依本發明發現,在本發明揭示之牙膏組合物,使用藻酸鈉鈣黏合劑,其具有特定之藻酸鈉對藻酸鈣比率,且特別在牙膏組合物含有碳酸鈣,例如天然碳酸鈣(NCC),提供稠化、結合、發泡及流變性質,特別適合於牙膏組合物,且特別是條紋狀牙膏組合物。不期望被限制在任何特殊的理論,相信這些性質係導因於藻酸鹽之鈣離子交聯,而形成三度空間的網狀結構。本發明所揭示新穎的黏合劑,可取代牙膏組合物中之矽酸鎂鋁。
因此,在一些具體實例,本發明提供一種牙膏組合物,例如一種條紋狀牙膏,包含一種黏合劑系統及一種磨擦劑,其中黏合劑系統包含藻酸鈉鈣,其中藻酸鈉鈣具有鈉:鈣比率自7:1至4:1,如6:1至5:1,如約84:16。
本發明之藻酸鈉鈣黏合劑具有一些性質,如黏度、口感及發泡性質,其相當或優於矽酸鎂鋁。因此,本發明之藻酸鈉鈣黏合劑,可取代在牙膏組合物中之矽酸鎂鋁,且特別是在牙膏組合物中含有碳酸鈣,如天然碳酸鈣。
較佳地,本發明藻酸鈉鈣黏合劑存在牙膏的量自0.09%至1.1%,或0.1%,以牙膏重量計。
牙膏組合物更包含一種磨擦劑,包含從鈣鹽,如碳酸鈣及/或一種磷酸鈣磨擦劑,如磷酸三鈣(Ca3(PO4)2)、羥磷石灰(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2),
或磷酸二鈣二水合物(CaHPO4˙2H2O,本文有時亦稱之為DiCal)或焦磷酸鈣。在一個特殊的具體實例,磨擦劑包含或由碳酸鈣組成。任何已知碳酸鈣其在口腔用品技藝中是有用的,均適合包括在本發明之牙膏組合物。在一些具體實例,碳酸鈣是天然的碳酸鈣(NCC)。在本發明牙膏組合物中碳酸鈣之量是例如自25%至60%;30%至55%;35%至50%;40%至45%;或40%、41%、42%、43%、44%或45%,以牙膏重量計。
本發明牙膏組合物可更包含一或多種其他黏合劑,例如聚合物包括聚乙二醇、多醣類(如,纖維素衍生物,例如羧甲基纖維素,或多糖膠,例如,黃原膠或卡拉膠)。酸性聚合物,例如聚丙烯酸酯膠,可以其游離酸,或部分或全部中和成水溶性鹼金屬(如鉀及鈉)或銨鹽形式提供;同時包括合成性陰離子聚合之聚羧酸鹽類,如1:4至4:1順丁烯二酐或酸與其他可聚合的乙烯基不飽和單體之共聚物,較佳地,甲基乙烯基醚/順丁烯二酐,具有分子量(M.W)約30,000至約1,000,000,最佳的約300,000至約800,000。在一些較佳的具體實例,本發明牙膏組合物包含一種其他黏合劑(即除了本發明所揭示之藻酸鈉鈣)衍生自纖維素,較佳地,一種纖維素醚,例如羧甲基纖維素(CMC),如具有中至高度聚合化,如1000至3000,例如約2000,如以鈉鹽形式,如CMC 2000s,其量可有效提供所欲之黏度及安定性,如量高達5%,或自0.1%至3%;或自0.1%至2%,或自0.5%至1.5%,或1%,以牙膏重量計。
本發明牙膏組合物更包含濕潤劑,即一或多種濕潤劑。適當濕潤劑之實例包括多羥基醇(多元醇)如丙二醇、甘油、山梨醇、木糖醇或低分子量聚乙二醇(PEGs)。在不同具體實例,濕潤劑可防止牙膏或膠組合物當暴露在空氣時硬化,且同時亦作為甜味劑。在一些具體實例,濕潤劑系統主要或僅包含山梨醇如,其量自16%至26%,或自18%至24%;
或約21%,以牙膏重量計。然而,存在其他濕潤劑亦可提供滿意地牙膏性質是可預期的。
