Ecteinascidin 743 hetabolitleri metaboizmasinin birkaç ürününün, insan sitokromu CYP A4 ile aritilmasi ve yapisinin açiklanmasi, saglanmistir. Bu bilesimler, "ETM" seklinde kisaltilmis olup, takiben sayisal deger yaklasik molekül agirligini gösterir. Üç bilesim, ETM 305, ETM 775 ve ETM 204, olarak belirlenmistir.
