Description

Already known are the devices used to mop up fiber that has been ground on Schwing turbines, etc., and for dividing it into handfuls intended for laying a hecking machine into the pads. Such devices, usually equipped with a clamping conveyor for transporting fibers, needle-like disks arranged on its sides and a wedge-type separating device, moving back and forth across the fiber layer, are quite complex and require skilled supervision during operation.

The proposed device simplifies the dividing organ and has the distinctive feature that to form handfuls on the conveyor after the fibers are mixed with needle disks, a forked lever is used, pivotally mounted with the possibility of periodic lifting over the conveyor (along the fiber path) to pass the handful accumulated during its fortifications and lowered to the starting position by the action of a handful.