在一些具體實例,本發明組合物更包含一或多種稠化劑類(即稠化藥劑),其協助組合物得到適當的黏度。一般而言,存在組合物中稠化劑之量自1%至5%。稠化藥劑之實例包括,但不是限制,前揭之黏合劑,其亦調節黏度,例如羧乙烯基聚合物,卡拉膠(亦稱之為紅藻膠且更特別地微小-卡拉膠),纖維素聚合物如羥乙基纖維素、羧甲基纖維素(羧甲基纖維素)及其鹽類(如羧甲基纖維素鈉),天然膠如加拉亞膠、黃原膠、阿拉伯膠及黃蓍膠,膠體矽酸鎂鋁、膠體矽石,及其混合物。一個較佳的稠化劑是稠化劑矽石,例如其量自1%至3%,例如2%,以牙膏之重量計。
本發明牙膏組合物更包含一或多種清潔劑或界面活化劑。本發明有用的界面活性劑包括,但不是限制:陰離子、非離子,及兩性離子界面活性劑。界面活性劑可被用來,例如,提供配製物增加安定性,經由清淨力幫助清潔口腔表面,在震盪時增加組合物之發泡,如在刷牙時。適當的陰離子界面活性劑包括,例如,C8-20烷基硫酸之水溶性鹽、磺酸化C8-20脂肪酸單甘油酯、肌氨酸鹽及牛磺酸鹽;例如月桂硫酸鈉、椰子油單甘油酯磺酸鈉、月桂基胺酸鈉、月桂乙磺酸鈉、月桂醇聚醚羧酸鈉及十二烷基苯磺酸鈉,及其混合物。適當的非離子界面活性劑包括,例如,泊洛沙姆、聚氧乙烯山梨醇酯、乙氧基化脂肪醇、乙氧基化烷基酚、三級胺氧化物、三級膦氧化物、二烷基亞碸、及其混合物。在一個具體實例,牙膏包含月桂硫酸鈉,例如其量自1%至3%,或約2%。牙膏亦可或替代地含有一或多種非極性界面活性劑,例如乙二醇與丙二醇之聚合物或共聚物,如泊洛沙姆,即非離子的三塊共聚物,其由中間之疏水鏈的聚氧丙烯(聚(丙二醇)),被兩側兩個親水鏈聚氧乙烯(聚(乙二
醇))包圍所組成。兩個PEG區塊之約略長度是,在一些具體實例,平均約50-150重複單位,如約100重複單位,而聚丙二醇區塊之約略長度是平均約25-75重複單位,如約50-60重複單位。在一個具體實例,泊洛沙姆是泊洛沙姆407,亦已知是BASF商品名Pluronic F127,如,其量自0.5%至2%,例如約1%。例如,在一些特定具體實例,本發明牙膏組合物可含有月桂硫酸鈉及一種泊洛沙姆,如泊洛沙姆407。

在前揭一些具體實例,本發明牙膏組合物更包含一或多種甜味劑、香味劑及著色劑。可使用任何適當的香味或甜味材料。適當的香味成分之實例包括芳香油,如綠薄荷油、薄荷油、冬青油、丁香油、鼠尾草油、桉樹油、馬鬱蘭油、肉桂、檸檬及柑桔,及水楊酸甲酯。適當
的甜味劑包括蔗糖、乳糖、麥芽糖、木醇糖、賽克拉美鈉、紫蘇糖、AMP(天冬門醯胺基苯丙胺酸甲酯)、糖精及其相類物。適當地,香味劑及甜味劑可個別或一起,包含口腔保健組合物自約0.1%至5%以上。在一些具體實例,本發明牙膏組合物包含一或多種香味劑,其量自0.5%至2.0%;或1%。
其他各種材料可摻入本發明口腔製劑如美白劑,包括過氧化尿素、過氧化鈣、二氧化鈦、過氧化氫、聚乙烯四氫吡咯酮(PVP)錯合物及過氧化氫,防腐劑,維他命如維他命B6、B12、E及K,聚矽氧、葉綠素化合物,供治療牙齒敏感之鉀鹽如硝酸鉀及抗結石藥劑如三聚磷酸鈉,及二-與四-鹼金屬焦磷酸鹽如焦磷酸鹽二-及四鈉。這些藥劑,當存在,摻入本發明組合物之量,本質上不會負面影響所期望之性能與特性。
一般而言,前述各個佐劑可典型地摻入即用牙膏,其量高達5%,它們不會負面地影響本發明非滲流條紋狀牙齒用品之安定性與清潔功能。
因此本發明提供,在一個具體實例,黏合劑材料其包含藻酸鈉鈣,其具有鈉:鈣比率自7:1至4:1,如6:1至5:1,例如約84:16。
