Abstract
本發明提供聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其係即使不添加含氟基之界面活性劑或分散劑,亦因微粒子徑而為低黏度、保存安定性優異,可對電性基板等之硬化物賦予對於粗化溶劑之耐性,且可適於容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。
本發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其特徵係至少包含以含有選自下述A群之至少1種單體所合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯及非水系溶劑,非水系分散體之聚四氟乙烯粒子之利用動態光散射法所測定之平均粒徑(散射強度分布中之累積(cumulant)法解析之平均粒徑)為1μm以下。

Description
本發明有關聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,更詳言之,有關可適用於各種電子機器之基板材料所用之電路基板用組成物等之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體。
近幾年來,隨著電子機器之高速化、高機能化等進展,而要求通訊速度之高速化等。其中,要求各種電子機器之基板材料之低介電率化、低介電正切化,而亦要求可使用於基板材料等之熱塑性樹脂之低介電率化、低介電正切化等。
作為低介電率、低介電正切之材料,於樹脂材料中具有最優異特性之聚四氟乙烯(PTFE,比介電率2.1,介電正切0.0002)備受矚目。
過去以來,為了實現電子基板之低介電化,已檢討於樹脂硬化物中分散PTFE微粉末。使用廣泛使用之含氟基之界面活性劑或分散劑所製作之PTFE分散體若添加於環氧樹脂等,則硬化物對粗化溶液之抗性弱,而使樹脂變得破破爛爛,而有於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷變困難之問題等。
另一方面,以往中,作為PTFE之分水系分散體,提案有例如至少包含特定量之一次粒徑為1μm以下之PTFE與特定物性之氟系添加劑,藉由卡爾費歇爾(Karl Fischer)法測定之全體水分量為20000ppm以下的PTFE之油性溶劑系分散體,或至少包含特定量之PTFE微粉末與以特定式表示之化合物,藉由卡爾費歇爾法測定之全體水分量為8000ppm以下的PTFE微粉末之分水系分散體(由本案申請人申請之專利文獻1、2)。
該等PTFE之非水系分散體係微粒徑且低黏度、保存安定性優異者,添加於各種樹脂材料之際亦可均一混合者,但仍殷切期盼可適用於下述之聚四氟乙烯非水系分散體,即適用於在添加於被要求精密性等之電子基板等之硬化性樹脂,除了維持電子基板之低介電化等以外,進而提高硬化物對粗化溶液之耐性,或可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。

[發明欲解決之課題]
本發明係針對上述先前之課題及現狀,欲消除該等而完成者,目的在於提供聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其電性特性(低介電率與低介電正切)優異,同時為微粒子徑且為低黏度、保存安定性優異,可對電性基板等之硬化物賦予對於粗化溶劑之耐性,且可適於可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。
[用以解決課題之手段]
本發明人等針對上述以往課題積極檢討之結果,發現藉由至少包含含有特定單體合成之特定丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯與非水系溶劑之下述本第1發明至本第7發明,而獲得上述目的之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,因而完成本發明。
亦即,本第1發明係一種聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其特徵係至少包含以含有選自下述A群之至少1種單體而合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯及非水系溶劑,非水系分散體之聚四氟乙烯粒子之利用動態光散射法所測定之平均粒徑(散射強度分布中之累積(cumulant)法解析之平均粒徑)為1μm以下。
A群:(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸第三丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-甲基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸苄酯、二(甲基)丙烯酸三乙二醇酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸-6-甲基庚酯。
本第2發明係本第1發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之重量平均分子量Mw為5千以上、未達17萬。
本第3發明係本第1發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述非水系分散體中,聚四氟乙烯之含量為5~70質量%,丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之含量相對於聚四氟乙烯質量為0.1~30質量%。
