Abstract

An adjustable light source for an image forming apparatus, mainly involving issues of projecting angle (spatial) and spectral of the light sources projecting onto the device under test by means of an image forming apparatus, and providing practical solution for resolving such issues. An array or module of light source is provided at where the light source of the apparatus is located. Under different conditions, LED of more than two colors form the sub-units of the array/module to provide projection light with variable projecting angle and variable spectral for the same device under test. A focal lens is further provided beneath the array light source to ensure that the light source projected towards the device under test is within the desired range of the viewing field, thereby improving the brightness of the region under test.