因此本發明提供,在其他具體實例,一種牙膏組合物,例如一種條紋狀牙膏,包含一種黏合劑系統及鈣鹽磨擦劑,其中黏合劑包含藻酸鈉鈣,其具有鈉:鈣比率自7:1至4:1,如6:1至5:1,例如約84:16;例如:

本發明更提供,在其他具體實例,一種在口腔減少細菌生長,清潔牙齒,去除齒斑,減少牙齒侵蝕,治療牙齒敏感,治療齒齦炎,及/或減少牙齒蛀蝕的方法,包括將任一種組合物1及其內含物之牙膏與口腔接觸。
本發明更提供,在其他具體實例,使用黏合劑包含藻酸鈉鈣,其具有鈉:鈣比率自7:1至4:1,如6:1至5:1,例如約84:16,依任一種組合物1及其內含物製造牙膏,用於如前段任一種方法。
圖顯示以0.10%SCA黏合劑進行流變實驗取得之圖形。
下列實施例進一步例示本發明之本質,但可了解的本發明並不限制於此。本說明書有關所有用量與比率,及在所附申請專利範圍,除非另外顯示,係以重量計。
測定含有不同量藻酸鈉鈣黏合劑配製物,其具有藻酸鈉對藻酸鈣比率84:16,相對於商品配製物,其含有一種天然碳酸鈣及1%羧甲基纖維素(CMC)及作為黏合劑之1%矽酸鎂鋁(MAS)之黏度性質。
使用不同量之SCA(0.2%,0.15%,0.11%,0.10%及0.09%)取代在商品配製物中之MAS。監測檢體之黏度及外觀一週,並比較作為對照組之市售商品牙膏。結果示於表1:
結果顯示,以0.10%(以重量計)SCA黏合劑取代MAS,得到與含有MAS商品配製物一致之起始與老化黏度。此外,亦觀察到含有相同SCA黏合劑之配製物,具有與商品配製物幾乎相同的非-滴流性質。
進行3個月加速安定性試驗,比較含有0.10%SCA黏合劑配製物與前揭作為對照組之商品配製物。
含有0.10%SCA黏合劑配製物,在試驗中顯示具有與對照配製物一致的老化黏度。
進行流變實驗,比較含有0.10%SCA配製物與前揭作為對照組之商品配製物。結果示於圖中,顯示兩種配製物具有相似之觸變性質,且二者都顯示明顯的觸變環,顯示二種配製物均適合用於條紋狀牙膏。
進行條紋試驗,比較含有0.10%SCA配製物與前揭作為對照組之商品配製物。兩種牙膏均顯示優異的條紋性質。
表現試驗是以5位志願者進行口感評估,比較含有0.10%SCA配製物與前揭作為對照組之商品配製物。4位認為SCA檢體具有較對照檢體更滑順的結構;3位認為對照檢體較容易分散,同時在口中具有較澀的口感;及3位認為在兩種檢體之牙膏稠度沒有顯著的差異。
基於這些結果,兩種檢體沒有顯著的差異。
進行發泡試驗,比較含有0.10%SCA配製物與前揭作為對照組之商品配製物之發泡效果。試驗使用Ross-Miles方法進行。含有0.10%SCA配製物具有發泡能力值142mm,而含有MAS商品配製物具有發泡能力值140mm,顯示兩種配製物具有一致的發泡能力。
本發明揭示關於具體實例,對於習於此技藝者,可了解的是各種修飾及變化,在不悖離本發明所附申請專利範圍定義之範圍是可達成的。
Claims (19)
- 一種牙膏,其包含一種黏合劑系統及一種鈣鹽磨擦劑,其中黏合劑系統包含藻酸鈉鈣,其具有鈉:鈣比率自7:1至4:1。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之牙膏,其中藻酸鈉鈣存在牙膏中之量自0.09%至1.1%,以牙膏重量計。
- 如前述申請專利範圍任一項之牙膏,其中磨擦劑包含碳酸鈣,其量自25%至60%,以牙膏重量計。
- 如前述申請專利範圍任一項之牙膏,更包含羧甲基纖維素,其量自0.1%至3%,以牙膏重量計。