本第4發明係本第1發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述非水系分散體中,相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量含有以下述式(I)表示之化合物0.1~15質量%,

本第5發明係本第2發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述非水系分散體中,相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量含有以下述式(I)表示之化合物0.1~15質量%,
本第6發明係本第3發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述非水系分散體中,相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量含有以上述式(I)表示之化合物0.1~15質量%。
本第7發明係本第1發明至本第6發明中任一者之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體係使用於電路基板用組成物或電路基板用接著劑組成物。
[發明效果]
依據本發明,可提供聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其即使不添加含氟基之界面活性劑或分散劑,亦為微粒子徑且為低黏度、保存安定性優異,可對電性基板等之硬化物賦予對於粗化溶劑之耐性,且可適於可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。
以下詳細說明本發明之實施形態。
本第1發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體的特徵係至少包含以含有選自下述A群之至少1種單體而合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯及非水系溶劑,非水系分散體之聚四氟乙烯粒子之利用動態光散射法所測定之平均粒徑(散射強度分布中之累積(cumulant)法解析之平均粒徑)為1μm以下。

<丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑>
本發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體所用之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑係以含有選自上述A群之至少1種單體而合成者,成為可發揮電性特性優異之聚四氟乙烯之分散性優異的機能,同時非水系分散體之保存性優異,可最大限度賦予電性基板等之硬化物對粗化溶液之耐性,使用於電路基板用組成物或電路基板用接著劑組成物之情況等,可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷。
本發明所用之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑舉例為1)選自上述A群之單體的均聚物,2)自上述A群中選擇2種以上之單體而合成之共聚物,以及3)自上述A群中選擇之至少1種與其他單體合成之共聚物等。

作為自上述A群選擇之單體的均聚物舉例為例如甲基丙烯酸苄酯等。
作為自上述A群選擇2種以上之單體而合成之共聚物舉例為例如(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯與(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸-6-甲基庚酯之共聚物等,特佳期望為(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯與(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯之共聚物。
作為自上述A群中選擇之單體與其他單體之共聚物舉例為例如(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸異丁之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸-2-甲氧基乙酯之共聚物、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯與(甲基)丙烯酸-2-羥基乙酯之共聚物等。
本發明所用之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑係由上述1)~3)舉例之均聚物、共聚物所構成者,可藉由使上述1)單獨單體使用聚合起始劑等進行聚合而製造,或使上述2)、3)之組合而成之混合單體使用過硫酸銨、過硫酸鉀、過氧化氫等作為聚合起始劑,且使用進而併用還原劑之聚合起始劑,進而根據需要使用聚合性界面活性劑進行聚合等而製造。
本發明中,構成丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之聚合物成分中,自上述A群選擇之單體的合計,基於除了PTFE之分散性、保存安定性等之機能以外,更能發揮提高對粗化溶液之耐性之本發明效果之觀點,期望較佳為聚合物構成中之20質量%以上,更佳為50質量%以上~100質量%。
特佳為上述2)之聚合物(共聚物)中,自上述A群選擇2種而合成者,各單體之質量比更佳為1:9~9:1,期望為1:1。
