LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN SE RELACIONA CON EL CONTROL DE LAS INFESTACIONES DE PLAGAS MEDIANTE LA INHIBICIÓN DE UNA O MÁS FUNCIONES BIOLÓGICAS. EN LA INVENCIÓN SE PROVEEN MÉTODOS Y COMPOSICIONES PARA DICHO CONTROL, QUE COMPRENDEN ALIMENTAR LA PLAGA CON UNA O MÁS MOLÉCULAS DE ARN RECOMBINANTE DE CADENA DOBLE PROPORCIONADAS POR LA INVENCIÓN, CON LO QUE SE I OBTIENE UNA REDUCCIÓN EN LA INFESTACIÓN DE LA PLAGA MEDIANTE LA SUPRESIÓN DE LA EXPRESIÓN GENÉTICA.
