定實施例中,可取得一電子精密壓力閥以使輥輪內部之裝置的內部壓力精密地匹配於生產製程參數。
此型輥輪可使用於片材的層疊,特別是使用於輪胎生產中的層疊製程。
特定實施例可提供一或多項下列優點。可經由軸內部的壓力來控制輥輪施加至待接合材料之接觸壓力。結果,輥輪可使用於大量的不同應用而不需改變該設計。可即時地調整輥輪的接觸壓力。經由位於軸的一側上之切口,壓力直接從軸內部傳遞至個別的碟。輥輪內部的內部壓力可被氣動式或液壓式控制。這代表因為不再單獨藉由碟的重量負責所需要的接觸壓力,故可使用顯著較輕的碟或具有較小維度的碟。因此可能使用顯著更合乎成本效益的碟。因此大幅地降低了碟黏在一起且因此施加不平均壓力之危險。
參照附圖以較佳實施例為基礎來說明本發明。圖2顯示一用以施加接觸壓力於一或多個片材之輥輪1的一實施例之範例。此分解圖將用來說明一可能的設計選項及操作方法。
圖2中,軸2為中空。軸2提供往下方向之一切口。一分離層5插入軸2中且附接於該處。以使分離層5設置於軸2與管4之間的方式將一管4定位於軸2內部。分離 層5亦可作為管4的保護物。其亦可用來將力從管4傳遞至碟3。
分離層5可至少部份地由撓性金屬或一箔製成。特定實施例中,分離層5可包括一將力從管4傳遞至碟3之簧鋼梳板。此簧鋼梳板可根據其徑向位置讓一額外、預定的力傳遞至個別的碟3。
管4的端係由插塞6所封閉。插塞6的至少一者在特定的較佳實施例中提供一閥8,其可用來調整管4內部的內部壓力。插塞6可在其外前側上提供可供輥輪1附接之凹部或突部。
個別的碟3被推押至軸2上。碟3能夠繞固定的軸2旋轉。特定實施例中,以使軸2被固定同時在操作期間只有碟3繞軸2旋轉之方式來組裝完整的輥輪1。在該等側上,碟3可被固持環7固接以維持其軸2的側向位置。依據應用選擇碟3的厚度。以碟3可相對於軸2在徑向方向移動之方式使碟3中之孔的直徑匹配於軸2的外徑。這可讓碟3依照一或多個片材的表面輪廓作調整。這進一步顯示於圖3及圖4。
圖3顯示輥輪1且合併具有兩片材10、11(sheet of material)之立體圖。譬如,片材兩者均可為一橡膠狀材料。為了利用接觸壓力將其接合在一起,可使用根據此處所述實施例的一者之一輥輪1。對於片材10、11之層疊步驟可包括額外使用膠劑。亦可以施熱進行該製程。此處所述的輥輪絕不限於用以接合或層疊橡膠型材料之應用。其亦可 使用於藉由一輥輪1施加壓力之其他製程中。
圖3亦顯示碟3可以使其將依照片材10、11的表面輪廓作調整之方式沿著軸2的徑向方向移位。此範例中,輥輪1的內碟已移位至頂部。片材11的傾斜部亦被碟3所匹配。
圖4顯示一範例輥輪1的正視圖。由於片材11,設置於此片材上方的碟3係往上移位藉以匹配片材10、11的表面輪廓。亦顯示包括有插塞6及閥8之軸2,固持環7亦然。此範例中,軸2具有42 mm的一外徑而碟3的外徑則為66 mm。這些維度只是範例且可根據所想要的應用作選擇。
圖5顯示來自圖4沿著線B-B之剖視圖。圖中顯示根據一實施例之軸2及管4、分離層5及碟3的架構。軸2提供一往下切口以讓來自管4的力得以經由分離層5傳遞至碟3。此範例中,幾乎已切出軸2的整個半段。如此範例所示,軸2可提供朝向切口之扁平化(flattening)。若軸2的外徑與碟3的內徑相似且軸2接近為一半圓形段或更大,則特別需要此作用,因為該設計必須確保如第5圖所示的碟3必須能夠相對於軸2在垂直方向上移位。必須藉由輥輪的設計且特別藉由使軸2匹配於碟3來確保碟3在徑向方向-其在第5圖中亦為垂直方向-之運動。此處所示的範例只是符合此條件的許多選項之一。
經由譬如可由撓性金屬製成之分離層5,管4的內部壓力所產生之力係傳遞至碟3。然而,此處所示的範例中,管4的內部壓力很低而使得分離層5尚未壓抵住碟3。譬如若 輥輪1的軸2將被降低,則分離層5會接觸到碟3。依據接觸壓力將如何隨著不同的碟而變化,可對於分離層5選擇不同的材料及/或設計。譬如,可使用具有不同厚度及不同彈性的箔或金屬。可使用簧鋼梳板藉以增加經由分離層5對於各碟之重設力(reset force)。
圖6顯示側視圖的一範例。圖中顯示具有一插塞6及一閥8之前側。亦包括有一固持環7及碟3。此實施例中,插塞6提供位於中心之一孔,其用來支撐或安裝輥輪。此實施例係以軸2被固定且只有碟3自由地旋轉之假設為基礎。
圖7顯示沿著圖6的線A-A之示意圖。圖中顯示可如何經由閥8及插塞6中的一開口來控制輥輪的內部壓力。亦可看見位於底側之軸2中的切口。此處亦如同在圖5中,輥輪的內部壓力不夠高或者輥輪軸遠高於材料上方所以分離層尚未施加任何力於碟3上。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種用以施加接觸壓力於一或多個片材(10,11)之輥輪(1),其中該輥輪(1)具有一輥輪軸(2),其上配置有複數個碟(3),其中該等碟可在徑向方向上移動且施加接觸壓力至該一或多個片材(10,11),其特徵在於:該等碟的接觸壓力可被氣動式或液壓式施加或控制,其中該等碟(3)的接觸壓力可經由該輥輪(1)內部的一內部壓力被控制,其中該輥輪軸(2)為中空且具有一凹部,容許該等碟的接觸壓力得以經由配置於該輥輪軸(2)內部之一內輥輪軸體中的該內部壓力而被控制,其中該內輥輪軸體包含一管(4)及一管狀分離層(5),其中該分離層(5)包圍該管(4)且設置於該管與該等碟之間。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之輥輪(1),其中該輥輪內部的壓力作用於該等碟(3)的方向上。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之輥輪(1),其中該分離層(5)直接地附接至該管。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之輥輪(1),其中該分離層至少部份地由一撓性金屬製成,特別是一由簧鋼或箔製成之梳板。