作為上述根據需要可使用之聚合性界面活性劑若為上述聚合中通常使用之聚合性界面活性劑,則未特別限定,但例如作為聚合性界面活性劑為陰離子系或非離子系聚合性界面活性劑,舉例為例如花王公司製之LATEMUL S-180、同S-180A、同S-120A等之至少1種。該等聚合性界面活性劑之使用量,相對於上述單體總量,期望為0~50質量%,較佳為0.1~50質量%。
上述製法所得之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑的重量平均分子量Mw,基於PTFE分散性之觀點、保存安定性之觀點,期望較佳為5千以上、未達17萬,特佳為1萬以上10萬以下。
又,本發明中所謂重量平均分子量Mw係指以凝膠滲透層析儀測定之值。
以上述製法所得之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑成為可發揮電性特性優異之聚四氟乙烯之分散性優異的機能,同時非水系分散體之保存性優異,可最大限度對過去以來未曾有之電性基板等之硬化物賦予對粗化溶液之耐性,使用於電路基板用組成物或電路基板用接著劑組成物之情況等,可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷,使用於電路基板用組成物或電路基板用接著劑組成物之情況,特別有用。
該丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之含量,期望相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量,較佳含有0.1~30質量%,更佳為0.5~20質量%。
藉由將該含量設為0.1質量%以上,可發揮本發明之效果,另一方面,藉由設為30質量%以下,可不損及保存安定性,而使PTFE良好分散。
(聚四氟乙烯)
本發明所用之聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)係尤其作為低比介電率、低介電切之材料,具有樹脂材料中最優之特性,通常係藉由乳化聚合法所得者,例如可藉由氟樹脂手冊(里川孝臣編,日刊工業新聞社)中記載之方法等之一般使用之方法獲得。而且藉由前述乳化聚合所得之聚四氟乙烯經凝集・乾燥,而作為一次粒子凝集成之二次粒子以微粉末(micro-powder)回收者,但可使用一般使用之各種微粉末之製造方法。
本發明所用之聚四氟乙烯之微粉末之一次粒徑並未特別限定,但較佳藉由雷射繞射・散射法、動態光散射法、圖像影像法等測定之體積基準之平均粒徑(50%體積徑,中值徑)為1μm以下,就於非水系溶劑中更安定分散而言,期望為0.5μm以下,進而期望為0.3μm以下,藉此成為更均一之分散體。
該氟系樹脂之微粉末之一次粒徑超過1μm,則於非水系溶劑中容易沉降,而成為難以安定分散之傾向。
又,上述平均粒徑之下限值越低程度越良好,但就製造性、成本面而言,較佳為0.05μm以上。
又,本發明所用之聚四氟乙烯之微粉末之一次粒徑係表示例如於聚四氟乙烯微粉末之乳化聚合階段中測定之值(藉由雷射繞射・散射法或動態光散射法等所得之值)者,但於經乾燥作成粉體狀態之聚四氟乙烯微粉末之情況,由於一次粒子彼此之凝集力強,而容易使藉由雷射繞射・散射法或動態光散射法等測定一次粒徑,故亦可為表示藉由圖像影像法所得之值。作為測定裝置可舉例為例如FPAR-1000(大塚電子股份有限公司製)之動態裝散射法,或Microtrac(日機裝股份有限公司製)之雷射繞射・散射法,或Mac View(Mountech股份有限公司製)之圖像影像法等。
作為具體可使用之聚四氟乙烯微粉末可使用例如DYNEON TF微粉末TF-9201Z、DYNEON TF微粉末TF-9207Z(均為3M公司製)、Nano FLON119N、FLUORO E(均為SHAMROCK公司製)、TLP10F-1 (Chemours-Mitsui Fluoroproducts公司製)、KTL-500F(喜多村股份有限公司製)、Algoflon L203F(SOLVAY公司製)等。
該等聚四氟乙烯之含量,期望相對於非水系分散體總量,較佳含有5~70質量%,更佳含有10~50質量%。
該含量未達5質量%之情況,非水系溶劑的量變多,而使黏度極端降低,故聚四氟乙烯微粒子容易沉降,會有與樹脂等之材料混合時因非水系溶劑量較多導致之缺點例如去除溶劑需要時間故而欠佳之狀況發生。另一方面,超過70質量%而較多之情況,聚四氟乙烯彼此容易凝集,極難以以安定、具有流動性之狀態維持微粒子之狀態,故而欠佳。
<非水系溶劑>

該等非水系溶劑中,較佳係根據各用途(電路基板用、電路基板接著劑用等之用途)等而變動,但舉例為甲基乙基酮、環己酮、甲苯、二甲苯、N-甲基-2-吡咯啶酮、甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇、N,N-二甲基甲醯胺、N,N-二甲基乙醯胺、二氧環戊烷。
本發明所用之非水系溶劑較佳係利用卡爾費歇爾法測定之水分量為8000ppm以下[0≦水分量≦8000ppm]者。
本發明(包含後述實施例)中,利用卡爾費歇爾法之水分量之測定係依據JIS K 0068:2001者,例如可利用MCU-610(京都電子工業公司製)進行。
認為因所用之非水系溶劑之極性而提高與水之相溶性,但若具有超過8000ppm之水分量,則聚四氟乙烯於非水系溶劑中之分散性顯著受阻礙,阻礙以後述之式(I)表示之化合物對非水系溶劑之溶解性等,而成為黏度上升或引起粒子彼此凝集之要因。
本發明中,藉由將非水系溶劑中之水分量設為8000ppm以下,可因微粒徑而成為低黏度、保存安定性更優異之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體。更佳非水系溶劑之水分量為5000ppm以下,更佳3000rpm以下,特佳為2500ppm以下。
