Abstract

An IC pick-and-place apparatus including several tray collecting areas, which respectively correspond to different classification of chip quality. The chips of the same classification are transferred by the pick-up head, and are placed into the tray. Thereafter, the full tray is then transferred into a corresponding tray collecting area. Therefore, the pick and place of the chips could be proceeded without interruption until all chips with every classification of quality are collected.
