Abstract

To provide a motorcycle equipped with a stand locking device turnable between the rising position and the accommodated position and capable of changing over a stand attached to the body frame between two conditions being operated from the manipulation of a control lever, i.e. the locked condition to lock the stand in the rising position and the unlocked condition with the lock condition disengaged, in which the operating easiness of the control lever is enhanced while such an occurrence is precluded that an increase in the capacity of an accommodation box influences the installing position of the control lever. The control lever 83 is installed in the accommodation box 30 arranged under a seat 45 for a driver etc. to get on and is supported on the front wall 30c of the accommodation box 30 in such a way as admitting manipulation.