本發明所用之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體中,在不損及本發明效果之範圍內,可與丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑組合,亦可使用其他界面活性劑或分散劑或以後述之式(I)表示之化合物。
例如,不管為氟系或非氟系,可舉例為非離子系、陰離子系、陽離子系等之界面活性劑或分散劑、非離子系、陰離子系、陽離子系等之高分子界面活性劑或高分子分散劑等,但可不限定於該等地使用。
<以式(I)表示之化合物>
較佳,基於更發揮本發明效果,期望相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量含有以下述式(I)表示之化合物0.1~15質量%。
[上述式(I)中,l、m、n為正整數]。
以下述式(I)表示之化合物,藉由以微粒子與上述丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑併用而可使聚四氟乙烯於非水系溶劑中更均一且安定地分散。其分子構造係由乙烯基丁縮醛/乙酸乙烯酯/乙烯醇構成之三元聚合物,係使聚乙烯醇(PVA)與丁醛(BA)反應者,具有丁醛基、乙醯基、羥基之構造,藉由使該等3種構造之比率(l、m、n之各比率)變化,而可更加控制對非水系溶劑之溶解性,進而控制將聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體添加於各種樹脂材料之計的化學反應性。
作為上述式(I)表示之化合物,於市售品,可使用積水化學工業公司製S LEC B系列、K(KS)系列、SV系列、KURARAY公司製MOWITAL系列等。
具體舉例為積水化學工業公司製之商品名;S LEC BM-1(羥基量:34莫耳%,丁醛化度65±3莫耳%,分子量:4萬)、同BH-3(羥基量:34莫耳%,丁醛化度65±3莫耳%,分子量:11萬)、同BH-6(羥基量:30莫耳%,丁醛化度69±3莫耳%,分子量:9.2萬)、同BX-1(羥基量:33±3莫耳%,乙醛化度66莫耳%,分子量:10萬)、同BX-5(羥基量:33±3莫耳%,乙醛化度66莫耳%,分子量:13萬)、同BM-2(羥基量:31莫耳%,丁醛化度68±3莫耳%,分子量:5.2萬)、同BM-5 (羥基量:34莫耳%,丁醛化度65±3莫耳%,分子量:5.3萬)、同BL-1 (羥基量:36莫耳%,丁醛化度63±3莫耳%,分子量:1.9萬)、同BL-1H(羥基量:30莫耳%,丁醛化度69±3莫耳%,分子量:2萬)、同BL-2(羥基量:36莫耳%,丁醛化度63±3莫耳%,分子量:2.7萬)、同BL-2H(羥基量:29莫耳%,丁醛化度70±3莫耳%,分子量:2.8萬)、同BL-10(羥基量:28莫耳%,丁醛化度71±3莫耳%,分子量:1.5萬)、同KS-10(羥基量:25莫耳%,乙醛化度65±3莫耳%,分子量:1.7萬)等或KURARAY(股)製之商品名;MOWITAL B145(羥基量:21~26.5莫耳%,乙醛化度67.5~75.2莫耳%)、同B16H(羥基量:26.2~30.2莫耳%,乙醛化度66.9~73.1莫耳%,分子量1~2萬)等。
該等可單獨使用或混合2種以上使用。
上述式(I)表示之化合物之含量,相對於聚四氟乙烯微粉末,較佳為0.1~15質量%。藉由將該化合物之含量設為0.1質量%以上,可發揮與上述丙烯酸樹脂分散安定性之相乘作用,藉由設為15質量%以下,成為可高度發揮本發明效果者。
再者,若考慮於電路用組成物所用之環氧樹脂、聚醯亞胺樹脂前驅物材料等之各種硬化樹脂材料等中添加聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體之際的特性,則期望為0.1~10質量%,進而期望為0.1~5質量%,特別是最佳為0.1~3質量%。
作為本發明所用之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體,若為至少包含以含有選自上述A群之至少1種單體所合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯及非水系溶劑的非水系分散體,則未特別限定,但可藉由至少使用一次粒徑為1μm以下之聚四氟乙烯之微粉末、上述丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、非水系溶劑,較佳進而使用以式(I)表示之化合物等而調製等。
本發明之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體可藉由使以含有選自上述A群之至少1種單體所合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑與聚四氟乙烯等於非水系溶劑中充分混合,例如使用分散機、超音波分散機、行星式混合機、3輥混合機、球磨機、珠磨機、噴射磨機、均質機等之各種攪拌機、分散機而混合分散,藉此可獲得長期保存時亦安定之目的的分散體。
該等各種攪拌機、分散機係根據各種材料之種類、調配比例、上述攪拌混合之非水系分散體之黏度等而選定最適當者。
本發明之上述非水系分散體係分散狀態之聚四氟乙烯之平均粒徑(散射強度分布中之累積法解析之平均粒徑)為1μm以下者。
