Abstract

This invention regards the fabrication method of a metal liquid-cooling apparatus. A polymer mold with flow channels and mold cavities inside is fabricated. After the metal powder filling, the flow channels and mold cavities are attached from both ends with metal plates. They are contacting each other, the metal plates and the filled metal powders. The mold is then sent for high temperature sintering to gasify the polymer part. It concretes together the metal powders and two metal plates as a whole structure. The structure is then sealed along its circumference by metal plates with a presetting filling hole left. The sealed structure is vacuumed and then filled with heat exchange fluid. The filling hole is then sealed and a porous-metal liquid-cooling apparatus is resulted.
