Abstract

The present invention relates to a clutching mechanism of the transmission system used in vehicles, for example, used in switching clutching mechanism for driving a vehicle forwardly or backwardly, and other clutching mechanism used for shifting gears in a transmission system. The clutching mechanism is characterized in that comprises a power input member, a power output member and a clutching mechanism provided between the power input member and the power output member. The clutching mechanism includes a cam mechanism and a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism includes a rotation shaft for assembling the cam mechanism, and a top-pressing resilient member provided on an active cam member of the cam mechanism and a top-pressing resilient member provided on a passive cam member. The design provided by the present invention allows the active cam member of the cam mechanism drives the passive member to move when the power input member is driving the rotation shaft to rotate, so that the pushing fork for shifting gears can be easily driven by the power output member provided on the passive cam member and generating simultaneous movement. Thus, a clutching operation for shifting gears in the transmission system is complete. When the pushing fork is restrained and can not be moved, the passive cam member can not be moved either. The rotation force is converted into a horizontal moving force by the active cam member so that the active cam member moves backwardly. When the restraint on the pushing fork is released, the active cam member recovers and immediately drives the passive cam member moves, so that a receiving fork can be easily driven by the power output member provided on the passive cam member and generating simultaneous movement. Thus, the clutching operation of shifting gears in the transmission system is complete. This can prevent the units from being damaged when the pushing fork is restrained and the passive cam member can not be moved.