即使使用一次粒徑為1μm以下之聚四氟乙烯之情況,通常一次粒子亦會凝集,而作為2次粒子成為粒徑為1μm以上之微粉末。藉由使該聚四氟乙烯之微粉末之二次粒子分散為1μm以下之粒徑,例如使用分散機、超音波分散機、3輥混合機、濕式球磨機、珠磨機、濕式噴射磨機、高壓均質機等之分散機,可獲得因低黏度而長期保存時亦安定之分散體,進而亦可與目的之一的電路基板用組成物均一混合。
本發明之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體藉由卡爾費歇爾法測定之水分量較佳為8000ppm以下[0≦水分量≦8000ppm]。
除了非水系分散體所含之水分量以外,亦考慮聚四氟乙烯之微粉末或丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑等之材料本身所含之水分,或將聚四氟乙烯之微粉末分散於非水系溶劑中之製造步驟中自外部混入之水分(空氣中之水分、裝置壁面之結露水等),但最終將聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體的水分量設為8000ppm以下,可獲得保存安定性更優異之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體。更佳,期望非水系分散體之水分量為5000ppm以下,更佳為3000ppm以下,特佳為2500ppm以下。
又,本發明(包含後述之實施例等)中,卡爾費歇爾法之水分量之測定係依據JIS K 0068:2001者,利用MCU-610(京都電子工業公司製)進行。
為了將非水系分散體之水分量及聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體之水分量設為8000ppm以下,可使用一般使用之非水系溶劑之脫水方法,但例如可使用分子篩等。且,聚四氟乙烯或丙烯酸樹脂安定化劑或上述(I)表示之化合物可藉由加熱或減壓等進行脫水以充分降低水分量之狀態使用。
再者,製作聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體後,亦可使用分子篩或膜分離法等去除水分,但除上述方法以外,若為可降低非水系分散體之水分量者,則可未特別限定地使用。
本發明中使用上述非水系溶劑,但亦可與其他非水系溶劑組合使用或使用其他非水系溶劑,係根據所用用途(電路基板用組成物之各種熱硬化樹脂材料或接著劑)等而選擇適當者。
所用非水系溶劑之含量係上述氟系樹脂之微粉末、上述(I)表示之化合物等之剩餘部分。
本發明之聚四氟乙烯之非水系分散體即使不添加含氟基之界面活性劑或分散劑,亦因微粒子徑而為低黏度、保存安定性優異,可對電性基板等之硬化物賦予對於粗化溶劑之耐性,且可適於容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。
[實施例]
以下針對本發明,參考實施例、比較例更詳細說明。又,本發明並非限定於下述實施例等。
(製造例1~7:丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑之製造)
藉由下述製造例1~7,製造各丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑。
(製造例1)
於2升燒瓶中,安裝攪拌機、回流冷卻器、溫度計、氮氣導入管,設置於溫水槽中,饋入丙二醇單甲醚乙酸酯(簡稱PGMEA)500g、2,2’-偶氮雙(異丁腈)(簡稱AIBN) 3g、作為A群之單體的甲基丙烯酸丁酯150g與丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯150g,邊導入氮氣邊將內溫升溫至80℃反應30分鐘,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑1)。
所得共聚物之重量平均分子量(Mw)以凝膠滲透層析儀測定。
(製造例2)
除了反應時間設為1小時以外,與上述製造例1同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑2)。
(製造例3)
除了反應時間設為4小時以外,與上述製造例1同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑3)。
(製造例4)
除了反應時間設為8小時以外,與上述製造例1同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑4)。
(製造例5)
除了反應時間設為10小時以外,與上述製造例1同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑5)。
(製造例6)
除了作為A群之單體使用甲基丙烯酸丁酯150g及甲基丙烯酸環己酯150g以外,與上述製造例3同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑6)。
(製造例7)
除了作為A群之單體使用丙烯酸-2-乙基己酯150g及甲基丙烯酸環己酯150g以外,與上述製造例3同樣,獲得丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑7)。
[實施例1~18及比較例1、2、參考例1]
使用由上述製造例1~7所製造之各丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑1~7),藉由下述所示各方法調製各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體。實施例1~18及比較例1、2、參考例1之調配組成示於下述表1。
(實施例1)
