Abstract

This invention provides a ventilation hole device capable of preventing small animals and rain water from entering a house while enabling exhaust of air from the house without allowing air to stay still. The ventilation hole device having a cylindrical body and a hood fixed onto an outdoor side of the cylindrical body is disposed in a ventilation hole which communicates indoor side and outdoor side of a house wall. An inner surface of the hood and an inner surface of an outer cylinder which constitutes the cylindrical body are provided with ribs which assist the flow of air introduced in the ventilation hole from the interior of the house. An inner cylinder which constitutes the cylindrical body is provided with propeller shaped communication holes twisting in a counterclockwise direction when viewed from the interior of the house, and the communication holes also direct the flow of air introduced to the ventilating hole device towards outdoor without allowing the airflow to change the flowing direction.