作為聚四氟乙烯微粉末,使用平均粒徑為0.2μm之粉末。使用丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑(分散安定劑1)。且作為非水系溶劑使用甲基乙基酮[MEK]。
使用上述材料,製作下述表1所示而調配之聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體。製作時,使分散安定劑1充分溶解於非水系溶劑中之後,添加聚四氟乙烯微粉末,進而進行攪拌混合。如上述所得之聚四氟乙烯微粉末之混合液係使用橫型珠磨機,以0.3mm徑之氧化鋯珠粒進行分散。
為了去除5μm以上之粗大粒子,所得分散體以過濾器過濾,獲得聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體。
(實施例2)
除了使用分散安定劑2作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例3)
除了使用分散安定劑3作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例4)
除了使用分散安定劑4作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例5)
除了使用分散安定劑5作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例6)
除了使用分散安定劑6作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例7)
除了使用分散安定劑7作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例8)
除了使用分散安定劑3作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑,添加聚四氟乙烯微粉末0.4質量%等以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例9)
除了使用分散安定劑3作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑,添加聚四氟乙烯微粉末7.2質量%等以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例10)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑使用0.3質量%分散安定劑3以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例11)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑使用1.2質量%分散安定劑3以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例12)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑使用12質量%分散安定劑3以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例13)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑使用14質量%分散安定劑3以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例14)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑添加3質量%分散安定劑2,添加1質量%分散安定劑8以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例15)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑添加3質量%分散安定劑3,添加1質量%分散安定劑8以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例16)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑添加3質量%分散安定劑4,添加1質量%分散安定劑8以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例17)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑添加4質量%分散安定劑3,添加6質量%分散安定劑8以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(實施例18)
除了作為丙烯酸樹脂分散安定劑添加4質量%分散安定劑3,添加8質量%分散安定劑8以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(比較例1)
除了不添加分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(比較例2)
除了使用氟系分散安定劑(分散安定劑9)以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
(參考例1)
除了使用分散安定劑8作為分散安定劑以外,以與上述實施例1同樣方法製作分散體。
針對由上述實施例1~18及比較例1、2、參考例1所得之聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體,藉由以下各評價方法,針對對粗化溶液之耐性(對樹脂之濡濕性)、分散體之流動性、25℃保存1個月後之再分散性進行評價。
且,所得各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體中之PTFE之平均粒徑(散射強度分佈中之累積法解析之平均粒徑)係利用FPAR-1000(大塚電子股份有限公司製)以動態光散射法測定。
所得非水系分散體之利用卡爾費歇爾法之水分量之測定係利用MCU-610(京都電子工業公司製)進行。
該等結果示於下述表1。
(對粗化溶液之耐性的評價方法)
首先,藉以下方法製作添加有各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體之環氧樹脂硬化物。將雙酚A型環氧樹脂(DIC股份有限公司製:EPICLON 850-S) 5.0g、硬化劑(三菱化學股份有限公司製:ST12) 2.5g及聚四氟乙烯微粉末量40質量%之聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體2.1g混合、攪拌。該混合液滴下於不鏽鋼板上,於70℃環境下放置7天,使之乾燥、硬化。
添加有各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體之環氧樹脂硬化物於膨潤液(日本ATOTECH(股)製「Swelling Dip Securiganth P」,含二乙二醇單丁醚之氫氧化鈉水溶液)中於60℃浸漬10分鐘,其次於氧化劑(日本ATOTECH(股)製「Concentrate Compact CP」,過錳酸鉀濃度約6質量%,氫氧化鈉濃度約4質量%之水溶液)於80℃浸漬20分鐘,最終以中和劑(日本ATOTECH(股)製「Reduction Solution Securiganth P」,硫酸羥基胺水溶液)於40℃浸漬5分鐘。隨後,於80℃乾燥30分鐘。基於所得樹脂硬化物之狀態,利用SEM進行外觀評價,藉下述評價基準予以評價。
評價基準:
○:因粗化溶液僅使硬化物表面粗糙程度之狀態。
×:因粗化溶液而浸蝕至硬化物內部之破爛狀態。
(分散體之流動性評價方法)
基於所得各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體以滴管滴下於PET膜上之際的分散體擴展、以及自瓶內之靜置狀態急遽傾斜90度之際的分散體移動狀態,藉以下評價基準以目視進行評價。
評價基準
◎:滑順地流動。
○:流動。
△:具有構造黏性。
×:幾乎不流動。
(再分散性之評價方法)
所得各聚四氟乙烯微粉末之非水系分散體放入附蓋之玻璃容器(30ml,以下同)中,藉下述評價基準評價於25℃保存1個月後之再分散性。
評價基準
◎:容易再分散。
○:再分散。
△:雖成為可流動,但見到粒狀物。
×:難以再分散。
如由上述表1所了解,本發明範圍內之實施例1~18對粗化溶液具有耐性,分散體之流動性、保存安定性、再分散性優異。另一方面,本發明範圍外之比較例1,聚四氟乙烯微粉末無法分散安定化。且,比較例2雖分散體之流動性優異,但成為對粗化溶液之耐性差的結果。
[產業上之可利用性]
本發明之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,即使不添加含氟基之界面活性劑或分散劑,亦因微粒子徑而為低黏度、保存安定性優異,可對電性基板等之硬化物賦予對於粗化溶劑之耐性,且可適於可容易於樹脂硬化物上形成電路基板之配線用等之銅鍍敷的電路基板用組成物、電路基板接著劑用組成物等。
Claims (7)
- 一種聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其特徵係至少包含以含有選自下述A群之至少1種單體而合成之丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑、聚四氟乙烯及非水系溶劑,非水系分散體之聚四氟乙烯粒子之利用動態光散射法所測定之平均粒徑(散射強度分布中之累積(cumulant)法解析之平均粒徑)為1μm以下, A群:(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸第三丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-甲基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸環己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸苄酯、二(甲基)丙烯酸三乙二醇酯、(甲基)丙烯酸丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸-6-甲基庚酯。
- 如請求項1之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之重量平均分子量Mw為5千以上、未達17萬。
- 如請求項1之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述非水系分散體中,聚四氟乙烯之含量為5~70質量%,丙烯酸系樹脂分散安定劑之含量相對於聚四氟乙烯之質量為0.1~30質量%。
- 如請求項1至6中任一項之聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體,其中前述聚四氟乙烯的非水系分散體係使用於電路基板用組成物或電路基板用接著劑組成物。
